We still don't know if this is true. A photo of someone holding 2 demonic tutor promos proves nothing.
Apparently multiple sources on Reddit are saying they got judge promos and foil tokens/oversized cards in their Helvaults. It's like the Zendikar treasures – if you don't have it, you don't have it.
With the availability of camera phones and the given number of people at these events, I find it hard to believe that no one would snap a picture of this. Without photographic proof, I'm calling shenanigans.

Agreed. If I see some pics, I may go down to my LGS and enter the prerelease which starts in a little less than an hour. Someone take some shots of the FOIL-y goodness! If nothing else, I want me some FOIL tokens!

except this is really not a big deal and it would be very weird to take a picture of it
I was kinda pissed that NO ONE at my store got a priceless treasure in Zendikar. It was supposed to be one in 20 boxes. I saw over 100 opened at our store and no one ever got kne, to the point were they all thought I was lying to them.

There was a bunch of the stuff opened by my friends with zendikar. I had actually seen my friends open a savannah, a candelabra, and a mox over the first week the set was out.
Were you this upset when you didn't open a Hidden Treasure at your Zendikar Prerelease?
Same kind of promotion...it's supposed to be fun for the players, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
EDIT: To quote another thread:
Not sure how not getting a free $100 card = "getting screwed over"
Not really, in zen the treasure thing was just a bonus in packs.
The hellvault is promoted as a special item by wizards. Finding out it had jank in it was a disappointment, finding out that some people got awesomeness when your little prerelease got **** is going to make have-nots irritated.
Frankly, it's a little absurd to complain about getting free stuff.
Then again, these are the same people who would complain that there was a $5 bill in their pack just because someone got a $10.
If you paid EXTRA to get into a helvault event, then I understand your disappointment at the contents, but then your store screwed you since this was a promotion from Wizards and the stores didn't have a pay a penny for the helvault.

I got free stuff. It was not very valuable free stuff.
He got expensive free stuff. My free stuff was 5$, his was 35$. Screw you wizards.
I guess OP wants it to be 'keyworded' like "dies" was. What word would you replace ETB with though?
When Aegis Angel is born?
When Huntmaster of the Fells arrives?
When Kitchen Sphinx lands?
When Faerie Imposter busts in?
When Dread Cacodemon pops in?
When Malfegor shows up?

This 1000%, both shops in my area kept the normal Prerelease price. We're getting more for the same amount of money. If your shop charged extra for the Helavault event, be pissed at them. Not at Wizards.

Actually interestingly enough I was there when my local was talking to his wizards rep about the Helvault, the rep practically told him to charge more. Thankfully he decided against it, is providing the helvault with pack prizes as normal. We found out earlier this week that same rep was apparently let go.
I'm calling shenanigans! Grade A Shenanigans! Where are the pics of 54 Promo Money Cards? If the Helvault my LGS is cracking tomorrow contains anything stellar you better believe pics are being taken and posted.

My work schedule requires me to work several doubles, so it may take me a couple of days to respond to messages.
Now that this is confirmed I am firmly sad that I missed two prereleases I could have gone to today. Heres hoping I didn't miss the foil vault. Doing another prere tomorrow though, hopefully this furvor doesn't push attendance over the 54 person cap(my lgs opened the helvault events to 80 players cap).
I doubtful that posting again will convince any shenanigan callers, but those Exalted Angels were there. Bet my entire magic collection against $5 and you can call me Fraudinesia forever if I'm wrong. : )
Anyways, I'm not sure how good of a marketing tactic this is..It' sweet for the people who randomly get $15 to $110 cards*, but a lot of people who only get swag from the decidedly mediocre normal Helvault probably feel a little disappointed and frustrated.
I obviously have little room to complain, but I actually feel a little disappointed that I didn't get a Demonic Tutor foil..Maybe that says more about me than anything else..
*Or $10 to $100 cards if this depreciates the price.
Well, after seeing this addition on the Helvault, I'm still disappointed:
-While I can understand an argument based on stocks/supplies/etc., having only few foil helvaults is just pointless. The people that would open a non-foil one will be left with nothing playable and thus will be disappointed at least partially.
-Giving Judge Promos to people that are not judges (or any celebration-related promos to people that are not eligible to have them) is upsetting for judges/eligible people and non-eligible ones shouldn't be that happy either. Imagine if this is done to some cards like 1996 World Champion or other limited promos. The special prize that has been given to you is not so special anymore because many other people have it. The precise concept of having a "INSERTSPECIALSTUFFHERE" Promo and then happily giving it to everyone makes the whole thing meaningless. This is also a shot into the credibility because the next time they'll make a new promo people won't be interested/will just give it away in the almost-certainity that some years later the whole word will be flooded by copies of it, thus making its value, both from monetary and experience standpoints, drop.
If I buy a judge foil does that make yours less special now? The only."special" thing about it is whatever you attach to it. Until selling promos is punishable by death, there will always be those with them who are not from the original category of recipients
Red should be burn, Goblins, Dragons, draw/discard, and Standard-unplayable 5CMC cards with insane, lengthy effects that take 10 minutes to figure out what they do and another 20 to actually make their effects work on the field.

Foil promo Wood Elemental would be sweet. I would flash it in response to someone armageddoning then realize I don't have any untapped forests.
Except for Magic players, it is. It is not even about the price, but if we got a foil helvault, I sure as well would be freaking out and making pics.

Not going to a hellvault and personally don't care.
But yes I feel like a substantial amount of the have-not hellvault community might have some feelings like that.
