Nothing in this game is degenerate or completely dominant. They haven't banned anything in standard in a long, long time. Hell they should have banned affinity right away, but they didn't until boxed sales collapsed too. Hasbro had to come in and fire people.
I'll enjoy watching all the whiners eat crow monday.
Because she's the hero standard deserves, but not the one it needs right now... and so we'll chase her... because she can take it... because she's not a hero... she's a silent guardian
well that seems like the best green leveler I've seen, since its own level up can level it up again, provided that level up is not a "once per turn" ability
So Gideon is good with fog effects? These Planeswalker cards are getting crazy-weird. I like Gideon a lot better than Sarkahn though, and his + ability is actually pretty cool. It keeps your opponent wide open.
The elf is underwhelming but she obviously isn't the star of this spoiler.
Wizards really is going all out with trying new things with planeswalkers and I like it. His 0 ability is interesting and I'm really curious of how he is gonna be played out.

I love how the Lorwyn Planeswalkers set a standard. And the first few sets made adjustments to that template, but pretty much did stuff that we expected. So far, Sarkhan and Gideon are so weird and WTF-ey. I don't know if Gideon is good, but I sure love it. What a great exploration of design space.

Gideon!
EDIT: A bit late, I see. I still like Gideon, tho. And the elf is better than Fyndhorn Elves and their more recent incarnation in ZEN.
Caw Blade
Chase planeswalker much? O.o

Gideon Jura, just WOW!
Can it attack the turn it comes into play?
Edie: Sarnthed, what a surprise. Anyway he's no Elspeth, but better flavor wise than her.

Gideon is good, for being a 6/6 soldier with so much soldier support you might as well run a deck with him.
