These are the last 2 cards!? I feel like there are a few things that they forgot. Like, what happened to the X power scavenge guy?
While Sluiceway Scorpion is on the battlefield, scavenge doesn't do anything. It's once it dies (or gets into your graveyard some other way, such as by being discarded) that things get cool. Any time it's in your graveyard and you could cast a sorcery—i.e., during your main phase when the stack is empty—you can pay and exile Sluiceway Scorpion to put two +1/+1 counters on a target creature, because Sluiceway Scorpion's power is 2. (There's at least one scavenge creature with a power that changes while it's in your graveyard, but Sluiceway Scorpion's power is always 2 when it's in your graveyard.)
And does conjured currency use the art of the hand holding the gem? If so, that is a waste of good art!

If I understand Conjured Currency correctly, does it mean that they can't exchange control of the same card? As in, if you take your opponent's...Avacyn, he/she can't take back Avacyn on his/her next upkeep, right?
First Strike and Regeneration make me wonder if the designers were off their meds. They both basically do the same thing in most combat situations.
regeneration applies to situations outside of combat (i.e. removal), so it's not exactly redundant. card is still terrible, though. i wish they would keep the "skill tester" cards (i.e. bad cards unplayable even in limited) at common. it's pretty disheartening when cracking packs, even moreso in Sealed Deck, when your uncommons or even rare are merely road signs from WotC saying "if you have any idea what you're doing, throw me in the trash."
I would venture to say we have about the same amount of playables as any other large set. It does seem as though less commons are playable, however there are a ton of good uncommons..and atleast abrupt decay is not mythic..
Could be a lot worse...I am looking at you Bonfire
Rakdos Ringleader- because Hellhole Rats simply broke Ravnica the first time around.
that made me giggle. judging from wotc's standpoint towards discard, those rats would be no lower than rare today. discard is unfun you know, as is ld. As such its supposed to primarily be on rares and mythics. (yes I know mind rot is a common in this set)
I'm SO SICK of the "too strong for Standard" argument. It's the new "Dies to removal". We can have a two mana 4/4 with a zillion abilities, but we can't just have Accumulated Knowledge. Makes sense.

You've got it wrong. When random **** happens to you, that's R and it's lolsofun random and so good, it should be in all R rares because they love getting screwed by their own cards. But when can affect other players with their random crap it's OP and not fun and should be in overcosted cards.

Yes sir, I take fantasy art and character design commissions, PM me for rates.
Ah yes, those red rares costing 5 or more mana, those with at least five lines of text which end in either coin flipping, self damage or sacrificing multiple of your permanents.
Apparently reds random "fun" somehow found a way into black territory already. At least tavern swindler is a good start. Its no wonder R/B ended like this, is it?

I have a wierd feeling that Rakdos Ringleader originally had paincast.
Conjured Currency is so trollolol. I remember some game (forgot the name) that has different items, then each person (in turns) either picks an item, or switch an item with another person, once an item is taken away from you, you cannot get it back.
Someone is going to make a deck with no wincons other than a Conjured Currency.
Could you use a Conjured Currency versus a show and tell deck? If someone doesn't use omniscience to bring in their Emrakul could you just use this tech to gain control of it at the beginning of your next upkeep and just win in turn? CC doesn't seem like a horrible card, but it also doesn't seem all that great. Was just thinking about the goofy interaction though and decided i'd post about it.
regeneration applies to situations outside of combat (i.e. removal), so it's not exactly redundant.
It's just bad design. Because the regeneration is so cheap, just putting that on would have easily been enough; in the majority of cases where the First Strike would save Rakdos Ringleader, the regen would too.

Skill tester cards are so stupid. Limited card choice takes plenty of skills; realizing that the 6 mana 3/1 with no evasion sucks isn't one of them.

The wedding is over. Now it's time for the honeymoon.
Someone needs to sit Wizards down and have a talk with them about six drop enchantments. Good lord they just can't figure them out. This is not actually the case. They know what they are doing. it just makes me sad that they consider obviously crappy cards in the set to be good set development.

The Conjured Currency will be fun in my Venser blink deck. Oh you stole my creature? I guess I'll just saving grasp him back to me. What's that? Doom blade the Carrie I stole from you? I guess I'll Cloudshift in response. Its fun abusing the own/control differences.
That card is templated improperly. "Strike" should not be capitalized and there should be a period at the end of the regen clause. Come on, if you're going to fake it, fake it right.
That's a mockup, not an actual picture. The reasons why have been pointed out by other posters.

Wondering the same thing for the Scavenge guy. The way he explained it, I thought it would have appeared in RtR. Oh well.
Overall, I'm still stoked for RtR. Lots of goodies to look forward to!

The image of the card is real. It is 4BR.
Also Conjured Currency is a 'nor' (I misread, or maybe I failed english) instead of a 'or'
But that makes zero difference as to how the card plays
Starcitygames is selling it for $20 anyway.
That image is absolutely not real. I have never seen a more obvious "mock-up."
