Because the human side of the card is a decrepit old person? Because the flipped side of this card is SO AWESOME? I think it's one of those, but I cannot say.
I once farted during the final match for prizes at an FNM. It was a tense moment, everything was quiet, control vs control, I was about to mana leak, thought about it.. and farted. Then mana leaked.
Damn what a frail body! Then again it is an old lady so I guess that is pretty spot on flavor-wise. But we have broken Old Ladies before Mother of Runes. Too bad this isn't one of them.

To the people that say that a card needs to be a higher rarity because of Limited... I hate you guys so much. I present to you with this.
This is not better than ranger and especially not kruin outlaw or everwolf. This will only see play in limited.
Or else this may be the card to make counter-wolves viable. I have always thought that blue was a great color to go with the werewolves strategy because turns are often draw-go anyway with wolves; both love to play in the opponents turn.

Small on the human side though, I guess they said that would happen.

Some evasion would have been nice.
Probably at cost of P/T but still...

This is making me sad. Are there only two transforming werewolves left to spoil? (G and 2GR)

The big different between this and Villagers of Estawald is that the day side of Villagers is really solid. The Elder? Not so much...

That archetype is so broken.
I'd take the old lady. Card draw is a big deal.
I'd probably run both though. Werewolves are pretty strong in limited if you can run enough of them.
