gladecover scout probably ends up in bant hexproof, critical mass of hexproof dudes now.
Turn 1 scout, turn 2 spectral flight/rancor/ethereal armor etc. into turn 3 unflinching courage beats a lot of decks.
I'm pretty unhappy about Scout and Witchstalker being reprinted. Bant Hexproof is a miserable deck that doesn't interact with its opponent and requires very little skill to play. I won a couple of tournaments with it but I couldn't keep playing it because of how miserable I was. This sucks.
I don't have a lot of experience with the deck, so I might be way off, but won't Bant Hexproof pretty much rotate out with Invisible Stalker and GoST anyway? I thought those were the cards that made the deck.

Most likely, but its going to be a miserable 3 months from now. I'm surprised that they actually printed more hexproof dudes. Hexproof seems to be universally hated. Even the people who play it say its unfair and not very fun. I've learned to just deal with it, so its not too much of a big deal to me, but I just find it surprising that they continue to print it.

@403: I'd agree that the text looks like "Destroy target creature. Add BBB to your mana pool". As well, I would hazard a guess at it being an uncommon sorcery, as mana generation seems odd at instant speed for a core set Rewind not withstanding. at 3BB or 2BB I wouldn't mind having this as a more upfront version of Corpsehatch.

It's pretty clear from the image that it is common. Black symbol, white text. It's even clearer watching the video that it's common.
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Thank you and now I'm subscribed.
If you haven't seen their previous videos, links are in my sig. I actually thought this episode was a bit weaker than their other ones, but I too thoroughly love this comedy group and hope they continue to work with Wizards of the Coast for a long, long time.
Having been on Bant Hexproof all season... I feel like I can't even lose, at this point, lmao. Sure, won't have it all at once for very long, but this deck is going to be absurd.

If Liturgy is common, doesn't that fly somewhat in the face of the designers & developers who decided that Doom Blade should be uncommon? Sure, Blade is easier to cast and instant, but the fact that Liturgy looks to be unconditional, and that you can recoup most of your initial investment would make me want to have them appearing at a similar level.
Also, I have to wonder if Liturgy would be pushing the limits of complexity for what they would allow on a common; especially in a core set. Either way, I'm happy that we have a likely more powerful version of Corpsehatch.
Plummet? It may not put cards from the library (or, for that matter, the battlefield) into the graveyard, but that's the millstone. Seriously, does this card have any reason to exist now? (Though arguably it had no reason to exist before; I drafted green-blue in Avacyn Restored, eschewed all flying hate, and still went 3-0.)
Rewind is a much more powerful card. I mean, not as powerful as it used to be, but powerful once AVR rotates out. Also, "control is dead" lol.
And Lava Axe! Yay! Red gets its flagship overcosted burn spell!

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!

To be fair Timber Wolves is underrated. (mostly because banding is "too complex" for most people) That being said all these cards are not something to be thrilled about.

The Jace, Memory Adept at 9:41 is also a copy from M13.
Jace, Memory Adept was already confirmed as reprinted in M14, but the video clearly has some cards from outside of M14.
Some had the new set symbol.
For example, (at 5:27): Millstone and Elixir of Immortality.
Wouldn't be the first time something like this has happened. Shock was reprinted quite often during 7th Ed. through 8th.

No.
For one, Vastwood Gorger doesn't fit the crunch.

Verdant Haven is here for the mana fix. I suppose 1 is worth gaining 2 life.
Briarpack Alpha is nice, and I suppose it's the closest we'll get to Briarhorn in a Core Set.
