Mind Unbound is one of those rares with an awesome ability that I recognize as not being that great. It's a card I'd love to build a casual deck around.
Buried Ruin is obviously great, but more versatile than it seems. At first you'd think "I'd want to play a lot of artifacts to play this." But actually, you can also use it in a deck with little color fixing needs that just uses any artifact at all. There it serves as a fairly normal land drop, while also giving you a powerful extra option.
I think Druidic Satchel is probably the hidden gem. Two of its three modes are reliable card advantage, and for a pretty decent price.
While Personal Sanctuary can prevent Burn from hitting you, it has an additional upside. It allows you to perform global damage (e.g. Earthquake, Pestilence) without smacking yourself.
Is personal sanctuary ever really useful?
I guess red decks will have to cast lightning bolt on their own turn? I'm not sure I get it.
Red has a ton of stuff that'll synergy with it with stuff like orcish artillery. There's also painlands that would do 0 damage to you if you do stuff on your turn. etc. etc. It's overall a Johnny card, and is a better card than the one that prevented all noncombat damage from your own creatures during your turn (IIRC something from Ravnica).
I wish they'd stop printing cards that are only good for EDH and useless for standard, some of us don't want to play a format in which Sol Ring is legal, and would like fewer cards like Mind Unbound. That sanctuary is just crap too.
Druidic Satchel is a very nice rare to open in limited. Drawing lands late game is so frustrating, this helps a lot to prevent that, while also giving you chump-blockers and life to stay alive.
At least Buried Ruin is really nice for my Birthing Pod deck, as maybe a 2-of.
Personal Sanctuary - An interesting effect, meaning that burn players will be unable to burn you at the end of your turn it also nicely gets around any self damage effects like painlands, Mana Crypt, Earthquake etc. etc. That said it will likely see 0 play in constructed.
Mind Unbound- Now that's a nice blue enchantment for EDH. 6 mana is a lot but drawing 1 card, then 2 cards, then 3 cards .... is a lot of draw and it can be combined with proliferate/Gilded Ouphe etc. to draw even more. For constructed the 6cc will likely make it completely unplayable as Consecrated Sphinx costs the same, gives a lot of card advantage and is also a decent threat.
Druidic Satchel- I really, really like this card, it's probably not going to do much in constructed but the flavour is fantastic and getting an extra land, a 1/1 saproling or 2 life every turn for only 2 is a pretty good deal.
Buried Ruin- It's a nice land for artifact heavy decks in constructed and a great land for EDH in general and especially for those trying to build colourless EDH decks(with Karn or Eldrazi as the general).

And do you complain when they print cards for Legacy or Limited or any other format? Not every card will be playable in Standard and this has been going on for years.
Frankly most people should be glad for EDH because cards that would be worthless jank not even a year ago has some value now.

Yeah i'm starting to see it... at least a little..
Mind Unbound isn't even particularly good in edh. In fact, it seems more likely to draw you a decent number of cards in standard, where it only has 1 opposing upkeep between each of it's triggers. No, I'd much rather run consecrated sphinx or a powerful one shot draw effect like stroke, zenith or recurring insight than this.
Personal sanctuary is the other side of light of sanction. Now you can run all those earthquake variants without doing anything to you or your board.
Druidic Satchel seems interesting...probably not good enough for any real constructed format (too much mana for the only sometimes useful effect), but I'd definitely run this in limited, feels like a Crystal Ball-type value card that will win any game that sees it on the battlefield for more than a few turns.
Buried Ruin, now that seems interesting. I like how it glues both blocks together. There should be more effort like this, I think, in Core Sets, making sure the previous block gets a little support along with the next one. As far as how good it is, probably not seeing a ton of play, but it's a nice effect on a land.
And I've got to say, the super-cynical part of me sees that Ben Bleiweiss makes a point to be on at midnight and spoil to everybody ChannelFireball's card, plus link to the Visual Spoiler stuff which is all from other websites, and wants to call it a shameless marketing ploy by StarCity... Of course I recognize that this is a ridiculous claim, but it bears mentioning.

Personal Sanctuary seems to be an ok side board card against Valakut and Splinter. It might be an exceptionally solid SB against vampires and RDW. It stops creature damage which is very annoying to play around for colors light on ways to deal with enchantments. Leyline only stopped direct damage.

Yes, I hate rares that ruin limited but are completely useless for constructed.
Mind Unbound is useless in every non-casual constructed format (and not even very good in limited) and they should stop printing so many rares like that. Some of us want to open cards we can actually play in a real format or trade.

Limited is as popular or more popular than standard at this point I believe.

Saki, Tsumo After Kon needed to be banned sadly. But I wish we could have kept Saki Miyanaga past the rotation.

Druidic Satchel's art reminds me of a modern take on Jandor's Saddlebags.
Buried Ruin... so no Terramorphic Expanse/Evolving Wilds, then? Really can't wait to see the Rare Land cycle now. If there even is one.
Mind Unbound is too slow for most Constructed formats, but we'll have to see what the new speed of Standard looks like in a few months.
sharuum is going to love the redundancy with this and Acad Ruins.
so good. X)
also, Mind Unbound seems fun to donate with Zedruu (as long as you have adequate protective measures set up already).
