Well, since it only shuffles your graveyard into your library, I can't see Quest for Ancient Secrets comboing very well with Leveler or Arc Slogger, who exile cards.
Uh, right. I messed with Slogger. Leveler still works as I mean that once you exile your library, you can replace it with your graveyard. (which, if you engineered with Relic of progenitus as you suggested, means that you get only power fuel on your library.
I'm calling it right now- worst rare in the set. Even good limited players will find better bombs at common and uncommon no sweat. Worst. Episode. Ever.
I really do predict this to be our worst rare in set award winner. I'd be happier opening a jar of eyeballs, so I think anything worse is highly unlikely. This card wont just have zero constructed potential, but not be significantly better than a mass of ghouls in a draft.
What's funny is that you caught the part with leveler and arc-slogger, then immediately suggested that you can shuffle back in a popped relic of progenitus. Read the card again.
What's really funny is that you misinterpreted me or didn't understand Relic of Progenitus. I meant to pop the Quest.
Tap: target player exiles a card from his or her graveyard.
Every turn you have a Relic out, you can exile a fetchland or dead card of some kind, keeping only the things that you want to go back into your library in your graveyard. Then, in response to graveyard removal or when you need it, you recur your graveyard. Way to go, chief!

Tiger in the current environment is crap. Rogue Elephants worked because they ran around in decks with 10 lands Casting a Rogue on T1 was Dumb anyway, now reprint me Quiron Ranger or Eladimari's Vineyard and we'll talk.
The only card that could T2 kill a Rogue back in the day was terror (unless you had a way to dump 3 black cards in the Grave a la spinning darkness. It was a pain to kill, and of course you could giant growth it.
Shroud creatures hang out in my SB in draft all the time because I can't pump them. The ability works really well on HUGE creatures like Kalonian Behemoth, but on little guys it blows.
Something else.. harvest Wurm.
T1 Elf/Vineyard. T2 Elephant Sac Forest, Harvest Wurm. T3 Beats for 7 with giant growth mana open. Does Green even have a 3/2 for 2 in the current environment?

Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.
I too, saw the blue quest and immediately thought of Gaea's Blessing and the combo potential...if only we had some kind of Oath of Druids in standard.
Though, yeah, this will pretty much make Time Sieve just go on and on and on and on and on. Play one out early or midway through your 7+ turns in a row, then just shuffle everything in and draw a bunch more cards, rinse, repeat. That's ugly.
Between that quest card, Day of Judgement, and the few sparse Fogs that will be around, i think Turbofog could be a pretty solid deck choice.
A question to which the answer would be "No", unless wizards has thrown the color pie out the window, which seems to be the way things are. Also, by your logic, flying men is the blue equivalent of Savannah lions, because it's a one drop.
What's funny is that you caught the part with leveler and arc-slogger, then immediately suggested that you can shuffle back in a popped relic of progenitus. Read the card again.
and yet, we now know that Red Black and Green all are getting powerful 1 drops with drawbacks fitting their colors in this set.

The tiger seems really fragile since any 2/x can 2 for 1 you, setting you back a turn on lands. And considering the apparent cycle of 2+/2 for 1 mana, I think it will set you back more than it will help.
The tiger is okayish, but the fact that it dies to volcanic fallout so easily with a relevant drawback early game doesn't really seem to cut it for me.
Bah, you beat me to it. I was looking for images of the party tonight. Someone was going around with a flash camera taking pictures of all the oversized cards (I wanted to steal the Sorin), but I never did ask her where she was putting them online so I could call attention here to them.
Scythe tiger just doesn't make the cut for me... i mean i guess you could harrow on turn three [or two with birds/nh], but that would defeat it's purpose. We don't know the entire set yet, however i am dissapointed, not by the card but by the fact that it is green.

The art of Scythe Tiger, while typical due to the name, seems rather uninspired to me. Oooh, it's got blades on it's front limbs, and more than likely no where else. Still pretty though.
As for the abilities, as has been stated, two toughness and shroud seem to hurt the tiger as much as help it. Still, a 3/2 for G is nothing to sniff at.

So um basically, I was like, "That card had better be good, becuase that is the coolest name I've ever seen!"
And then I read it and I was like "WAIT, WHAT?!?!" IT COSTS 1 MANA?!?
This, + Kird ape + Enemy fetches + Wild Nacatl = Nuts!!! in extendend!
Turn one, play a forest, play Wild Nacatl.
Turn 2 Fetch a sacred foundry, go to seventeen. Play sythe tiger and Kird ape. Swing for 3. Opponent's life = 17
Turn 3 Play Overgrown tomb, go to 15, play might of alara, might of alara. Swing for 16. Opponent's life = 1.
Eh...anyone can goldfish.
This is great in Limited, but it isn't great for Extended. Wild Nacatl is better, Kird Ape is better. After that, you should have Tarmogoyf, Bob, Thoctar etc. Besides, you can't even Might of Alara this guy.

Yes I know Nacatl is better. But redundancy is important to a deck like zoo. It would not be sad to get another 3 power 1 drop, trust me.

Honestly what this card does is put one more nail in the coffin of control. Versus aggro it's sub-par, as any 2-power creature can trade with it (of which there are plenty, even at the one-mana slot), and any two-power first striker (White Knight, Black Knight, Knight of the White Orchid, etc) can shut it down. While control is left with nothing to do to it until Volcanic Fallout or Day of Judgement, the first of which hurts you and doesn't get everything, and the second of which is a turn slower. Meaning this guy against control can regularly be 8-12 damage from a single card and can force mass removal against 1-2 creatures.

I saw it with my own eyes, so believe me (and everyone else who posted the same) that it's not Rogue Elephant redux.
Well, I mean, it still is a rogue elephant redux, even if it is land and not forest. It's still 3-power for G with land sac, I mean c'mon.
Funny though, after seeing the seemingly-superpowered red and black weenies, I started thinking about good ol' stompy. Guess wotc was thinking the same thing.
