I really hope that the tokens aren't as rare as the Godsire tokens. I really like having lots of token cards, it just makes it more visually impressive than dice. Also, having multiple token cards is more necessary with Devour, because you need your dice to represent the counters.

I. Love. Those. Arts. Best of the set so far in my opinion. Originally I was going to use two of these in my devour deck. One prerelease one normal, but hell my prerelease one is going up for trade as soon as I get two of these.
I guess the second preview card is supposed to be the one revealed on twitter. I was really hoping for 3.

Yeah, I'm pretty disappointed with today's preview card since we already knew about it. Crappy part is we have to wait another 24 hours just for the next card or two because people aren't leaking stuff anymore...
I sincerely hope this card isn't too expensive, I need it for my zerg deck, very badly. It will be the queen, and the tokens will be the mutalisks.

It mostly consists of a napalm filled trench around my house and a stack of 1994 pornography in my basement.

As much as I'm against the OTT view that this card is going to solo tournaments, cure cancer and make Susan Boyle attractive I'm not really a fan of the opposing camp who think it slaughters puppies and sired Justin Bieber.

If our local community wasn't so undersized, I wouldn't be remotely interested in going to a prerelease the way these previews are going.
I mean seriously, the only cards that have generated any serious interest are reprints. Show me why I should spend my money... at a time when disposible income is shrinking, on this set. So far, I'm not interested in spending my money on this set. If I know the set before the prerelease, generally I'll go, because I know if there is quality... in cases like Saviors of Crapigawa, I didn't, because we got to see the quality of the set before the prerelease.
Then again, if the set sucks, then isn't sales going to suffer anyway? Saviors is proof enough for that with sealed boxes selling for far less than retail to this day.
The lack of previews is just terrible. For shame. Spoon.

They always put the whole set in gatherer before the prerelease anyway, don't they?
No its uploaded on Gatherer the Monday after the prerelease... unless somebody at Wizards screws up and posts it up on Friday, which while it has happened before is not the norm.

I don't know about gatherer, but we definitely get the whole set spoiled the Friday before.
why are people (not everyone thankfully) are so down about today's preview? Serious Fun is a multiplayer's column, its not like if they showed a different card from ARB that its not going to be something thats going to be more than just a multiplayer card. Personally I wish Limited Information showed a preview card and talked about how it affects drafting choices.

This rumor season has been so dry. We're so close to launch and we only know 20 cards in the set. At this point, we're all desperate for any new spoilers, and it was just disappointing that the "preview" was really nothing more than an art preview, since the card has been known for some time now and thoroughly discussed. It's an exciting and fun card, and definitely a must have for me, but I just want to see something I haven't seen before. I need more stuff to get me excited about this set and convince me to buy a box.
Good god that art is supreme compared to the release one (no offense to the artist).
This block has been good to me. I collect dragons. Unfortunately there's that one I can never get, Shichifukujin Dragon. And Zodiacs are hard to come by, too.

Personally I like this art a lot more than the french art. So evil and hungry looking and they come with their own little tokens...
