Not sure if this is better than Torpor Orb against birthing pod, I'm leaning towards yes atm.
Stone= lets their creatures work, only if they draw them/have mana to cast them, stops their sylvok replica (only out to torpor orb), and is an enchantment so Acidic Slime is their only out to it.
Orb= stops all their creatures, but let's them pod to whatever they want including Sylvok Replica and Archon of Justice, both get rid of this, and they're able to search for them via pod

Depends what version of pod.
Silence of Stones:
Turns off pod itself
Turns off Sylvok Replica
Rest of deck works
Torpor Orb
Turns off most of our creature effects
Pod still works
fatties still tutored
I'd personally consider Torpor Orb more dangerous.
We're more likely over a run of games to see creatures honestly than a birthing pod so it's better to turn them off. Silence of stones is a bit like artifact removal against Caw and getting pecked to death by hawks.
Both in the meta means I'm running Beast Within as a flexible answer and copies of slime/sylvok overlap nicely
Yes, it is. The Swords will function if already on something, but they can't be equipped to anything further.
Yup Equip is an activated ability, so it can't be equipped but it won't stop doing what it does if equipped.
