Annihilating Fire and Electrickery are pretty nice. Rest of the red cards seem rather meh though (except Guttersnipe, which we already knew), as expected.

Why? They have consistently said they want people to cast their spells, and in a multicolor environment, that doesn't change.
Casting spells is fine, but not significantly punishing people for running 20 nonbasics seems like rather bad planning. Little Timmy's Vastwood Gorger deck probably wouldn't be susceptible to nonbasic hate (Timmy whining = why they nerfed LD), so how would 2R, sorcery speed kill a nonbasic be bad? It keeps greedy, stretched mana bases in check.
I want Eltectrickery foiled and a wall piece from the artist... That's gorgeous
Lobber is a great throwback to Goblin Sharpshooter in a relevant set!
Racecourse Fury might be the only haste spell I ever run. That's a great threat on the table at all times

IF (obviously I don't know the future so maybe I'm worried for nothing) 4/5 color decks become the norm, I'd consider that a failure of design. That 5 color control deck back from Lorwyn-Alara Standard was perhaps the least "real Magic" deck I've seen in Standard in years. I just don't want that to happen again. A good, non-embarrassing answer to some of the utility lands (like Township, Haunt, etc.) would be appreciated too. Acidic Slime alone I don't think is going to cut it.
But I'm becoming increasingly less impressed with Overload. I'm sure it works fine and is costed appropriately. It just feels very unexciting for some reason... even over the Rakdos ability.

Then people should play fewer colors (LRW 5CC comes to mind), or use fewer nonbasics. Pretty simple.
It's still an issue if people only play 2-3 colors. Besides, using fewer nonbasics means that nonbasics will be worth less, which in turns means fewer packs sold.

I swear Wizards are making a snide reference against Batterskull.
Player A: I cast Batterskull.
Player B: I cast Batterhorn, destroy Batterskull.
Player A: Flips the table.

Unleash looks brutal in limited. I'm going to pair some unleashers up with the golgari promo during the pre-release and have some fun.
