I use the Duels Of The Planeswalkers layout, though I'm right-handed and keep my deck and GY to the left. I dare you to ask me how tempting it is to hold flying creatures in a floating pattern over the table.
Devour in Shadow is already playable in a format this light on unconditional removal, and this is basically an auto-4-of in any W/B deck running 1 drops (and with shamans everywhere...). Its a pretty reasonable charm, I like it.

I can see this card being standard playable and possible modern playable as well. This is actually like the first spoiled card i like but dont want for my EDHs

It's *kind of* White, but they're definitely stretching things a bit.
It would have made more sense on Azorius Charm, IMO.
Actually, in the simic it would make more sense to me
But I can also see in Azorius.

That said; I like it.
It's not overpowered; and is useful (especially for firebreathing soulbounded double strike douches :P) -- 2 CMC unconditional kill w/ 2 drawbacks (hard code + lifeloss) is nicely balanced.
The bounce as a protection isn't bad.
The return to play will probably not be that useful in std [at least w/ existing cards]

This is fairly big. We have 2 mana instant speed kill that isn't highly restrictive again. The replacement of Doom Blade with Murder has been very noticeable in this Standard.
The last mode is clearly geared towards modern, where Martyr of Sands and Deathrite Shaman are of high priority. The other two should be excellent in Standard. The first provides some nice wrath recovery, while the second is one of the best removal spells we've got in the format.

Awww WTF is that first Ability?!?! Cmon no Life gain? A simple raise dead would have been beter as well. At least it kills stuff dead but sad this is such a convoluted card.
How about "You may discard your hand, pay 5 life, rip this card, remove 3 digits from any number of target fingers you control, and concede at the end of the next end step rather than pay It Will Go Through!!'s mana cost.
Orzhov is betraying Obzedat! First the Blind Obedience, now a reliable instant speed removal that can deal with him.
But who cares?
It also fun to play with Edge of the Divinity, i really like this card for casual and i always sad when i got 2 for 1 on it.
The third mode is also fun, but it could be at last 2 CMC, to bring back blood artist and the High Priest.
Any deck that can use the return to hand effect at least moderately well will love this card. Great removal + some flexibility. The last ability doesn't seem very relevant in standard atm, but it is better than nothing.
Pretty garbage in limited, all abilities except for destroy creature are really narrow. 1cmc return? Unless you pull some good 1cmc in a draft or have an aura-focused deck, I don't see it being very useful. Would go nicely in my B/W mimic deck with edge of the divinity, but I'd put this in gruul-charm tier.
And of course all these people saying its FORMAT-ROCKING, while trash-talking every other card spoiled. Absolutely disgusting.

It's white, saving your creature from harm, death, among other possible things.
See: Saving Grasp
Idk why this is being underestimated so far.
Also see all the blink your own creatures-creatures. Like Kor Skyfisher and Whitemane Lion

It's always been white's thing to return permanents you control to your hand or flicker them, while blue's bounce is unconditional.
Extort allows you to mitigate the downside a bit.
