draft is gonna be so killer in this set,
Seems like its gonna be about as fast as zendikar,
hopefully there's enough control to keep these awesomes at bay

I once farted during the final match for prizes at an FNM. It was a tense moment, everything was quiet, control vs control, I was about to mana leak, thought about it.. and farted. Then mana leaked.
"If I do go to heaven, I'll smack god across the face and tell him to get me a grilled-cheeses sandwhich and then say 'Yea what now god!? Say some'in! I dare you!' "
I guess Tarmogoyf won't be reprinted anytime soon. If they wanted to print him, this was the set to do it. Instead we get the guy that counts creatures only, in your graveyard only.
Oh well, maybe after a few more years of creature power creep Tarmogoyf will be printable in standard.
Does anyone have info on how Transform actually works yet?
From the looks of Transform, it's do X with a card, then sacrifice/exile/something along those lines X card to get Y. What we don't know yet is where Y comes from or if you can get X back.

I have to agree that the flavor of this set is the best in years. It's unreal how they've pulled it off from the small bit they've shown so far. Draft is going to be a lot of fun from the looks of what we see.
Buying boxes may be viable here just so I can drool over the art.

They basically just reprinted it with that Wurm or whatever it is. That thing has no limits... I'm in shock. In a Pod deck, my mind is just blown right now.
About Frox: for nearly 10 years, Frox has been helping women look good and feel great in easy-fit, mix-and-match, and work-to-weekend with just a few pieces by helping them make the right choices when it comes to clothing and accessories.
...D-Did Eric Deschamps give Olivia Voldaren three legs? At first I thought her right hand was on her knee, but then I look and I see two parallel legs popping out from her dress, and her right hand doesn't look like she's grabbing her dress aristocratically or anything... This is going to haunt me.

Nono, I think it's just her grabbing her dress. Maybe we'll see it more clearly when the screen isn't all shiny.

They didn't reprint it, not even close. Goyf fits into any deck playing green. He's a threat, usually even on turn 2.
This guy goes straight to the graveyard on turn 2, dies to Tormod's and variants, probably isn't playable unless you run 20+ creatures... do I need to go on?
I know Tarmogoyf very well and this guy is no Tarmogoyf.
Thanks to Heroes of the Plane Studios for the amazing sig.

I can see this being grabbed frequently in draft...not first pick or something, but early-midpick. ...But I'm not too good at draft, lol

This will be the case until the mods copy/paste and/or Night falls on the party.

On the other hand, power creep much? Compared to older cards that zombie, drake or wurm are just stupid.

Nope. You need the night creatures because the day creatures don't have the night creature text on the card.

Standard:
Jund Birthing Pod Toolbox
Scars was fun, but fluff and tone not to my taste. M12 is.. forgettable.
This looks great. And multiple cards already seem to have potential.
Artwise, I'm loving this set in ways I haven't loved a set since LOR-SHA block.

Oh and a crazy thought anyone..maybe the 15 extra cards are these enemy M10 duals..and the shocklands?
She flies. She's holding up the dress.
