Well i get my source from the store owner... he could be lying to me for all i know... but usually they dont.. i guess i'll see where he gets his sources from..
I don't think he would have been lying to you so much as plain messing with you. It's really not that big a deal *why* the comic's been delayed as much as it is *that* it's been delayed (apparently). I'm just curious why it might have been delayed and they never said anything.
Come to think of it, I don't think they ever really even gave an official release date for this issue. My local comic store only seemed to know when the third issue and the fifth issues came out. No info on the fourth one at all.
I don't understand why. We have Jack, Zack, Mac as real names and no one says anything like "derrr zack zack zack how weird" just because you are used to them.
Haha, I think that's exactly the problem for me. I don't want my Planeswalkers to feel like some guy I might have gone to high school with. They are characters in a magical fantasy world - if their names sound too present-day, it's jarring.
Plus, "Dack" sounds kind of WASP-y - like he grew up in the suburbs (probably in Florida or something), and his frighteningly mediocre parents couldn't name him Aiden, Jayden, Cayden, or Braydon, (because it would rhyme with Fayden and that would be a disaster) so they decided "hey! Let's do something crazy and name him 'Zack', but with a D where the Z normally is!" And it was the most creative moment in either of their lives.
By the way, checking today's Card of the Day and the Arcana they reference, it seems that the cover and promo for issue 3 originally was for issue 4 and viceversa...
If I read a character story about a person named Dack in a Star Wars comic, game, or novel I would not bat an eyelash. For some reason it just seems uber cheesy in a fantasy setting, and Fayden is just awful.

I noticed that, too. It seems somewhere down the line the covers got swapped. The one with Feast of Blood clearly says "#3" in the top corner, so we know one didn't slip under the radar. The back of the issue also has the art from the alt-art Electrolyze with the words "Next Month" over it, so they did/do plan on printing the issue with Electrolyze. I suppose it might just be a matter of when.
I personally enjoy the comics, but believe that they've really messed up with the releases. This is rather annoying.

Yep, the second series was scheduled to be released at the end of this month but has had no other info come out, like what the promo is or the likes of that.
According to the thread in Storyline, this issue has been bumped back another week, and it's release date is now the 23rd of this month.
Finally, some solid info! It's actually quite relieving to finally know something about the issue's release. Granted, it's going to be a little weird with issue 4 coming out on the 23rd and Spell Thief #1 coming out the week after, but hey! Now we don't have to wait as long to see the story continue.

I just hope they don't push The Spell Thief back just because issue 4 was pushed back.

I doubt they will. Its release date has been known for a while, whereas issue 4's hasn't been known or mentioned at all up to now, as far as I can tell. Based on the link connected to the link above, they still intend on releasing The Spell Thief #1 on the 30th, and #2 on June 27th. It looks like we may get back to the end-of-the-month release schedule.
At least this seems to indicate that everything will go according to schedule for the time being. Spell Thief #1 at the end of May, #2 at the end of June, #3 at the end of July, and #4 at the end of August. I'm guessing by the time we get #2 or #3 they'll have revealed the next arc.
