time stop seems like an appropriate mythic that would fit (yes i know its a rare, but mythics didnt exist during its last printing) but sundial makes it seem less likely it is a time warp varient that wouldnt be broken with chandra though.
My money is on something new, *most* likely with "Time" in the name just because that lends itself to mythic status. We're sitting at 7 mythic reprints, 7 new mythics. I would bet that WOTC - to push sales - would tilt the scales ever so slightly in the favor of more new mythics than reprint mythics.
*Edit: If we get a reprint, my money's on Time Reversal because then I will curse WOTC for opening one at the prerelease.
list of card that was rare, and can be reprint as a mythic blue in Magic 2012
Teferi is not actually possible. Time Stretch is unlikely (Time Warp is just better), as is Time Stop (too much like Sundial). Time Spiral uses a block mechanic. Temporal Manipulation wont be printed over Time Warp. Stasis has upkeep costs and we haven't seen those in a core set recently. Actual possible reprints,
Can we tell by the numbers of each whether the last card is a reprint or new card?
Not really. Unlike previous core sets (m10 and m11) this set seems more like it uses more reprints than new cards and inst as balanced like m11 was. I, for one am disappointed by m12. I was hoping for some good new cards and i did get a couple but not enough to make the set a great for me. The reprints also didnt seem that good.
White => angelic destiny => new mythic
Green => Protean Hydra => new mythic
Red => furyborn hellkite => new mythic
black => vampire lord => new mythic
probably blue will be new too
Do you mean primordial hydra? and yes im hoping the blue one is new! Maybe a new time card that does something else with turns that we havent seen yet.
Maybe it will be all of those combined into one huge spell. I wouldn't put it past wizards to make it unplayable if it is new and not one of the previous "time" spells. Hopefully it will just be Time Warp since that is the most balanced of them all, cost-wise IMO. At least then the spell will see play and not collect dust for a year like Time Reversal. I still feel bad for anyone that preordered their playsets from SCG at $100 the day they spoiled it.
I know blue has had spells in the past, but every other mythic is creature-esque (3 creatures and Angelic destiny) Maybe its a time creature? or its just another time spell. If it was a creature w/ a time warp ability though i feel that could be broken very easily.
EDIT: I'm still surprised time reversal never got broken. I feel like with chalices and voltaic key around it should have been doable.
Considering that all the other colors got a new Mythic outside of the walkers and Titans, why does everyone seem sure that Blue's last Mythic will be a reprint?
Anyone else would hate this, but I'd love something like "3UU: Opponent exiles the top 15 cards of their library and you draw 3 cards"... but I know, Mill sux.
Time Leap :1mana::symu:
Sorcery
Choose draw step, main phase, or combat phase. Target player skips each instance of the chosen steps and/or phases during his or her next turn. Return Time Leap to its owner's hand.
If ever it's a new card, I hope there is no crappy remakes of old time-like cards from the past.

Man, what do you expect to get from Core Sets anyway? I can't believe people are already getting spoiled and becoming unappreciative of these re-vamped Core Set offerings.
The only people I ever hear complaining about the Core Sets since M10 are people that started playing around that time or after. I have been playing off and on since Legends/The Dark and love the fact that Core Sets aren't the same re-hashed mess of reprints like back in the day. Go take a look at the card lists for Fifth Edition or Classic Edition if you want to get an idea of what it was like back then.
There is absolutely nothing to complain about with these recent Core Sets. Three new Planeswalkers? Brand new mythics? Titans? A Core Set built to be drafted? What's not to like?
I personally don't care what the last mythic is. It could be Scryb Sprites and the set would still be a success IMO.

Oh man, Time Walk on a stick would be sweet. I know they printed the Lighthouse Chronologist guy in Eldrazi but he was just too hard to keep alive long enough to level up. Although now we do have Spellskites and Redirect to protect him a bit. Hmmm........
Firebrand and Time Warp creates disaster, so Time Warp out of the list. Time Warp on a stick seems appealing for Venser, the Sojourner users so its unlikely to happen.

People, people, they would not print stifle as a Mythic. It definitely is either Time Warp or a new card.
And while on time reversal's topic: I look and look at this card and can't figure for life of me why anyone ever thought it would be good and worth $30. You pay 5 mana, to refill your opponent's hand? Yeah, yours too, but your opponent is the first who will benefit from it. The only thing that makes sense about that card is the scandalous price crash that suffered shortly after.
I'm calling it right now- worst rare in the set. Even good limited players will find better bombs at common and uncommon no sweat. Worst. Episode. Ever.
I really do predict this to be our worst rare in set award winner. I'd be happier opening a jar of eyeballs, so I think anything worse is highly unlikely. This card wont just have zero constructed potential, but not be significantly better than a mass of ghouls in a draft.

This card is either so terrible that it wasn't worth spoiling, or so amazing that WotC really put out an A++ effort to keep it secret.
