I see no Myr pics, just a decklist pick. It doesn't show the Myr card itself, which means there's a chance that it isn't in SoM.
The scanned decklist outright states that Silver Myr is printed in Scars of Mirrodin. I don't know why more proof that than would be necessary.
For those complaining about these reprints being "unoriginal..."
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The mana-Myr cycle is perfect for fixing mana and providing acceleration, while providing cheap artifacts to fuel many of the inevitable "artifacts matter" cards in the set. They're so perfect for the job, reprinting them make perfect sense. Change for the sake of change isn't always a good thing. The choice to reprint these fulfills a mechanical purpose in the set perfectly, and gives even more of a nostalgia bump than the set already has. If you're concerned about the number of reprints, I doubt there will be many more than these five, it's not like huge chunks of the set are going to be lifted directly from the first block. Just the most successful themes are returning.

How the hell were the Mana Myrs more successful than the Talismans? The Myrs didn't see play outside of Limited, whereas the Talismans were played in Block, Standard, Limited, the various Highlander formats, and Prismatic. If anything, the Talismans were more successful than the Myr.
If it has the watermark, then it's nearly guaranteed to be in SoM. If not, then someone screwed up on the decklist and we won't know the truth until the spoiler is complete.
Seriously? Really? What does it take to be viable proof to you?

1. You're limiting your definition of success to competitive Magic. Mana myr are casual favorites, whereas the talismans aren't so much (I think we can agree that signets kind of overshadow them).
2. You could reprint talismans anywhere. You can really only reprint mana myr in a Mirrodin set.
This. I've been saying for the last year that StP isn't really overpowered anymore. They could reprint it and I don't think it would be any worse than PtE.

They Myr are both casual favorites and iconic pieces of the setting. The Talismans just don't have the nostalgia power, and have no connection to the setting of the block.
It is a lot of space to take with reprints. 5 common slots is a much more important share of a set now than it was in Mirrodin 1.
And please refrain tfrom using the term "hate" so lightly.
I see no hate here. Just people wishing WotC would have come up with something more interesting and less lazy than 5 reprints for mana fixing. I won't turn tables when I open mana-myrs in my boosters. I'll just sigh and go on with he other cards.
Myrs can be cute as they want, and it can make as much sense as possible story-wise, it doesn't change the fact that WotC made the most boring choice for mana-fixers. And that this mirrodin doesn't look like it is making any effort to differenciate itself from its big brother for now. I hope this is just due to a marketing choice to switch the hype on, and that the cards won't generally feel that way too.
That news raises my doubts about this set a little more again. Really waiting for more actual cards to make my mind.
Your opinion is wrong.
They are critical in limited, they fit the flavor of the set, and you're whining about them reprinting 5 commons that will find play heavily in limited? Sure, because we all know that commons are a critical design space that has SOOOO little room, and is predominantly awesome, highly playable cards...
Besides, even if all signs point to yes, we don't know they're reprinting all of them (even though they probably are).
And you're SERIOUSLY forming conjecture on the set as a whole based on a total of what, 6 cards from the set spoiled for sure?
Were you aware that the sky is currently falling?

I'm very stubborn.
You're limiting your definition of success to competitive Magic. Mana myr are casual favorites, whereas the talismans aren't so much (I think we can agree that signets kind of overshadow them).
I'm also very pragmatic. The Mana Myr don't meet my standards (because of their vulnerability; were they 0/2s you wouldn't hear me complaining at all), thus I don't like them.
Same way I don't like Upheaval: I'd rather use Evacuate or the Unearth Leviathan over Upheaval because it doesn't hit my mana base.
now why would black care about killing a black creature?
The flavor there isn't that the black mage "cares" about killing other black creatures, it's that they're using a type of magic (like magical fear so strong that it actually scares the target to death or evil corruptive acid) that black creatures are immune to.
That's not really a principle Magic lives by, though. What bugs me about the Myr returning is that they're an group of cards from the first block that are going to play exactly the same way they did last time. It's not like something like Harrow where it's awesome that the card's become stronger and has a new, different use in the new environment -- the Myr are going to be exactly as good in limited and the decisions about when to take them are going to be extremely similar to last time.
I don't mind mana myr in the set (in fact, I'm glad to have that official confirmation that myr in general are still around) but I'd have liked to see them play around with them somehow, I guess, so they'd feel familiar and new.
Wishing for a tweak or even Evolving Wilds-style functional reprints hardly makes me a hater.
Maybe the new art will soften my mild disappointment. I'm guessing that they didn't put the new art in the DD because it might give something away. They certainly didn't mind throwing the new Duress art into Lillana v. Garruk as new art.
The original mana myr are cool as is, so I hope the art is good. Maybe they'll get Kev Walker to do them.

It could be better with better sunburst options, but I agree that it's too bad they didn't try to add something new.
And also glad that myr are officially confirmed (aside from the baby myr in that art).
What bugs me about the Myr returning is that they're an group of cards from the first block that are going to play exactly the same way they did last time.
Last time, they helped affinity / T&N race to the finish line.
This time, it looks like we might get more focus on multicolor play, whether through the return of sunburst or another, similar mechanic.
If so, that counts as different enough in my book.
I think the word you were looking for is conceited. There is proof, you're ignoring the proof, now your opinion is completely irrelevant. Stop forcing a nonexistent issue.
I, personally, think the Myr cycle was awesome. They provide early-game fixing and acceleration, help out sunburst, and if you get them late game you can have them pick up one of the couple dozen equipment that will be lying around. Good stuff.
But the point is, yes, we don't know exactly what role they're playing until we see more of the set. All we know now are the obvious uses: they're cheap artifacts, and they're colorless mana fixing/mana acceleration.
I don't mind mana myr in the set but I'd have liked to see them play around with them somehow, I guess, so they'd feel familiar and new.
Well, every set needs its limited filler and the Myr fit the bill for Mirrodin. They serve as the general fall back for artifact creatures in Mirrodin. Of course, it might have been easier to do something with them if they had done anything particularly interesting the first time around.
The mana gen Myr weren't too bad. Cheap colorless to cast mana gen with summoning sickness. Those myr are kind of nice with the Steel Overseer. Mana accel that can grow big. Keep in mind most artifact mana gen made since.. apocalypse has cost 3 or more.
Then just make them over-powered uncommons that are only colorless, cost 2, and have haste so they can be used right away. Would that please the people?
Or you're one of those players that doesn't like Wrath of God because: "it kills my creatures too? why would anyone use this!?"
Did you not see me say I'd rather run Evacuate? Hello? I don't like reseting mana bases. It turns the game from "Fun" to "Dull" as everyone tries to rebuild.
For the record, I Wishboard World Purge in two of my EDH decks, and I cast them only if absolutely required to.

It certainly would defeat their purpose as common mana fixer.

[thread=239793][Game] Level Up - Creature[/thread]
I'd rather Wizards reprint a perfectly done cycle and then be able to use the saved time to come up with even more awesomeness for the rest of the set. Why does a five card cycle (that fits perfectly) instantly mean that this is the reprint set? Not even TS was a reprint set (except for the time shifts) and that was the Nostalgia Block. Why should Wizards reinvent the wheel when there is, sitting right in front of them, the perfect Mirrodin mana fixing cycle? Why waste time designing something that is almost the same, but not quite just so it isn't the same? Another block will come a long and there will be new mana fixers then that, had they ended up being shoehorned into Scars, wouldn't have been able to be in their perfect block. This is exactly why Wizards got so anal about fixing leaks in rumor season; the rumor community sees one little common and goes haywire with whining. Hold the complaints until we see some real cards (like Wormcoil Engine, I haven't heard anyone say thats unoriginal even though very similar cards have been done in the past). Wait to see what the set offers as a whole before you start passing judgement over one little common cycle.
Plus, on a more selfish note, I can update the cards in my Mana Myr deck! 10 mana on turn 5 in casual is fun!
Or you're one of those players that doesn't like Wrath of God because: "it kills my creatures too? why would anyone use this!?"
Brilliant.
Seems to me that Magic has become a better game (not counting the price of cards) since WotC picked up this new design team (LaPille, Hill, etc). I'm very excited to see where Mirrodin goes this time around, and I think that having easily destroyed mana producers (Myr) is actually a GOOD thing. Helps to accelerate, but doesn't let things get out of control.
Even though we all freaked out about Lotus Cobra when it was first spoiled, I don't think any of us would say it was a "mistake". It dies to everything, as will these Myr. They'll make splashing & early game acceleration a little bit better in Limited. It's not like we're talking about Vivid Lands here. We don't want to go back to 5-color Magic already, do we?!

Because the version in the DD is the Mirrodin version, not the SoM version. The watermarks are mechanically meaningless and just there for flavor.
