Not sure why people are reading more into this than it really is. Just tokens and a theme/promo (for existing cards for INN and DKA). This isn't foretelling anything for AVR.
These are cool! And the Human side's art is certainly far superior to the normal Human token's.
Regarding making double-faced tokens the norm: Read here.

The ad cards are created to advertise Magic-related products. Why do we do them? Because the only thing in common about Magic players is that they all open up boosters and thus that is the best place to let them know about various other Magic-related things.
R&D tries to make the back of the ad cards have value but let’s be clear the ad side is what pays for the ad cards (and note that they are an extra 16th card in the booster pack). I understand you might not care about the messaging on the ad cards but there are others who do and learn about things only because of them.
To hit a common theme of mine: Just because something is not for you doesn’t mean it doesn’t have value to someone else.
Took them long enough. They've always had the "space" on tokens for, well, a 2nd token. The ads on the back of all the tokens we've always gotten has always been annoying. The purpose of ads have always been to expose new/newer players to products that may or may not appeal to them. Veteran players are "on top of things." MaRo's little quote about the token being the 16th card is mute. We never asked for a land/token to be added to the booster packs we buy. And with the "odds" of getting a token versus a double sided AD... they could definitely rethink the tokens. At least, that's my take on the matter.

It doesn't just get information to new/newer players, but to ones who don't check the internet for Magic news, or at least don't do so frequently. Even long-time players aren't necessarily up to date on new and upcoming products. It's a considerably large demographic that's being served, though obviously not one that's going to be well-represented here.
The "16th card" comment is saying that the ad cards aren't taking anything away from a booster pack. They aren't replacing something else in a pack, and they aren't increasing the price of the booster. They're purely gratis. It's hard to sympathize with demands about a totally free add-on. And it's a bit hypocritical to say "we never asked for an extra card" while complaining about how that extra card isn't good enough.

Saying that you sometimes wish people (in this case the implication is the staff) would fall down a well and get AIDS is hardly appropriate for the forum.
All tokens should be like this instead of putting dumb advertisements on the back, it would be easier to get a lot of each token if they were paired like that.
I'm banking on an enchantment or sorcery that puts X human tokens on the battlefield that transform to wolf tokens with an upkeep cost or if you have so many of them.

correct me if im wrong but i believe that they dropped a common to start adding the basic land to the boosters, so the cost of a 16th card is more than replacing one of the existing 15.
im a complete token junkie so ill be rounding up all of my friends to play that day so i can get as many as i can.

On the same token, (pun very intended), If we had a guaranteed token in each pack, it would help out OCD magic players such as myself who want all the appropriate tokens, but don't feel like dishing out money to SCG or a local shop for the "right" token. Anybody remember the 7$ Gargoyle Castle token?

If a unique token is made by a Rare or up (2/2 Flying Vampire, 1/1 Lifelink Vampire, 3/3 Deathtouch/Lifelink Wurms, Sorin Emblem, X/X Ooze Token) then the likelihood of getting that token is the same (or aroundabout) as the chance of getting that specific card. So, keep your Vampire tokens, since EVERYONE needs them.
I've collected several (3 of each Wurm, 10 2/2 Flying Vampires, 5 1/1 Lifelink Vampires, 5 Sorin Emblems and stacks of Soldiers/Humans/Spirits/Wolves/Zawmbeez/Beasts/Myr etc.), because it flat-out BUGS me when a feature match/final doesn't have the right Tokens :|

I said this in my previous post but I think I can make the point even better now. Lets say there are 5 different types of tokens in a block say spirit/Sphinx/zombie/goblin/elf. If the zombie and goblin were made by commons they would be one token, then the spirit and elf since they are made by uncommons, and the Sphinx token would be by itself and pared with an add since it's made by a mythic rare. But here is the advantage of this system. We now only have 3 token cards instead of 5 so the odds of getting any of the tokens just went up, even the Sphinx token.
Or they could start putting tokens on the backs of the Tips & Tricks cards so they aren't completely dead cardboard for those of us who aren't rookies anymore.

If the store owner says that I can't trade in the premises, I'll just go outside. If he says that I can't trade within 10m of his premises, I'll go to 11 meters. If he says that he doesn't want to see me trading, I will put a basket over his head and continue trading.
Yes, he's a local legend. He's only known to take his clothes off before he goes into the Ladies' Lockerroom. Nobody knows what he does in there because he's invisible, but it's almost certainly tons of masturbating.
My local FNM location announced they will be available here in the Netherlands, so I guess it's not US-only
I'm pretty sure is international. After all, its just additional cards, and they ship cards all the time. Its not like some other promotion, like the M&M ones.

Have to say, though I like the Human side, I'm not too fond of the art on the Wolf side. Much prefer the elegant Wolf on the Innistrad token.

Sleeve them up, that's what i do. Usually use different sleeves than I play with for my deck to pull them out afterwards easily.
However this DFC might cause a problem, kinda hope they use the same art in AVR for regular tokens
Clear dragon shields is what you will want for double faced tokens if you sleeve them up.
I use those sleeves for all my DFC needs. I find it the best way to use them and protect them.
I miss textless cards. (Tokens and textless were both MPRs).
I'm in Canada and I think we're getting them, so I'm sure other countries will as well.
