when i read the description of Season of the Lich, i love it, i know i will pick it,
but suddenly the last one is Liliana's Wake, it's Liliana!!!
what not to love from Liliana.
so then, i pick Liliana's Wake
and for other people who don't pick it because of Liliana, i bet they will pick it because it's a planeswalker related card.
Wizards print good rares, players complain about cash grab. They print underwhelming rares, players complain that the cards suck. They spoil the best cards first, players complain about the insane prices of preorders. They spoil the meh cards first, players complain that this is the worst set ever.
So. I think I understand now.
As far as these forums are concerned, WotC can never do anything good because:
Card that is new and probably good = "pushed"
Card that is new and probably bad = "EDH/casual fodder"
Card that is a reprint = "lazy"
Card that is a better version of an older card = "power creep"
Card that is a weaker version of an older card = "worthless"

I think Waste Not is the clear choice for reasons already stated. The others show the zombifying well enough, but that's only a third of the card. Waste Not is the only one that ties all three abilities together.
Liliana's Wake would be my second choice, since it's abstract enough that it doesn't just look like a reanimation spell, and it parallels nicely with Liliana's Caress.
I voted for Season of the Lich. I like the "harvest, but slightly off" feel of it.
As long as Liliana's Wake doesn't win though, it should be fine. That description is just...ugh. Whoever picks that wants generic art with some uninteresting character over a concept that actually focuses on the art. (Then again, given that it's the same idiot masses who voted for an unplayable card, they'll probably be all over that Liliana reference because PLANESWALKERS ARE SO COOL GUYZ, I definitely predict it to win)
Accusing people of picking Liliana just for "the tits" is awfully childish and disrespectful.
I rather liked the wordplay and flavor behind the fact that they're using both definitions of the word "wake" in the art description.
Liliana's card art has been very nice, but never just about her body.
And just in case you didn't notice, one of the other card art descriptions ALSO mentions a female character, but you likely didn't leap to attack it because it's not an easy target.
Liliana is nowhere near as bad as Jace when it comes to "Hey we need a blue mage for this artwork. where's poster boy?" Dude is frickin everywhere.

majority of voter's won't read. will see liliana and vote. gaurantee you. will eat my foil goyf if any other art wins.
edit: mind you that you posted this on a forum where someone had to say needs more fish tits in reference to zegana. so uh... childish? nah. whats more childish is wanting more tits.
I voted waste not cuz it sounds like fun and I like cards with fun art.

Yeah man that's totally why every single piece of her art has her in some bodice showing off her 36DDs. People just like her character. Which is what again? Ambitious and evil? Very well-rounded. Like her tits.
most concepts refer only to zombies tokens but the discard is related to the mind and the loss of this. I do not like any concept...
I vote for the season to liliana not win.
Liliana's Wake is connection to known character - which I like - but somehow reads "Lili 2 waist deep in water". Season of the Lich sounds nice and mysterious, but a bit crowded. Waste Not is better for portraying all abilities and the "playtest" name is soo ironic, but discard = literal junk pile is EDIT: a bit strange for flavor. Other two are too generic.

They didn't attack it because they're not sexist, they just think Liliana is a bland character that is more breast than woman... I mean have you seen Liliana of the veil? That art is by no means good or interesting, and focuses way too heavily on her overly exaggerated breasts.
Liliana is just as bland and uninteresting as Jace... None of the new planeswalkers are deep or complex, they're bland fantasy stereotypes. In all honesty, Wizards struck gold with Urza and have been trying to recreate it ever since with Tezz, Jace, and even Bolas, but they just can't seem to get that same dynamic awesomeness.
I didn’t think that any of these really captured the mind-destruction/discardy vibe that might have been expected for this card.
I voted for Lilly cos the description seemed a bit more unusual and original than ‘cemetery with purple mist’ or ‘necromancer stood in moonlit wood’. Although reading the other posts here, it seems I also voted for Lilly because I like boobs. Whatever.
The ragman concept was a close second for me.
Oh come on. There's nothing original about liliana.

Imho, Liliana is much, much more intersting as a character than Urza. Urza is just a generic "arrogant, super talented kid". Yes, mysterious, sort-of-evil woman with a tragic past is also generic but the way she's written with all the inner turmoil still makes her interesting. Imho, the main reason people value Urza so highly is because they began to like him when they were Kids before they learnt what a well-written character is, and now they like him out of nostalgia.
P.S: Yes, I read The Brother's War, and honestly, it made him seem even more bland than Jace.
Color: Black Spell
Location: A misty clearing between withered trees
Action: This is a mood piece, set at night. The background of the image is an enormous full moon which touches the horizon... very bright, but slightly ominous in its tint. Most of the image is in silhouette against the moon's light, but in the foreground we can see enough to know that we are in a dense pumpkin patch to give us a sense that this is a specific time of year. In the center of the image is a figure, very tall and impossibly thin, who is seen in hard silhouette against the moon. His posture is regal, his face slightly upturned to the night.
As the pumpkin shapes become more back-lit we realize that some of the curved silhouettes aren't pumpkins at all, but are the hunched backs of several zombies who are starting to rise from among the patch.
Focus: The scene
Mood: "In the first hour of the third day of the seventh season, dim your lamps. Hush your infants. And lock your doors."
Probably going to win because that's Slenderman. Just saying.
I think the idea of scrounging through the trash and reclaiming discarded items and creature parts fits the idea of how the enchantment effects the game.
I felt Necromancy Ascendant and Necromancer's Call were pretty generic zombie raising tropes. Season of the Lich seems like it has way too much going on, and how do you reasonably make a pumpkin look like a zombie? Not going to work. Liliana's Wake gets bonus points for having Liliana, but the Rag Man in Waste Not is the winner for me.
Voted for Waste Not, as I love the way it plays into 'discarding' and all three effects. Plus Rag Man Flavor to the maximum. Though Season and Lilly aren't bad (a cool moon and the discard-gal).
For all those still thrashing the card---y'all need to chill out and grow a pair. Don't be such babies about it.

that's not what happened at all. kamahl stabbed phage, akroma, and some old lady and they became korona. then korona got stabbed by her "prophets" and kamahl got drunk with a mutant centaur
I assume that one of these will be our final card name too, right? 'Revenge of Necromancy' is horrible and doesn't actually make any sense as a name but I don't remember seeing confirmation that it's just a placeholder.

I went with Waste Not because Rag Man.
Maybe, but we will have another vote on the final name once we have the art for the card.

[Inkfox Aesthetics] [The Spirit of EDH] U Sakashima the Impostor R Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker Sigarda, Host of Herons
Hence having no better options I voted for prettiest looking
[Edit]
They seriously should do a "Season of the Lich" card though, that topdown concept is awesomely cool
