Karn is almost certainly the figure on both of the fat packs - you can tell on the New Phyrexia fatpack by the chest cavity - which raises the question: if Action is New Phyrexia, and Karn is wholly corrupted, why have quotations from him and the art for Argent Touch (I think that was the name) appeared to indicate that he's back to normal and fighting for the Mirrans?
It gives me hope that the next set will indeed be Mirrodin Pure.

scars of mirrodin, mirrodin beseiged, im guessing they're going with the theme here, "mirrodin pure" would be the next set, it wouldnt make sense going away from the "mirrodin" theme, but who knows, they might surprise us

That and the fact that it has *No Textures*
its flat white on white. marble at best, but looks more like blank printer paper.
One could say it almost looks... PURE! The interesting thing to me is that if these were on store shelves, I'd probably be more likely to look at the eye-catching blankness of the mirrodin pure packaging rather than the dark busy new phyrexia packaging that looks like every other trading card game on the shelf.
I was pretty convinced about New Phyrexia, but based on the packaging I would definitely say Mirrodin Pure. The NP art looks so tacky (the textures, not the card art), whereas the MP packaging looks spot on for a set called Mirrodin Pure. On aesthetics alone, I would definitely be going for MP packs rather than NP packs.

the day apple buys out hasbro, sure.
but wizards has never gone the way of the ipod
People have been so convinced all along, based on absolutely zero hard evidence, that we would see New Phyrexia.
It would be great if Mirrodin Pure won out in the end. There is too much of a 'go go bad guys' them in today's entertainment society anyway. It's sad when the good guys winning is the 'twist ending'.
In addition to many other reasons, I think people are really tired of the same block plot over and over again. For the past several blocks, the arch has gone like this:
Set 1: Introduce the world and some characters we don't empathize much for. Danger on the horizon!
Set 2/3: Oh nooooz! Something calamitous is happening!
Set 3/end of novel: We fixed it! Or at least patched things up mostly. Let's move on to the next world!
Having the bad guys ACTUALLY win for once introduces variety and helps sustain the suspension of disbelief associated with the fantasy world attached to the game. Since the good guys don't always win in the real world, it gets kind of stale when they always do in a game.

Agreed. Up until now, I was so sure it would be New Phyrexia, but this... Well... This changes everything!
Honestly why do people care what it's called? It's not going to have different cards in the set. There's not a chance they'd make two sets and just scrap one in the end. The cards are what we care about, not the name.

Well, yes. But what the set name is will reveal what the focus of the set is.
I'm just happy that the posting revealed a legitimate logical inconsistency in the existence as shown of New Phyrexia. Karn can't be corrupted, because he's fighting for the Mirrans, but on the New Phyrexia fat pack he's corrupted.

This kinda reminds of when Capcom was trying to pretend that nothing had happened even though lupinko leaked the entire Marvel vs. Capcom 3 roster three months in advance. Or when kensk leaked the whole Super Street Fighter IV roster, same thing happened. And so on.

Because depending on what it is, the cards actually would have been different. Only one set was made. No cards were scrapped. However, the cards that were designed will reflect who the victor is. Had the other faction won, the set would have been designed differently.
Clearly "google" is fake. Look at all that lazy white space. Bing has so much more clutter and visual garbage, which is good graphic design and means that it is real.
I personally think that mirrodin pure looks a lot better. Maybe not as lovingly rendered or as finished, or "real" or whatever, but the start white and cleanness is pretty cool.
The new phyrexian boxes just look ugly. "Textures" or whatever you want to call that just look muddy. Sadly... new phyrexia looks a lot more in line with WotC's normal stuff. That same mess of browns and reds could easily be the cover of a DnD source book.
The new phyrexia boxes look a lot more like typical WotC fare, but I personally think that Mirrodin pure looks better.

THIS, a million times this. Stellar catch. Mirrodin pure it is then.

So do you think someone is eventually going to find out what it is and tell us before they officially spoil it?
My speculation for the release of this set would be that both will come out to stores but it's based on store's War Leagues. When a store does a WL, it's reported back to Wizards. So if a faction has a # of Phyrexian wins higher, maybe their store will win over Mirrodin. Same goes for Mirrodin Pure for other stores. Lower, non-WL stores can just possibly choose which set to order since the card distribution will most likely be the same for either set.
Since we're all basing our conclusions on nothing instead of just appreciating what was provided by the OP (fake or not, I think both packages are well-designed), I'll give my two cents worth here:
You're all wrong. The next set is going to be "Return to Homelands".

That would have been awesome but the outcome was already decided even before the war league.
OK, So here is something to think about. Look at the colors for the 5 intro packs, each one has a primary color designated at the top of the box. This is to represent which is the foil "show cased" rare. Since at least Zendikar there has been one per color except for Mirrodin Besieged where they only had 4 intro decks, two for each side.
Both Mirrodin Pure has 4 different decks in the left column and does not have White as a stand out color. New Phyrexia on the other hand has 5 different decks with one for each color at the top. We already know there are 5 different intro decks for "Action", I will continue to look for the article that confirms that.
Based on all of that I really think the only option is New Phyrexia.

you talking about the pack on the left or right? cause now that I look at it, the one on the left is Suture Priest.

Gotta love the fact that they mirrored the intro pack color combinations. I'm with phyrexia but that pure art is just plain better.

not just that they are the same decks or at least it seems that way...zoom in the blue/green deck and you see a very dark phyrexian looking guy.
