Basically, from RTR we know the packs are not truly randomized. There are 8 distinct "packages" that each have an identical 15 cards. That means there are only 8 possible rares that you can crack in a Guild Pack.,
1. The Guild Leader
2, 3 and 4: Each Watermarked Gold Rare (discounting the promo)
5: The Hybrid Rare
6 and 7: Each Mono Watermarked Rare (one of each color)
8: One non-watermarked monoColored Rare (A Primordial)
You cannot get a duplicate Promo or your guild's Shockland in the guild pack.

What were the non-watermarked rares from RTR for comparison?
I will try to pull them up, RTR was different in that, not every guild had Watermarked Mono-colored Rares (Selesnya had none, Izzet had 2 and the rest had 1), So there was a lot MORE slots for non-watermarked. (Selesnya got 3, Izzet 1 and the rest, 2, to fill the gaps). Gatecrash has exactly 2 mono-marked-rares for each set. Giving it a nice clean even need for one other rare to complete the Potential 8. But yeah, let me see if I can find the list, it's buried somewhere deep.
for reference sake, at the bottom of this linked post I have compiled the confirmed contents of 32 of the 40 RTR guild packs. We're still missing 8 of them, but at this point its next to impossible to find the rest of them without people cracking any guild packs that are left over in their LGS's.
Hopefully now that there's an awareness for this, the Gatecrash guild packs can be 100% figured out:

Would it be close-to-accurate to just randomly generate a guildpack based on random possibilities and crack 5 packs to practice building a pre-released sealed deck?
So wait, the guild packs have a chance of opening up a non-watermarked rare? I don't remember my RTR experience to be like this, although I did only play twice. I was under the impression that all cards in your special pack all had to have your guild symbol.
You are not guaranteed a Gate for your guild. The distribution is: 11 commons, 3 uncommons, 1 rare, and your guild promo.
One guild booster pack: Here is your sixth pack! All the cards in this pack are either from your guild specifically, or are at least your guild's colors. That puts you on the path toward being able to play your guild in the Prerelease (which is the point, of course!). Each guild booster pack comes with eleven commons, three uncommons, a rare, and the premium (foil) Prerelease promo card specific to your guild. Now, you might be wondering if you can open a mythic rare in the guild booster pack's rare slot, and the answer is... yes! But! The only mythic rare you have a chance of opening is your guild leader.
In the same way you can tell someone is from the XVIII century because he is arroused by ankles, you can tell someone is from USA because he feels nipples disturbing.
I'm a little slow today - does this mean that the Guild Leader (in the case of Boros, Aurelia, the Warleader) is definitely going to be in each Guild Pack? Or is there still the same random chance as usual?
For RTR, in at least 1 of the 8 pack combinations for each guild had Transguild Promenade as one of the commons (the Guildgate effectively is the "basic land" that a normal pack would have). I'm gunna go out on a limb and theorise that GTC packs could contain Prophetic Prism, which is this set's rough equivalent to the Promenade for Limited colour fixing purposes.
I think you've gotten a few of these, but I'll say this again: That site is sick looking dude. I love the reflection up at the top, very pretty. It's so nice to see these little things that are done by individuals and still look good. I've seen professional pages that don't look half as good as this does. Boros has a few rares that I want even in limited. Assemble the Legion, Boros the Reckoner, Five Alarm Fire are all good at the very least.
That's kind of what I'm saying--there's isn't a single rare that I'd hate to open in my Boros pack. This is opposed to me opening up a pack of any other guild, looking at the rare, and thinking to myself "yeah, looks like I'm playing 19 lands".

EDIT: Here you go: Golgari - Grave Betrayal, Underworld Connections / Rakdos : Desecration Demon, Guild Feud / Izzet: Conjured Currency, / Selesnya Wild Beastmaster, Mana Bloom,Precinct Captain / Azorius: Palisade Giant, Sphinx of the Chimes.
There are a LOT less Mono-colored (nonmarked) Rares in Gatecrash. (only 10 total!?) SO i guess just more, guild stuff this time round.
None of the RTR guild packs contained a non-promo promo Rare (f that's what you mean)

Correct. Guild packs can contain their guild leader, but no other mythic.
