This card in a Naya deck, Parallel Lives, Cathars Crusade, Sphere of Safety. Just off the top of my head but this could turn out to be fun with several other things to throw in.
Yeah its definitely not an aggro card, and I imagine that even with its raw potential for more RW control shenanigans aimed at drawing a game out, its still too ridiculously slow for constructed. Its just so sad in comparison to the busted card
I would not dismiss this card to hastily. It really does pay itself back quickly, and the haste makes it almost a four drop. While it's really hard to compare to anything in existence, this card might be the new bitterblossom of naya midrange in the new standard.
This card is soooo bad lol. Turn 6 is not when you want a single 1/1. Even in limited it doesn't seem that great
This.
Although i don't agree with the "This card is soooo bad" and "even on limited it doesn't seem great"
But for a boros aggro you don't want to start poping tokens 1/1 at turn 6. Comparing to Thundermaw Hellkite another drop 5 that have place on boros aggrp. When this one drop the first token, thundermaw already hit for 10.
This might find a home maybe on an America control, if something like that pops out.
For Constructed, it seems like a slower Increasing Devotion. I suppose that it can stick around longer and create some inevitability in Contro matchups, but when this gets removed after a couple of turns it's really not all that impressive. It can find a home somewhere though.
Seems interesting for non-aggro decks. Should have costed 1WWR or 1WRR instead though to be truly amazing. If multi color control/midrange decks picked this up and did well with it though, I wouldn't be surprised. Seems like the biggest "could be good" question mark card so far.
This.

Who said anything about aggro? Of course you wouldn't play this in aggro.

I think the fact that these tokens have haste is a big factor. It can, often, permamently enable battalion, board wipes become less powerful, and provides blockers against midrange/aggro. Personally, I'm looking forward to the permanently enabled battalion effect. Top deck... firemane avenger, frontline medic, odric, etc. Granted, this is kinda a win more card. However, I think 5 isn't impossible and could still be decent in constructed with all the mana fixing and ramp naya gets.
too slow for my standard aggro deck, but once i remake it at some point into a modern mid-range aggro/control this is going in, champion of the parish and hellrider are in love with this.
Read again. The tokens are not Humans. Just soldiers. Hellrider good here, Champion...not so much.
I'd be very happy to open this in draft. I don't play constructed, so all you haters just keep on hating and I will have a barrel of fun as my EDH and limited opponents look down the barrel of this beastmuffingunnin.

Oh I thought the tokens got bigger each turn as well would have been killer but yea it's pretty week with just 1/1s. You are probably better off with a planes walker or something at 5.
depending on how good america control is, a lot of people are going to be eating their words. this card has no much potential for control variants, its certainly not "crap"

you're crazy. if this was 4, sure it wouldnt be op, but how do you lose with it, if you play it turn 3 on the play in a control deck?
4 mana for limitless stream of creatures seems a little pushed.
I think that it's an Enchantment is probably good enough in that regard.

Steel Sabotage'ng Orbs of Mellowness since 2011.
With Gruul's insane trampling and aggressive starts, Simic's ability to curve out and crush, this doesn't strike me as good even in Limited.
Feel like I'd rather play a Bazaar Krovod or something than have this.
Was Commander's Authority good at all? This is a little better.
Fun casual build around.
I could be wrong.

Dude. This isn't an aura. This puts out increasingly more tokens. Those tokens have haste. I guess this is harder to splash?

Really, because at 4 id play it as is I'd conceder it.
Like for most of GTC, I'll say it's "good in Limited." Definitely no Pack Rat, though (on turn six with Pack Rat, you have five 5/5s, not one 1/1.)
