If the other threads info turns out to be true its a 7/5.But the UUBB in the casting cost and ninjitsu cost make it highly unplayable even in a blue/black deck.
So a late game finisher with a combat damage ability that hardly matters by then plus your hitting them for almost half opponents life total.....yeah they made it for Commander.Yay ??? Look i get people like commander i haven't played it so i cant knock it.But was it to much to ask to have a regular casual ninja legend?
That is one fat Ninja.
Ninjas kind of needed a finisher of sorts if you're opponent's not running many creatures to abuse with Ink-Eyes, so I guess I'm sort of ok with the high cost and P/T, but if his ability is just casting an instant card in the opponents hand when he does damage, that's really not going to do much for you that late in the game. Also it's not very black either.

Brian Tinsman, Set Designer :?mana::snow::snow:
Legendary Creature – Human Designer (MR)
Brian Tinsman, Set Designer can only be cast during the third set of a block.
When Brian Tinsman, Set Designer enters the battlefield, ignore all flavor and mechanics of the first two sets in the block. "Ok so what do we have here... gothic horror? Scrap it. Expand the Devine Vs. Demonic duel deck to 244 cards and print it!"

That's why it is pretty disappointing, we already know Ninjutsu and Commander format was never going to work properly, and this just more or less confirm it is not suitable for constructed either.
Ninjutsu and commander work together just fine, jut not as commanders.
But that's just it, we'd (at least me) really like to see Ninjutsu work in Commander in the form of some crazy shenanigan where you can Ninjutsu your General in fom the Command Zone.
Besides this and his big cost, I really don't have a problem with him. Even though he is a lot like Wrexial, the Risen Deep...

Commander is a casual playstyle. Why do people keep looking for offical ruleings on it?

Beat-stick ninja, exactly what my ninja deck wanted.
Well it will see more play in Commander.Just not as a commander.Though i cant see what UB commander youd have in a ninja themed commander deck.Isn't their only 8 ninjas total before this guy comes out?And where not likely to get many more, maybe 2 others, this still makes a terrible Commander ninja deck.....i take it back this ninja isn't going to see play...in anything.

So is Monopoly, but its better to know the "Generally Accepted Rule" other than being held hostage by "house rules". People expect to play the game a certain way.
Why would someone build a deck to only play with a certain group, or certain person. I like to be able to play my decks with the world (MTGO).
If the store owner says that I can't trade in the premises, I'll just go outside. If he says that I can't trade within 10m of his premises, I'll go to 11 meters. If he says that he doesn't want to see me trading, I will put a basket over his head and continue trading.
Yes, he's a local legend. He's only known to take his clothes off before he goes into the Ladies' Lockerroom. Nobody knows what he does in there because he's invisible, but it's almost certainly tons of masturbating.
Isn't it more akin to the ninja to serve/work for a non-ninja lord in the first place? I mean clans/groups will have their higher-ups, but ultimately they are getting bankrolled by a non-ninja somewhere up the line.
Not that I wouldn't be totally stoked for a ninjutsu that worked from the command zone!
