(This is obviously someone who doesn't know how to play Magic.)
- I do not believe I have said anything insulting. They get to insult our favorite color and I say something without 1 bad word that's considered an "Insult"? I believe he also deserves an infraction.
The sparkmage shrieked, calling on the rage of the storms of his youth.
To his surprise, the sky responded with a fierce energy he'd never thought to see again.
Just look at what Sullivan can do... he wins consistently with red decks when everyone thinks red is bad because he knows how to build and play them very well.
Show me the results. I must have missed them somewhere.
Worded that a bit wrong. The second 1-drop RDW has been looking for. Goblin Guide is great, but Furnace Scamp and Spikeshot Elder leave a bit to be desired. I will enjoy running 4 Guides and 4 Grim Lavamancers over 4 Guides and 4 "ok" 1-drops.
If they hadn't slapped the banhammer on Stoneforge and Jace, Caw-Blade would have been 10x nuttier with a red-splash for Lavamancer... I'm curious if the decision to reprint Lavamancer had anything to do with the banhammer being dropped on mystic & jace.

They developed the set like a year beforehand, so probably not.

Sweet.....this will likely get me to play Standard.
Although, can we get updated art? That art belongs to the old-borders crowd.

This guy, would either eat up several turns worth of mana to get a slow permanent that relies on your already have some board presence (after wasting said mana), or dies without generating any advantage.
1. Have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.
2. Stubbornly argue for at least 1 page of posts.
3. Regurgitate things you read on Starcitygames or Channelfireball.
4. Hate all netdeckers
5. Claim your 2nd place FNM deck broke the format and Delver is not even that good.
6. Tell everybody that MBC is coming back every time a new black card is released.
Gotta predict this to be around 12-15 bucks, buy em up now. This will definatly make RDW viable, all the burn you used up you can use it for another reason, this card is a house in legacy, and it will be a little more than playable at best.
When i saw grenade in the spoiler along with lava mancer i knew wizards had earned my cash for this core. SO glad RDW is getting some loe i can't wait to get my hands on some of these.
Leyline of Sanctity (Specifically because its been re-worded to say "you have hexproof)
i would love for this to be the hoser. you have it, aww, no more burn spells, it hurts. you don't have it, you should be close to dead when you play it.
Excellent reprint. Grim Lavamancer has been a Red staple in every format it has been legal in (except Vintage) and was long overdue for a return to Standard. And unlike Nantuko Shade, whose power in modern Magic has been proven to be a bit lackluster, Lavamancer is better than some creatures already being played.

You mean $4-5 tops if red decks are legit, and $2-3 otherwise. There are already plenty of these things around, and now its supply is really about to go through the roof.

I thought they had the one they were looking for?

Infraction for flaming.
And another for editing after a mod. -viper

I predict a red hoser in M12 just to make sure that doesn't happen. Maybe it's time for Circle of Protection: Red to come back.

If you cant kill a planeswalker, you are not playing magic.

Not happening. For a rare to get that high these days, it has to be Stoneforge Mystic-caliber. And that's with no previous versions in circulation.
