A lot better/playable than some of the recent judge foils.
    Quote from Radiozero

Also...it's EDH there is no such thing as commander as a format. EDH was made by players, Commander is capitalism taking something from us. Don't use that name.

Love the artwork. Might have to track one of these down just for that...

No Bribery in Modern Masters then.
Love the game, hate the players.

Bribing judges with bribery? Why I'd never
PSA- With BNG having many 'opponents choice' effects and not just in tribute, it helps to know how to evaluate such mechanics:

Whenever a mechanic gives an opponent his choice of one of multiple options, the ability is overall worth less than the least of these options, made worse by how different the options are and better by your ability to manipulate this choice. In most cases you have no meaningful way to influence your opponents choice.

Wasn't recruiter revealed to be a judge foil?

    [23:18] <CC> You're somehow gayer than I am.

Bribery could be the other Judge foil in the set. Remember, Noble Hierarch and Karakas came out around the same time. Wouldn't be surprised if Bribery was paired with Imperial Recruiter.

Credits to Disappointing Signet Inc. Chemtrails, you are the greatest disappointment of all.

It's common that the pair consists of one card for Commander and one card for Eternal.

Bribery is the only non-modern frame card in one of my EDH's.. now I must have it..

So many ooze cards in RTR block! Now all we need is an "ooze lord".
    We have Mark Rosewater already.
Yeah, but his weakness to bus based removal is so crippling. Certainly not a 4 of.

I wish my 4/4s with haste and first strike that acted as Goblin Warchiefs were better and didn't die to instants and overshadowed all other 4 drops in the format. And that they had evasion too, and some way to dodge wrath effects.

Right b/c Hierarch, Karakas, and Imperial Recruiter are totally unplayable

I like the card, I don't like the art. Agree with Stabmaster, most likely out of Modern Masters.

Why are people mentioning Modern Masters? AFAIK, Bribery was never Modern Legal thus it would've never appeared in the set to begin with.

Bribery was reprinted in 8th edition, and modern includes all sets 8th edition and onward, so it is legal, just not played.

I'm trying to play riku in modern frames, too. I even switched mana drain for fnm counterspell and time spiral for time reversal. Grin
Of course it has to be BB so bribery is foil from 8th. Glad I have it seeing this new artwork.

I mean that Cockatrice shows the old version of the card. Since nobody locally seems to play any 8th Briberies either, I hadn't seen it.

judge promos are becoming commander arsenal #2
The 5 stage of grief: how Spikes reacted to Sylvan Primordial ban:
    - Denial
    Quote from Wonderland
As of Feb 03, 2014 Sylvan Primordial isn't banned as per WOTC rulings.

    - Anger
    Quote from DCDT-Dito
our group as decided to avoid most of the ban because whe believe that the edh banlist commitee might be a bunch of monkey that only listen to player complaint instead of actual card power.

    - Bargaining
    Quote from DokuDokuH
I guess I was one of like 3 people who didn't use sypri in a degenerate way? Anyways, for animar (the only deck that ran him), I'm giving people a choice - I can either keep playing him, OR I can swap him out for Palinchron and go infinite, their choice.

    - Depression
    Quote from Voxxen
This ban has me feeling ornery and antisocial.
    Food Chain into Prossh.
    Erayo into Edric.
Sadness into "New to EDH? Here have a deck to play. Keep it."

    - Acceptance
Nope, Spikes will not reach this stage, they are too mature for that. Instead, they will still complain one year from now, like what they are doing with Primeval Titan!
