now i have to invest!
i guess i can start selling my good cards im not using to make the money to buy these, cause i hate buying packs now, even if i get 20$ for my 3$, how many packs will i have to open for that to happen?
im judt going to buy the 2-3 sets i want... they are too good to pass up.
These also serve to make the m10 dual lands even better. I'm excited to have a B/G fetch! Go go Dredge!

It's like they want Extended to be completely stupid or something. Like they just won't accept those damnable Power Creep Duals from Ravnica being played "fairly."
Standard is also going to be stupid with these and the M10 duals, and a whole bunch of people are going to be priced out of FNM for another two years (these will hit $80 a playset, make no mistake).

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not watching.
first off, i am extremely happy to see this. thanks, WotC... now we can have a rumor season without "enemy fetches next set...?" speculation threads.
i think there is a chance that the prices of the fetches could actually drop slightly (a few dollars or so), as deckbuilders who play enemy color pairs have new options for the fetchland of choice for their decks, and opening product now = mass availability. after zendikar leaves standard, the price will probably go back up to the present level.

I think the price on these, while high, possibly won't get that high simply because of the smaller set sizes. It's been considerably easier to get rares you need ever since the Mythic rarity debuted.

You ever look at any prices for any fetches ever? The Onslaught ones are at about 10-14 when rotating into only Legacy. These are legal in Standard and Extended.
ONS was also a 350 card set with 110 Rares, ZEN is a 249 card set with 53 Rares. Not saying that the cards will not be 15+, but I do not see a sustained $20. There may be a spike in late December/Early January, but this will be the set to draft for six months also. When Extended is not the season I expect them to be 12-15.
Another thing I have noticed is the sheer number of M10 Duals that I have seen pulled. I have only opened a box and a couple drafts and have pulled 10+ myself. I know a couple people that pulled 5-6 in their box, and pull at least 1 a week drafting.

Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Saftey, deserve neither Liberty nor Saftey.

Don't forget that the Onslaught fetchlands have been out of print for nearly 7 years now. That has also contributed to their steady increase in price as well.
And three answers like this.
Has anybody really thought that those cards have value due to legacy and vintage?
Two formats that allready have enough fetches and dont NEED more of them.
Let's take U/G-fetch as example, who would play it.. And how much of them?
Woohoo, a card that is played in like 30% of the standard/extended decks.
That isn't really making it 20+, it will be more like +/- 15 at the max.
Now please stop overhyping cards that arent really that good outside extended.
In standard, these are M10-duals #5-8 with some synergy at landfall.
In Legacy/Vintage, these are Pithing Needle protection.
But in extended these will be fetches when they rotate out.

I have 28 different EDH decks
I'm basing that guess based off the prices of the allied fetches from Onslaught.

How dare they print good cards!!!
You're wrong, people will stop paying when they start printing crap. Good sets with good cards are good for the game. How can you not see that?

The MirroCube - 420 card Mirrodin themed cube
And if I've offended you, I'm sorry, but maybe you need to be offended. But here's my apology and one more thing...
In any case, this, I believe should infer ally fetches also being reprinted soon, making Dauntless Escort playable in mono-white Soldiers.
At least the art's good...

I suspect we won't see the Allys and Enemies together in Extended. The timing on these can't be an accident.
