I dreamed about this card for ages. I even made a sorcery with the same effect in Custom Card Creation. You know what? It's my favorite land from all of them. I dare say, it's the best land, that gives creatures something, that was ever printed. I find it funny that they did not print it in Guildpact, because it's perfect for Orzhov Guild.
Is it just me or does this card make anyone else want to play B/W tokens and sneak some mortarpods in it, working wonders just like ol' Garruk ;D
I cried tears of joy at the thought of using Mortarpod and this land to kill off a big control finisher...but thinking about it now, I'm crying tears of sadness because there are currently no control finishers that see play right now that make me feel like it's an even trade.
i like it with a fatty on the battlefield. it's got a few good interactions with the other lands. WUB decks have moorland haunt, WBG have gavony township.
Oh yeah because Gavony Township is such a bad card, with a very similar effect?
Gavony is a totally different type of card. Gavony's effects are permanat and not to mention the fact that you can easily activate it on turn 3 in most decks that run it. Not to mention Gavony is a permanent effect that continues to assist your game plan.
The W/B mana base in standard currently isn't strong at all due to lack of fetches and fast lands of enemy colors.
This is a nice card for sure i was thinking of making some form of g/w/b midrangish deck and this would fit pretty nice on a thrun or even something like a solemn to get even more valur out of him if anyone could believe that. I approve and this is yet another land that craps all over stensia bloodhall why did they have to make that one so much worse then the others?

That's why wedging green and Primeval Titan is probably not a bad idea... heck, one can even fit in Gavony Township itself. The things this means for all those zombie tokens I'm going to be churning out with Grave Titan is... intriguing. And the best part is Unburial Rites can be splashed.

i think most of you think this card has to be aggressive... when it really doesnt.
i for one would love to have this card out when im about to swing late game with anything.
grave titan and hero of bladehold love this card. an EoT cat orgy plus activating this next turn could be insane.
Well... people don't usually look beyond the cover of the book, such as Sorin Lord of Innistrad... People think that is an aggressive only card... When it will probably be better in control decks as the next Elspeth Knight Errant.
But this is not to say I agree with your statement.
I think the card is good, and it's a good threat, I think a B/W midrange deck would put this to good use

I always say that they oughta be careful with the lifelink mechanic as it can be really powerful at times. It seems the spell lands are going to be really powerful here. I mean, Gavony Townsship and Moorland Haunt are just insane. Hooray for enemy colors!
And the BW tokens deck gets even better. Once you have the mana to activate this your opponent loses the ability to safely block/attack into your creatures. Deathtouch alone would have been powerful but the lifelink pushes this over the top. I rate this over Gavony Township and I like township.
Definitely a solid add for the BW token push. Sorin puts out the lifelink tokens from the get go and now you have the ability for them to kill off whatever's coming at you or Sorin. Probably a 2-of in potential token deck.

you can generally tell the easiest road to victory by how many players congregate on it; and the road of counterspells/control has been the freeway of choice in magic for quite some time.

What I find offensive is not that Wizards is endeavoring to make the game more accessible, but the attitudes of elitists who act as though no one of any age should show their face in the Magic public without first having mastery over the complexities of the game.
Card is fine. It just makes the already bad mana for 2 color enemy color decks that much worse if this is to see play, of course people will force it even tho I doubt any of them come close to Moorland Haunt, I still don't see them being unplayable.
Enemy color decks need mana fixing tho, I mean if the UR delver isn't viable simply because it doesn't consistantly get turn 1 basic, turn 2 other basic/sulfur falls, turn 3 basic/sulfur falls, going from B/W to WW/BB to 1BB/1WW to 2BW/2WW consistently is going to be quite the task. Reflecting Pool or enemy color manlands (WWK style) would be about as good as it gets although I doubt the manland thing happens again since having them in addition to the ISD block lands makes your lands able to take over games by themselves. Terramorphic Expanse would even suffice.

Edit: A lot of Innistrad block constructed decks already use B/W tokens with Mentor of the Meek, Midnight Haunting and Bloodline Keeper. I'm frankly a bit scared to see how good this land is going to be.
