Can it destroy Black creatures? Very, very nice.
Tendrils of Corruption and Lightning Helix already demonstrated that removal+lifegain in a single card is huge against aggro.

feast is very weak. a) Sorcery speed b) If the control player Day of Judgements and then plays a threat, you have a dead card.

The black removal is exactly the kind of card I like: it rewards skill and good timing and provide tense little moments where you can get a good reward or get 2-for-1'ed. An interesting side effect is that in drafts, unlike doomblade in M10, people not playing black can hardly draft it since you need multiple vampires to get any effect.

I don't think you can get 2-for-1'ed even if they kill one of your vampires while this is on the stack. The wording makes me think it doesn't check the amount of vampires you have upon resolution.

I'd still take doom blade over it 9/10 times in a vampire deck

That Basilisk is a very good limited card, I'd consider taking that in any pack.

Feast of Blood is awesome vampires can easily swarm and this is great when fighting against a black deck can't wait to use it.

Dang! You're right. Then the card is a bit too good and narrow. Vampires seem to want to go aggro, so having 2 vampires on the battlefield will be common, but the card is totally unplayable for any other deck type...

Would Feast of Blood be better or worst if the condition was:

"Cast Feast of Blood only if an opponent has 10 life or less".

There is not a single good elf card in this set so far. Only two more elves to go and its looking bleak. I was hoping they would make some good elves with this tribal set. Seems they only care about vampires and a bit about goblins. Oh well. Hope they make their money off their silly new vampire tribe.

Turntimber Basilisk- a 2/1 deathtouch for 3 is already solid and the landfall based provoke ability makes it very solid green removal for limited(especially if you can put 2 lands into play on the same turn and kill 2 creatures with deathtouch, or if you can give it first strike).

Greenweaver Druid- Fyndhorn Elder gets a remake, as always it's a very nice mana boost, with a good tribe but a very mediocre body. Limited playable, constructed iffy.

Feast of Blood- Wow, wizards are really pushing the vampire tribe, it may be sorcery but destroying a target creature and gaining 4 life for only 2 mana is very powerful, the vampire deck really needs to be tested.

That's exactly what I thought. It has to be "Creature - Elf Druid".

yep, the clever design in that card was the "fetchland or other land trick = kills 2x creatures".

Its actually an incredibly solid green removal card now that I think about it; 1GG for taking out a creature or two, and if they don't have any, its a 2/1 beater. Put 4 of those in a ramp deck running things like acidic slime, mold shambler, and the other host of 2-for-1 green cards, and holy crap its monogreen aggro control.

Basilisk is limited junk, the elf is a throwback to the days when mana elves sucked, and feast is risky, even in a dedicated vampire deck.

The black removal is OK. Sorcery yes, but at least the death is not conditional to your having 2 vampires. Just casting it.

Wow does this card piss me off. I'm not sure what it is, but this card really has absolutely no business in the game of magic.

Vampire theme decks...

I wonder if they're trying to capitalize on the current vampire craze, to make vampires a big theme, so they can bring in some more female players...

synergizes well with decks that run molds, since it can equate to:

1GG: Destroy 1-2 target creatures next turn

its kind of like a mini-mold
