I once farted during the final match for prizes at an FNM. It was a tense moment, everything was quiet, control vs control, I was about to mana leak, thought about it.. and farted. Then mana leaked.
No opinion regarding Constructed, as I don't really play any formats besides Commander.
In Limited, I don't like it much. There's a much lower percentage of instants/sorceries in Limited decks, and as a vanilla creature it's really unimpressive. Three mana is a bit too much to be very attractive to a typical Orzhov strategy, too.
You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
bad. 2/1 for 3 that may rip a card from their hand? even if it does get a card it's not great value. not even good for limited, glad it's uncommon so I won't see it often.
Eh, three mana in those colours? What deck wants this? Tidehollow Sculler got played because it was so flexible and efficient. This is worse than that by a loooong shot.
It's like Tidehollow Sculler, but you never have to give it back... at the expense of an extra mana and being an instant or sorcery. It's still a 2-for-1 though, so I could see it getting some sideboard play here or there. I've always liked this aspect of Orzhov.

This card is bad in limited, but it is quite good in constructed, particularly as a sideboard card. It's actually better than most of the rares spoiled so far.

^ Excellent point
EDIT: sort of, I guess it has to be an instant or sorcery for this dude. Still, limited sweetness.
Exiling is. See castigate or Tidehollow Sculler.
the exile clause. just like castigate
I think exiling the card vs. discarding it is the white part.

The artwork is nice, though, agreed.

Seems efficient, but obviously not good against every (most) decks.

Siding out your 3-drop and bringing this guy in v. control seems like a valid plan.
