This is now...5 possible lords for blue illusions? (architect, metamorph, lord of unreal, illusion copier and this guy).
Whats fun is, you can cast architect turn 3, and if you have 2 other creatures on board, you can cast this guy and metamorph (as they are both artifacts).
actually 6 you forgot clone and also doppelganger when you play a creature illusions will be amazing
Not only does he get buffed by Lord of the Unreal's ability by changing his own type, but he can pump all your other Illusions; as well as any other chosen tribe? Amazing rare.
Its a Muscle Sliver! A Goblin King!
This is a definite staple for a casual player who will does Spider, Viashino, or Unicorn tribal.
Not only is it good for tribal, it is also good for token decks.

Great design.
ya, ill be putting him into my Ghave Commander deck for sure.
How about "You may discard your hand, pay 5 life, rip this card, remove 3 digits from any number of target fingers you control, and concede at the end of the next end step rather than pay It Will Go Through!!'s mana cost.
I fail to see how this is good with Allies. It has no synergy with their abilities, other than a 1 time effect, and a +1/+1 boost. It's not going to make allies good, because what makes allies is 'good' is their sliver like synergy.
Other than that, this may be one of the best cards in M12, and will likely see play in Standard all the way to Legacy as one more versatile lord. To bad it doesn't pump itself. I don't think it'll be Fauna Shaman good, but perhaps Coralhelm Commander good, just needs the right deck, and it's good enough to be the "right" choice in a few decks.

Now that's the card that Brass Herald always wanted to be. An extra lord for any of the major tribes as well as a generic lord for any minor tribe. Not sure how much constructed play it'll see but this will definitely be a big favourite for casual.
Well, this will be one of those chase rares driven almost entirely by the casual crowd. The difference this time is that there is no reason not to have four of them - while I may not play elves or goblins, maybe I wouldn't be surprised to see this cross the $10 threshold, because everyone's always wanted to make that Griffin deck possible.
Of course, this may be one that shows up again in future sets, which would drive down its price, but for now, expect it to go high.
I guess changeling would have been to much to ask. It is pretty much a colorless Glorious anthem with legs. But it is still pretty cool! Does give Illusions an extra lord and another illusion!

To the people that say that a card needs to be a higher rarity because of Limited... I hate you guys so much. I present to you with this.
[EDIT] Sorry, my mistake. Very cool!
The creator of Maro's Magic 8-Ball!
doppleganger isn't a permanent lord, and a bad choice.
Mimic Vat is cute, but not the right deck to abuse it.
Are you really suggesting a 7-drop in a tribal-aggro deck? o.O
clone/rite are probably at the top of your curve, and the other 5 all cost 2 or 3.

Very cool, another very simple and obvious design (in a good way).

Normally everyone here cries fake for 50% of the posts if the spoiler doesn't come from a website or well known source.
