If it was any land, I'd be worried, that's what made Prime Time so stupid, it did it not just on ETB, but every single turn as well, and it was ANY land.

Only Forests, Forest-Plains, Forest-Island, Forest-Swamp, and Forest-Mountain.
Sylvan Primordial will be pretty nuts in EDH. The Realmwright, I like, but I'm not sure he's something I would run personally, as my creature count is pretty low, needs to be utterly nuts/likely to stick around for me to use it. The Biomaster is fine, just not to my taste.
Again, Simic gets a big flavor hug with Master Biomancer. They really made this guild the coolest of the set just on that factor alone.
Definitely. This guild, by far, "speaks" to me more than any other. I didn't realize I was a Simic fan until this set. Although they could've probably renamed the guild "Vorthos" with the amount of fan-love they're giving it.
Also, with this out, Fathom Mage becomes a 3/3 creature that draws 2 cards for 4 CMC... pretty decent.
I'm a bit rusty, but wouldn't Master Biomancer's ability apply to himself as he enters play, making him a 4/6 creature (and giving subsequent creatures you play 4 +1/+1 counters)? I assume I'm missing something...
Only Forests, Forest-Plains, Forest-Island, Forest-Swamp, and Forest-Mountain.
Which are all, you know, not Kessig Wolfrun, Cabal Coffers, or Urborg, which are three main offenders for Prime Time's banning.
His stupid card advantage at 6 mana was stupid good, I'm not denying that, but it was also repeatable every single turn. This Primordial is a one shot deal unless you flicker him (something mono-green can't (I'm sure someone will find a way like Conjuror's Closet) do frequently/easily)).

All the cards in this group are pretty interesting. Especially the Biomancer. As an aside, am I crazy for thinking the M13 Ajani works pretty well with some of the simic cards in Gatecrash? His +1 ability seems handy with Fathom Mage and the new Biomancer. Probably too slow, but there could almost be something abusable there with the capability to put +1 counters on a few of the simic cards for free.

It's very scary that you don't understand ETB triggers. As long as (this) is on the battlefield (things that then enter the battlefield) (get counters).

Please stop referring to Realmright as "efficient mana fixing in blue". He's not, at least for constructed. A 1/1 for 1 that is easily removeable in all formats seems like a pretty steep cost for mana fixing that only fixes one color and doesn't ramp you in any way. His body is a liability in every format except limited, and should be considered a drawback/cost. (please don't argue that ramp elves or birds are also just as removeable, at least most of those cards actually ramp and/or fix multiple colors)
This card will see zero play in any competetive constructed format. Even valakut decks don't consistently use these effects with prismatic omen available. His best use is in 2-3 color limited decks that could just use an extra body that also provides the occiasional color fix, that's it.

Isn't master biomancer just a teribad anthem u have to play before your creatures? Seems its mythic just for limited. Green primordial is P Titan and terrastodons love child!
I really like the simic cards. Alot. That being said, it feels like their entire strategy revolves around filling the battlefield with durdley creatures while walking blindly into a Supreme Verdict as you scream 'Come at me, bro!'
I hope I'm wrong. But with a sizable chunk of the set spoiled at this point it feels heavy on over-extension and light on resiliency.

You gained nearly two cup sizes!
If the effect is reproducible, you could make yourself a fortune with the late-night infomercial crowd.
EDIT: oh god, it's even funnier in italics.
Only Forests, Forest-Plains, Forest-Island, Forest-Swamp, and Forest-Mountain.
Bribery (you know bribery right??? the blue EDH staple ???)
on turn 3 or 4 into the Green Primordal. you get at least 3 forest, OR Forest DUAL LANDS, while hitting your oppoents ramp or lands.
Even if you don't play forests, he is still a better Terastodon, I'd bribery him just for the removal.
This guy is better than Primetime, HE IS AN ANSWER.
It was a good film.
I think the real issue in your scenario is Bribery.

So glad I have a full playset of Sulfur Falls and Hinterland Harbor... though Harbor will be going straight into my Simic deck.

No
It's an amazing anthem you have to play before your creatures.

Could even throw in Zameck Guildmage for some more spicy
