Gelectrode is not a pauper card, though. And delver has always been kind of an odd man out in that deck; it really wants to just slam in for lethal in one swing. Just chipping away for 3 a turn while your opponent is finding his removal spells isn't the way to go.
I think my jaw dropped when I saw that it was common. This was the card they needed to make Izzet a more playable draft option in RtR. That said, I think this thing could potentially break drafts and sealed. playing 2 instants or sorceries during your turn gives you a 7/4 for 3. That's just insane. Defender really isn't even an issue. It's just a nice keyword to give more synergy to other defender strategies. I like this card, I like it a lot.
You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
Cast means you payed mana for it and is on the stack.
Played means it has resolved.
Not quite. "Cast" is the term for playing a spell. "Play" is the overarching term for playing a card (spell or land). Casting a card is the same as playing a card, but playing a card isn't always casting a card (if it's a land).
If the store owner says that I can't trade in the premises, I'll just go outside. If he says that I can't trade within 10m of his premises, I'll go to 11 meters. If he says that he doesn't want to see me trading, I will put a basket over his head and continue trading.
Yes, he's a local legend. He's only known to take his clothes off before he goes into the Ladies' Lockerroom. Nobody knows what he does in there because he's invisible, but it's almost certainly tons of masturbating.
I think he will be a nice blocker along with Augur of Bolas for my Izzet in Flames deck.
Though now I wonder what is the size a homunculus must achieve to be a cyclops.
Edit: I think Izzet need more of these "When you play sorceries/instants, this card gets awesome" to go with the guild theme. Currently, only Nivmagus Elemental and Guttersnipe are worth considering.
good term, but incorrect assessment. as mentioned many times, very good in pauper.
and while probably not a tier 1 deck, its certainly not garbage in standard either. jank, but not garbage.

R Citizen Cane (Feldon of the Third Path)
It will be insanely good when both players are on top deck mode or against deck with little removals.
43/111, approximately 39% complete. Over a third done.
(calling it now; there will be a cycle of Legendary dual lands with Basic Land types in Theros block)

The Attention Deficit Guy URGU
Will definitely replace Wee dragonauts! Happy! 4 of!
I could see myself brewing a cool FNM deck (not T1, mind you) with this, either pure Izzet or American (UWR), running either Delver of Secrets or Nivmagus Elemental as the one-drop/s, Snapcaster Mage, Augur of Bolas, Incursion Specialist as the two-drop/s.
Also, Mizzium Skin is a card, in the event of Abrupt Decay
