I picked up some of these 3 booster pack plus promo blisters at my local Target store. I noticed that they had fat pack art for 2014. Not sure if this was posted anywhere yet.
Please move or remove if this isn't in the right place. Thanks!
If I'm not mistaken, the card on the front of that m14 intro pack is a Zenith!!!!! Zeniths back in M14? Names fit near perfectly in the Name & number crunch(With the exception of the red one).

Luck isn't the only reason I win. Just most of the reason.
It's definitely not Black Sun's Zenith, it appears to be a white creature with two words in the title. I think there are three mana symbols, for example 4WW.

Looking over the new cards. Ajani's Chosen seems like a perfect fit!!! One line of flavor text, 3 symbols, And the art looks very similar if you look closely.

The first card on a intro deck is always a foiled creatures.... It won't be a Zenith.

Lightning Bolt is feasibly replaced with Spear for a colorless added to cast, like Cancel. The only thing you lose by switching is a "Turn 1, take 3 to the face." Which is the type of thing MaRo is on a mission to get rid of.
Not quite. Bolt can also = remove target creature for R. Which is the sort of efficiency removal needs to have in order to stay ahead of craziness like BTE.

I'm a control player, because I like to reserve the right to say no.
This article shows that one of the Planeswalker's homeboys are in the intro packs (though most of them are pretty decent, I've seen far worse intro pack cards).
Seriously though, the next set is supposed to be medieval times so we should assume slivers aren't in that set? Why bring back an iconic five color tribe, with huge design and flavor changes so they're nearly unrecognizable but by name alone, to only release a handful of cards in only three colors and not be able to expand on it in the next expansion? The Player base said, "Remember the good old days?" but WOTC was too busy rejoicing, "MOOOONNNNEEEYYY!!!"
Happy anniversary, shadow of the game I used to love...

I literally corrected myself 2 posts later! Not trying to come of as mad, but was being the 3rd person to tell me I'm incorrect necessary? The added confirmation is reassuring though.

I wasn't try to be a jerk, and I apologize if I came off that way. I didn't see your corrected post, and at the point I posted the two other people who had commented on it not being black sun's zenith know what card it was. I posted the article because I thought it might be helpful, as it shows the featured card in every deck.

I don't disagree, I was using that as an example. How many 1drops have a toughness of 4 or more how many 2 drops? Luxodon Smiter if you discard cheat him out. Not much else. I don't mean nothing else, but it is close to nothing. Listen to MaRo's Drive to Work Titled 'Creatures', he touches briefly on "bonkers" spells, mentioning Dark Ritual and Ancestral Recall which is part of that cycle. The. only card in that cycle that isn't a turn 1, 1 card play is Giant Growth, thus the only one you'll see reprinted(thanks to New World Order). You want an Instant Red 1-drop? Take Shock, and say thank you, because that's all your getting and that could've been taken away too. Wizards makes the Cards AND the Rules.
Should mention that slivers are naya-only.
It's pretty much confirmed at this point, right?
Lest we forget, that unlike the REAL Slivers,, They all say "Slivers YOU control get ~". Thus no Plague Sliver in M14 as an answer. Core Sets are intended to be introductory for new players, so we can speculate that Shandalar could host all color Slivers(that have ART AND RULES TEXT like the old Slivers), and even possibly on Theros or the next ReVisited plane after. (They Screwed up Phyrexians imo, hopefully they haven't destroyed Slivers, there's still hope.)

You will not remember my face, your name, or your journey, but in the end...
You will accede my every command.
Lightning bolt may be reprinted at some point because it is still only spot removal and 3 damage to the face is not what it used to be because of creatures like centaur healer and thragtusk being printed. While red is my favorite color to play, I'm fine with shock because it still usually trades with a higher cost creature. But the main reason I'm fine with shock is beacause when bolt is in Standard, it limits the amount of other quality red removal they can make. You can give me shock forever if you give me a 4CMC red instant thet deals 5 damage to creature or player. As long as the higher casting cost red removal is powered up for Standard, I'm fine with my lower cost removal being nerfed some.

The thing about Lightning Bolt is that we've gotten "strictly better" Shock variants in the time it's been gone. Burst Lightning, Galvanic Blast, and even Tarfire seem to be WOTC's way of dancing around the fact that, even though Bolt is too good to reprint, Shock isn't quite powerful enough to be the new benchmark. Personally, I'd like to see them reprint something like Shard Volley or Sonic Seizure, even if only for novelty's sake.
I don't think Healing Salve is being left out of new sets because it's too powerful. Its effect isnt' good enough to spend a card on, and it's a modal spell-- not good for core sets. That doesn't mean it won't come back to Standard though.

Chandra gets a new card. The others we don't know.
New art Nightmare
What's the precedent? I thought the Moxen used the artwork that had been used in MTGO cube.
Right, for 2011, but that was before they started using DotP as a regular vehicle for previewing cards for the fall core set.
Please move or remove if this isn't in the right place. Thanks!
The main reason, I think it's a zenith is that the art looks PAINFULLY close to Black Sun's Zenith. But it really is up in the air.
Edit: The more I look at it there DOES appear to be a P/T. Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

The art for the Piledriver wasn't changed, but your point overall stands
Unfortunately it is one of the Planeswalker's creatures (Ajani's Chosen, Liliana's Reaver, etc).
