These announcement arts are usually packaging arts, almost never (that I know of) actual card art. I think Chandra's card will either be new art that we haven't seen yet, or a reprint.
It's a little frustrating how so much Magic art is SO GOOD, but then there's little things like Chandra's disproportionality (and Liliana's lopsidedness, and Kresh's weird-looking six-pack) that look so bad. Reminds me of hearing some really good music--produced and played really well .. and then there's this one weird section or bad note or cheesy lyric that just ruins it.

Maybe they will actually create a version of her that sees constructed play.

+1 Chandra deals 5 damage to target creature or player.
-3 Destroy two target lands.
-7 Chandra deals damage equal to the number of cards in your library divided how you chose amongst any number of target creatures or players. Damage cannot be prevented or redirected once targets are chosen.
Starts at 1 counter
Basically my premise on this type of planeswalker is vulnerabilty but with awesome second and third abilties if not dealt with.

This would be at or above the power level of JTMS. 5 damage for a +1 ability?

+1: Reveal the top card of your library. If its has a converted mana cost of 2 or less, add it to your hand. If it does not, add it to your hand, then discard 1 card at random.
-3: ~ Deals 4 damage divided as you choose among one or two target creatures and/or players.
-7: ~ Deals 2 damage to target opponent for each permanent he/she controls and for each card in their hand.

Yes but it starts at 1 counter which means it will max have 2 counters on it for an opponents turn. But also, imagine if JtMS costed UUUU would it still have been as good?
If a planeswalker costs RRRRR then shouldn't it be better than 1RRRR 2RRR 3RR or 4R?
Where do you draw the line at power level is appropriate for its cost vs overpowered.

Yeah, no.
If this thing activates even twice, it's waaaay over the top. Also, RRRR is a bit intense. Players like to have planeswalkers that are splashable. If that +1 did 3-4 damage, and couldn't hit players, then maybe. Also, the double land kill is really odd here. The -7 is pointless since your opponent will die before Chandra ever gets to 7.

I think this is a general design statement that hurts mono-red the most. Red has a notorious reputation (in modern magic, the past 8 years or so) for its overpowered cards being overpowered when they are splashed. Lightning Bolt isn't OP in mono-red, its OP in UR and Jund, so mono-red suffers.
Wizards has been convincing in their history that they are scared to print a powerful R planeswalker for fear that it gets splashed in and becomes degenerate. Koth is arguably the best R planeswalker and he's not splash-able due to his abilities not his cost. I like the idea of making it a heavy R costed in order to be able to push the power level.

Even ignoring the power level issues, that's really bad design. That first ability puts your opponent on a four-turn clock, so there's rarely a reason to not just repeatedly Lava Axe your opponent in the face every turn. The second and third abilities might as well not be there.
Just to remind people, the first art we get is usually not card art. If this follows like Sorin from DKA, this is packaging Chandra art, not card Chandra art (even though the dimensions work so well).
I really hope this isn't the card art. The quality of the image is high (for details), but the anatomy flaws are really off putting (and the fire hair; is she bald?)
This, really.
Also the artwork looks horribly digital, one can only hope this never ends up on a card.
I have no special interest in women's footwear but this actually jumped out at me too!
Pillarfield Ox needs to be the white planeswalker. Best creature at any mana cost ever. He clearly has the spark.

Don't forget Adaptive Automaton... He's an amazing Ox pumper as well as being an artifact Ox.
"You said you wanted to cast what?! Counter that!"
Its about time...The Firebrand isnt a bad planeswalker, but they've improved Jace, Liliana, Sorin, Garruk...Its time for Chandra to get some love.
