Yeah, i think people are underestimating the mill guy. Its a 5 turn clock at worst, and its fat butt protects it. In limited it will be an insane bomb.
b/r dragons are always cool, seems to be Niv-Mizzit's new best friend.
the equipment is boring..snore...(please don't let me open this at the prerelease, please)
it's to help make the abilities better. Leviathan has a big butt in case of being blocked, Arachangel to absorb enough damage, Thunderblust to use it's persist granted ability, Isleback just because they can, and Nova Chaser to emphasize you can swing with this card and know you'll get damage in somehow.
Esper/Grixis turbo will be a threat post-rotation, I'm calling it now, after seeing that leviathan. Talk about insane.
Love the flavor of the equipment; Vorthos will cream when they equip that to death baron after reading the flavor text of the baron (actually doesn't seem that bad of a play, assuming more than 1 baron in play).
Dragon seems OK; truly confirms enemy-colored pairs in ARB, if they weren't already.
Translation note: in English, "Nemesis de la razón" would be "Nemesis of Reason," without the definite article "the"; Spanish, like other Romance languages, inserts a lot of definite articles where English would not.
OOOOHHHHH, Horror Leviathan? That sounds like it's gonna be pretty cool art. Certainly the best card of these.
What I question is the wording of the equipment. Why would it be optional to remove the creature you kill and put a 2/2 into play? I can't think of too many times when that's a bad idea. Seems like needless words that over complicate the card.

Maybe "threshold" for Zendikar, or if you want to Puppeteer Clique it?

i dont know why people dont think the leviathan is insane. even if he only gets to attack once play 4x of him and jace beleran and memory erosion and you've got the makings of a decent deck.

Perhaps weird puppeteer clique times, but not too many cards where you don't want threshold so I couldn't see leaving it for your opponent.
I do kinda like how the creatures you kill still hit the graveyard, that 1) still allows for graveyard triggers and 2) killing unearth guys won't give you a guy.
Not questioning the card's reality, just if it ends up with this exact wording.

I like that they are printing decent leviathans of late.
The scythe is the first confirmation that there are actually full arc cards in the set, instead of allied/enemy pair or hybrid gold arcs, no? I know that the preliminary number crunching pretty much guaranteed it, but too bad we don't have these cards' numbers to further break things down.

mill is slow unfortunetly, plus it's mostly an auto lose against decks that deal damage fast like rdw, aggro, and fae. It's still a viable stradegy though and theres a possiblity that if things work out post rotation theres a small chance mill could do well. B/U/w control outside of artifacts is possible if there is more support ofr a mill stradegy.
Nemesis de la razón (Nemesis of the reason??) :3mana::symu::symb:
Creature - Horror Leviathan - Rare
Whenever {this} attacks, defending player puts the top 10 cards of his or her library on his or her graveyard.
3/7
That's.... wow that's a good mill card. Only costs 5 and mills for 10 (!) just by turning sideways? And is immune to Terror and has 7 toughness? Yeah, that's a very strong mill card.
I don't have any hard numbers on this, but I'm targeted more often than a black guy driving a beat-up sedan with a broken tail-light and no license plate, and Cy's well aware of that.

As for the "you may" in Unscythe's text, it has two purposes.
First, it allows for situations when a player forgets to use the effect. If it was mandatory, you'd have to back up and so on - this way, if you forget to remove the card and get a Zombie, it's your own fault, and no judge involvement is necessary.
Second, there is a possibility that the creature is no longer in the graveyard at the time the triggered ability resolves. In that case, you obviously can't remove it, so you won't get a token.
As for the dragon, I see it as another attempt to encourage "lots of colors" play. It gives a second use to expensive cards you don't currently have the right colors for.
I wonder if the ability of this equipment actually works given the similar one on Sword of Kaldra (Whenever equipped creature deals damage to a creature, remove that creature from the game) basically never triggered. This is because the creature normally was already dead by the time it triggered and the trigger doesn't find it since it explicitly says creature (which are not in the graveyard), not creature card (which are)..
Original translation: Whenever a creature dealt damage by the equipped creature is put into a graveyard you can remove it from game
I'm not 100% on how the reference works, but if this is the actual wording the creature would still be in the graveyard when this ability triggers; the card in the graveyard is not the same as the creature in play. So just like SoK, the trigger would do nothing if the creature dies from the the damage. In the past cards changing zones became new objects with no memory of its previous existence so the trigger would probably be unable to find it unless it explictly said "that card" instead of "it".
A possible wording that would work would have it not be a trigger, but a replacement:
If a creature dealt damage by the equipped creature would be put into a graveyard you may remove that card from game instead.
This definitely works.
However, they may still want it to be a trigger so the card goes to the graveyard momentarily and I'm fairly sure changing "it" to "that card" would work. I'm too tired to look up other cards that might have similar wordings right now.

GENERATION 7: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the generation. social experiment.
Why do people hate on the Leviathan? Its not for milling away your oponnent. Its destroys the deck resourse like it was a joke. Chances are he'll mill the cryptics over you drawing them............. same goes for every other card in your deck. + Makes up for a nice non-flying wall in the defense. Its like a 5 cmc win con.
I once made a 800 card deck. My opponent would always lose because he could never cut the deck without it tipping over, thereby he lost because he cheated from looking at the overturned cards.
First, I'm very, very pleased to see colored equipment, even if it's not exceptional. This opens the door to a lot of possibilities which I've been hoping they'd explore.
Second, I'm kind of surprised something like the Dragon hasn't been printed before. It seems like one of those things that should've been done already. Interesting, if again, not stellar.
Finally, LOVE Nemesis of Reason. 7 toughness, in black, with a free Glimpse ever time it swings? Sign me up. Pair him with Raven Guild Master and/or Scapelexis for super happy mill times. The best part is that it's in the Intro Pack, so it'll be easy for the casual guys who'll snap him up to get him. Big thumbs up.
