Not a whole lot of land stealers, which is probably what this would do mostly (at first)... but what makes that even more interesting is that as you steal land it lets you ramp up even more...
Also, if I'm not mistaken... CITP effects would trigger again for you after your opponent sacrifices, since it would still be "sacrificed" and leave play, it would re-enter play on your side... Seems pretty awesome. Hope I can get one of these as I'd love to try it out in my Mayael EDH deck. =)

As a connoisseur of fun, interesting matches, I still to this day have not been able to craft that "perfect deck"; the deck that I can play and have fun over time, doesn't get boring, but simultaneously is fun to play against. I honestly don't think it exists. It's like a unicorn. A ninja unicorn.
Way cooler than the legendary eldrazi. Legends should always be interactive in some way, IMO. The legendary eldrazi have banal CIP abilities when you play them, then they just sit there.

Ulamog is 100% better than this, and no doubt Emrakul is leagues stronger. I will say that this is probably only slightly worse than Kozilek though.

If his Annhilator level was higher than 2, then I'd agree with you, but 2 is just too small. It's not enough to completely shut off someones ability to cast spells via mana screw, and not enough to remove blockers, while having no evasion or protection.
Give me Ulamog, you can take this guy anyday.

Such a beautiful synergy or art, name, flavor text and abilities. Love this card for Jhoira of the Ghitu EDH. Not sure about constructed but I really hope it does see play because of how awesome the rest of the card is

Every rarity gets good cards. That means that some mythic rares will be tournament quality as will some commons, some uncommons and some rares. My promise wasn't that mythic rares wouldn't get good cards but that we wouldn't limit the good cards to only being mythic rare.
Bear this in mind the next time a powerful mythic rare is spoiled

what's the use of having Ulamog as a titan when you can churn out brood critters that are bigger than your fellow titan yourself?.
I do agree that while Kozilek is bigger he should get bigger brood critters, but i hate it when a brood is bigger than a titan, it makes no sense.
Power and toughness represent combat ability, not size. That's why an Eager Cadet dies to a saproling or a squirrel token. Maybe this guy's just better at fighting.
Love the card, but the art seems strange. It's almost as if the Eldrazi is part of the background. I wish they would have centered it more. Oh well, EDH, and possibly constructed. Man, these things are insane.
I agree about the frame. It's nice that the clear frame allows for full art cards, but they should still frame the subject. The name practically rests on the guy's eyes.
I'm not sure they could have done it any other way as it appears they didn't crop any part of the image from what was shown in the art gallery or in the article. I wonder if this started out as a spell or something, since the scene almost focuses more on the reanimated than Jeffrey Combs.
And yeah, playing this guy with Kresh, Savra, and Thraximundar could be bonkers in EDH. It could be fun to play against them with him as well!
I'm loving the names they have picked for the Eldrazi. It's like they called up the spirit of HP Lovecraft and had him possess the flavor team. Which sounds disturbingly Lovecraftian in its own right. Bravo!
Love this guy, looks like a ton of nonsensical fun. Just, love it. Amazing card, amazing flavor, amazing ability, this is what I call an epic, even if it's only rare.

But It That Betrays doesn't get shuffled into your library so it seems like a good reanimator target. Though it probably won't see play over Terrastadon etc in Hypergenesis etc.
