This is absolutely crazy when combined with Curse of Exhaustion. A two card, possibly 5th turn HARD LOCK with enchantments (the hardest permanents to deal with) is insane.
Curse of Echoes is pretty fun too - whatever they cast you get to Possibility Storm one of your spells of that type out of the deck for free. With the Exhaustion lock in place it's just icing, but it's a lot of fun.
What about abusing this with memnite and Emrakul in Modern? If you only have 1 spell that shares a type with it, then you are 100% sure to hit what you want. The goal of course is to resolve Possibility Storm with Memnite in hand.
As a start
4x Possibility Storm
4x Enlightened Tutor
1x Memnite
2x Emrakul
I like this card with Selective Memory, but the Curses are an even better idea. It's kind of a way-less-sexy Unexpected Results, but then again, maybe both of the cards could work in the same deck? If you run Farseek and Enter the Infinite pulling off a T3 Results, hitting Possibility storm isn't awful because it sort of turned all of your sorceries into Unexpected Results.. sort of?
I dunno, now I feel like I'm just taking a weird deck and turning it into a headache..
Question for people trying to brew Storm/Curse--did you brew Knowledge Pool/Curse of Exhaustion as well?
I played a home brew of Pool/Exhaustion for a bit in Standard at FNM's. It was basically Bant control/combo, running DOJ/Snapcasters/Thragtusks/etc. It wasn't bad, won a few FNM's with it but I couldn't tell you what the decklist all had at this point.
Like I said earlier, if I were to go with Storm/Curse, I would likely build it either W/B/R or W/R/U control. I think the W/B/R control version might fit best, as you can combo in pieces like Curse of Death's Hold or Rest In Peace with O-rings and make it an enchantment/artifact combo control kind of deal.
Sounds fun.

Old enough to know better, much too young to care.
This might not be bad in my Gruul EDH deck. It essentially doubles my chances with Lurking Predators and makes Dragonlair Spider a bit more noticeable. Still, the sheer randomness of its effect would warrant some play testing like no other.
It's symmetrical, which isn't nearly as good as if it were one-sided. It can really goof up opponent's plans if they try to cast Thragtusk and reveal a mana dork off the top.
Really good if you can put cards on top first somehow. Difficult to do in the current Standard which makes it too random.
Hysterical EDH griefer card that will likely backfire on the caster when the opponent casts an Ornithopter into Blightsteel Colossus.
This card is going to be cheating Omniscence into play. You play one, and a TON of 1 and 2 mana enchantments and just cycle through your library until you find big blue. Then you get to cycle through your deck again to find your win condition, whatever that may be. Could also be fun with one mana dudes and any fatty. Or something of that nature. This can be very, very exciting.
Could also be fun with one mana dudes and any fatty. Or something of that nature. This can be very, very exciting.
Possibility Storm + Mana Dorks + Beck // Call + Fatties could be really fun. Mana dorks ramp you into your five-mana enchantment, and give you a chance of casting your fatties if you never draw a storm.
Most of all, I want to see someone casting Tibalt to PStorm into Nicol Bolas.
I think the best way to develop a deck with the curse storm combo is to implant it into an already established deck. I would say it would be fairly easy to do this in a deck that can hold its own without the combo. I would choose b/w tokens. Sorin, intangible virtue, midnight haunting, lingering souls, gather the townsfolk, doomed traveler, angel of serenity, curse of exhaustion, possibility storm. Three colors, so the mana base is pretty easy. Sorin will always storm into sorin; traveler can storm into angel; midnight haunting will always storm into midnight haunting. What do you think?
I'm trying to brew it and to me the most important thing is consistency. so only two cards of each kind with similar effects, so that possibility storm doesn't really affect you. for example my 2 sorceries are supreme verdict and blasphemous act. the cool thing is that if you have 2 possibility storm in your hand it's not a problem, as the second one would possibly resolve in a curse.

Im trying the mana dork into Fatty approach. The main issue is late game, where you can storm a Thragtusk into an Arbor Elf. Which is very suboptimal. Everything else seems to work pretty well in my current meta. Where everyone is sideboarding Grave yard hate, and isnt thinking much about enchantments.
Also you really have to manage your mulligans to make sure you can either hold them off (with the centaurs and the tusk) or that you can ramp into the possibility storm quickly.
Multiple Possibility Storms off of casting a legion's initiative is a real thing though. You rarely miss twice, and once the elves are out you are solid.
This is one turn quicker in cementing a lockdown as opposed to Sire of Insanity. Might not be standard viable, but it almost instantly neuters your opponents chance to respond to any threat.
I've been toying with Possibility Storm in Kitchen Table Casual and no matter how you look at it, it's the most unfun card to play or play against because by comboing it with the right cards it sets up a lock that forces players to enter their scoop phase all at once with Arcane Laboratory and Rule of Law. Now nobody can cast anything unless they Flashback or Retrace from their Graveyard. What's even worse is If you exile their Graveyard with Relic of Progenitus or Tormod's Crypt after you locked them for game with Arcane Laboratory and Possibility Storm. So much for player interaction, that combo is worse than Stasis with Winter Orb/Static Orb. You could also get rid of their lands with War's Toll or Price of Glory as well but I wouldn't recommend it though. It reminds me of when I used to lock my opponents with Realm Razer, Rampaging Baloths, and Ghostly Prison.
I've also playtested Possibility Storm in EDH/Commander and it's terrible, only the 2nd spell you reveal with the Storm gets resolved unless someone casts Curse of Exhaustion targeting you and you can't play anything unless it has Flashback or Retrace for the rest of the game. Possibility Storm doesn't work that well with the Storm mechanic which is why it's great against decks that utilize on the Storm Mechanic with cards like Brain Freeze, Grapeshot, Tendrils of Agony, Dragonstorm, etc. I also played against a Standard Boros deck running Possibility Storm with Curse of Exhaustion and he locked me til he got Tajic, Blade of the Legion out hoping he'd give Tajic +5/+5 with 2 other creatures he didn't get with the Storm for a faster kill so instead he took 10 turns pinging me for 2 with Tajic til he won. He also ran Blasphemous Act for board wipe incase he went up against any Aggro decks in Standard plus it's fun to potentially cast it for free with Possibility Storm.

Sometimes thats a good thing.
The issue with that is surviving the beat down in standard right now...
I'm glad its not izzet... they've suffered the burden of "weird" and "interesting" enough, in all fairness.

Also, Information Dealer comes to my mind with this, but maybe legacy is too fast for this enchantment.
