Kazuul is pretty absurb isn't he? In a creature heavy format, he's like BSA, remove me or you're gonna lose. He's offense and defense in one, mythic, in a good color, 5 mana, answer-me-or-die status.
Walking Atlas really should have a different card frame, it's so confusing I thought it was an artifact and so will 99% of people who look at it at first glance. Hope the Eldrazi get a new frame because why not? Ghostfire has it's own frame I would hope huge creatures that a set is named after aren't just given a frame which misrepresents them.
I think the atlas is either a typo or should have been an artifact. Sometimes it's difficult to match flavor and mechanics. This seems from it's flavor to be pretty cut and dry as an artifact. If these other colorless but not artifact creatures have similar flavor that points to artificial origins, I'll be a little disappointed.

its also a teaser like the Eldrazi land, its a colorless creature without being an artifact, like they will be, like ghostfire was

Rosewater: "Color Pie, WTF is that, If I want Black to be able to wrath, counter and have green creatures then I will damnit!"
Random RnD guy: "RED AKORMA! FTW!"
Gleemax: "Rosewater has broken out of my mind control!"
RnD after 2008:
MaRo: Hmm how do we fix the problems of pricing with cards like Tarmogoyf and Thoughtsieze
Random RnD Guy: OO lets make a new RED RARITY SYMBOL!
MARO: OMGWTFBBQ! Thats a great idea, we'll call it Mythic Rarity!
Gleemax: NOT AGAIN! CELEB
Number comparisons with the Orb, as well as images of the set checklist, all seem to indicate than Walking Atlas is in fact an Artifact Creature, and the printing is a typo.
An incredibly ironic typo, but a typo nonetheless.
Walking Atlas is near broken for Sealed. I had thought Frontier Guide was the shiz for Sealed/Draft when it came out.
Walking Atlas only puts the land in play from your hand; Frontier Guide from your library. atlas's effectiveness runs out pretty quick, and after a short run of acceleration, his ability is just to allow you to choose whether your landfall triggers occur on your turn or your opponent's

Artifact Creature -- Construct
1/1
{T}: You may put a land card from your hand onto the battlefield.
* The word "artifact" was inadvertently omitted from Walking Atlas's type line. The card has received errata to correct this omission; it is an artifact creature.
* Putting a land onto the battlefield as a result of Walking Atlas's ability isn't the same as playing a land. You may do put a land onto the battlefield even if it's an opponent's turn or you've played a land this turn. Similarly, putting a land onto the battlefield during your turn doesn't preclude you from playing a land later in that turn.

I've been thinking of making a new EDH deck (right now I only run Sen), and I think this is it. It isn't in my colors, and it's a general that wants my opponents not to attack me, rather than attack me. I really like him - the art's cool, the effect's cool, and a 5/4 for 5 is decent (I remember when I thought Fire Elemental was cool).
This guy screams for extremely casual EDH, as opposed to my moderately casual/griefer Sen Triplets deck.
EDIT: And mono-R doesn't dig into my WUB card pool, either.
Why is the wording on Kazuul so clunky? Why not just "Whenever a creature attacks you"? In which corner case does that sentence not imply the creature is controlled by an opponent and you are not the defending player? How did this pass the Gottlieb English test?

It's spelt "ridiculous", people, not "rediculous" - get a dictionary or perhaps a better education.

It seems like it has applications in multiplayer formats. But that's about all I can think of.
Actually, I worked out why. If I control a planeswalker, and it is attacked, the opponent's creature is technically not attacking "me", and therefore wouldn't trigger his ability. I still think the "creature an opponent controls" is unnecessary.

edit; just realized he isn't mythic.
