Hmm, in a deck with Honor of the Pure, the new half-a-doubling-season, and token producing effects, she could be good. Beyond standard, she can play with Spectral Procession, Raise the Alarm, etc. Mono-W, GW, or W with a G splash, something of that nature, she could be good. Has some advantages over Cloudgoat Ranger, but also some drawbacks. She looks similar in mechanics, but plays differently. I am hopeful for her.

I could see it in a GW token strategy. I think it might be at its best with Parallel Lives, and you could also add Birthing Pod in there easily, some Blade Splicers... maybe it won't be super competitive, but it sure will be fun

Seems decent. I like the spirit tokens too, though I'm not sure if I like them better than the Shadowmoor ones.
I will agree with you on that statement dear sir!!!! Hell i will just get three of these and run them with my 3 Shadowmoor token's that i use in my legacy deck!!!!

The effect could prove so discombobulating to combo players, in particularly, they may fizzle and run away screaming. "From that day the Curse of the Plateau was upon me, and I found every hand I ever pull from a combo deck is a mulligan."

wow, that art is gorgeous. The text isn't too shabby either. Should see some sort of constructed play. As others have said, it could play in pod, but it's only a 3/3 there, and you don't always have a lot of creatures on board if you pod them away a lot of the time(from my play with current versions of bant/jund pod). We'll see.
Because conservative bias is a far, far worse thing. Liberal bias doesn't, statistically speaking, make people stupid. Conservative bias (or at least Fox's version of it) does.
Comes in with a Sun Titan body if you play it after turning Hero of Bladehold sideways, and provides sword dorks aplenty.
Go-go WW midrange!
U/W midrangish, you mean! I'm playing a more aggro oriented caw now with WaP and honor of the pure and am drooling over all these cards. All the tokens are white thankfully, and the new U/W land pumps white tokens from dead guys.
Can't see serious play because it depends on other cards and a specific board position to be anywhere near efficient. But it won't be complete crap IMO because casual players will enjoy it in their token decks and so forth.
It's like a worse Cloudgoat Ranger. They should have called it Geist-Honored Junk.
CGR gave you three 1/1 soldiers and was a 3/3. This gives you two 1/1 flying spirits and is at least a 3/3. Disregarding CGR's activated ability, I'd say they're about equal, with more value going to the Monk where flying is relevant.
If anything, CGR was a little bit overpowered for offering a choice between a big flying beater and a swarm of weenies. That doesn't make the Monk a bad card in this slow standard.

I'll give it a 5 for the art alone, as for the ability it's quite nice, in a clear field it is a 3/3 but dies instantly when faced against Elesh Norn. Too bad she doesn't have evasive abilities while her tokens have, would have been better when she has flying as well.
#1 - What's the dumbest idea you ever had?
#2 - 15/15 for 15?
#1 - Make it dumber
#2 - Give it protection from removal and counter?
#1 - DUMBER!
#2 - Add Timewalk?
#1 - DAMN IT MAN, I SAID DUMB!! DUMB !!!
#2 - It destroys everything when it attacks.... And wait, I have a friend who plays mill decks... I want to beat him too.
#1 - Excellent! Recess is over, go back and learn sex-ed with the other 6th graders.
Take your monoblack deck, then set aside 14 swamps. Add 4 Creeping Tar Pits, 4 Darkslick Shores, 4 Drowned Catacombs, and 2 Jwar isle Refuge and add 4 Jace, the Mindsculptors. Your monoblack deck is instantly better. Better yet, drop those refuges, throw in some islands and some mana leaks, and lo and behold, you're now playing a real deck. Congratulations. Welcome to the world of competitive M:TG.
This is a solid creature, and perhaps Standard playable if tokens becomes popular. She does have some awesome synergy with both the new Garruk and Elspeth, which is not to be undervalued. Army-in-a-can cards can be pretty good, but Captain of the Watch never really cut it, so this could just as easily be found wanting. Love the art, nonetheless.
Shame she's not an Angel. I gladly have traded some P/T for flying and angelness for my Kaalia deck. Then again, that deck is getting a little overcrowded with Innistrad anyway.
Arkham, the 1920's. Investigators battle horrors from beyond time and space, risking life and sanity while conspiracies of cultists and malign servitors seek gateways for their outer gods to return...

The art is beautiful and the card is neat. I really like this p/t = critters ability in white, which is, after all, the color of having lots of creatures.

the difference between clodgoat and her is that she makes FLYING sword wielders.
and she has potential to be bigger than cloudgoat itself.
she's a good card. i guess the same people telling that this card is crap are the likes who crapped their pants at sarkhan vol, and said that stoneforge was "good"

many thanks to Bornover from Hakai Studios for my lovely sig!
This is the foil to get IMO... crazy pretty. Not so hot on the ghost tokens, but oh well... :|
I think people are a bit spoiled on this card though. I think it will see play, and it's one of the few creatures we've seen in this set that actually is kind of scary. It shares T2 with Timely Reinforcements after all!
Physically a Human can't fly without an unnatural power source.

pledge is rotating. besides, this guy is a house in anything involving blink (read: Venser).
all you need is dudes that maximize value for this guy to be good. Blade Splicer and Hero of Bladehold do this perfectly well.
