okay, beautiful card Imo, another person forgetting the auspiciousness of Esper. why compare it to a shard and guild it relates to in no way imaginable? of course in a Simic and Jund deck, this card makes no sense to run... but in Esper... Hohoho... put turn 1 court homunculus and bone saw, w/ etherium sculptor. Afterwards, this leaves way too many options of things to play concerning artifacts.

~Intelligence is Bliss; Ignorance is Denial.
Skill is an ability that relates more so to the type of deck that's built and how said player pilots it. It also relates to the ability to assess the board and use the cards available to you in the most optimal way relative to each situation.
When a deck is filled with above par cards and every play is solid, there comes a diminishing need to "think" for the lack of wanting to use a better word.
Finally a cheap flyer for Bant. Five mana seemed awfully high to take to the skies.(for limited of course)
well it's not made for Bant but i see where your coming from, nice idea though.
Imo i doubt you'll see anything less then 5 for Bant fliers, In a shard full of human traversing on lions, what else will you see flying beyond angels?

I like how this card teaches the difficulties of 3 color cards.
Drafters will be comparing this to tower gargoyle and sometimes you do rather this than splashing that 4th color in draft for an efficient flyer (assuming you weren't in esper).
Take your monoblack deck, then set aside 14 swamps. Add 4 Creeping Tar Pits, 4 Darkslick Shores, 4 Drowned Catacombs, and 2 Jwar isle Refuge and add 4 Jace, the Mindsculptors. Your monoblack deck is instantly better. Better yet, drop those refuges, throw in some islands and some mana leaks, and lo and behold, you're now playing a real deck. Congratulations. Welcome to the world of competitive M:TG.
Boxxy is really closer to Valiant Guard in playability, or Unstable Frontier in personality, and needs to take a Path to Exile. When I see those videos I activate my Scepter of FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUgue.
Being an artifact lets it be cheaper with Etherium Sculptor, pump Glaze fiend, Salvage Slasher, Master of Etherium, and Court Homunculus, be reborn with Sanctum Gargoyle, Sharuum the Hegemon, and Protomatter Powder, not count for your 1 nonartifact spell with Ethersworn Canonist, survive Scourglass, be sacrificed to Etherium Astrolabe, make thopters courtesy of Sharding Sphinx, help Steelclad Serpent (blue's fattest common) attack, bounce for Esperzoa, be grabbed by Faerie Mechanist, interact with Salvage Titan, and let Windwright Mage fly. It's like being an artifact is a real ability and it's certainly more relevant than punching through for 1-2 damage on the few occasions it would get chumped by a flier in limited.
So the new flavor text should be "IT'S LIKE I'M REALLY SYNERGISTIC."
Common? Pretty awesome. It's not quite comparable to Tower Gargoyle in draft, because this one still dies to Branching Bolt. But there is now one less pack of Bolts to draft, so this should be a high-mid pick.

This is a fantastic limited creature. The addition of Artifact instead of the magical "Trample" ala Assault Zeppelin is unfortunate from a power level standpoint but makes perfect sense design-wise.
A high pick in draft that is sure to win me some games thanks to the Gargoyle interaction. Not playable anywhere else, but there's nothing wrong with that
I'm not quite sure I agree with the power level argument. Taking the limited formats into context, I'd say Esper Cormorants is more powerful. Trample isn't a huge issue with a flier since it, well, already has flying. Being an artifact lets it be cheaper with Etherium Sculpter, pump Glaze fiend, Salvage Slasher, Master of Etherium, and Court Homonoculus, be reborn with Sanctum Gargoyle, Sharuum the Hegemon, and Protomatter Powder, not count for your 1 nonartifact spell with Ethersworn Canonist, survive Scourglass, be sacrificed to Etherium Astrolabe, make thopters courtesy of Sharding Sphinx, help Steelclad Serpent (blue's fattest common) attack, bounce for Esperzoa, be grabbed by Faerie Mechanist, interact with Salvage Titan, and let Windright Mage fly. I think it's pretty funny to use memes to catch other sites blindly copying the spoiler.
Anyways, decent limited card for bant or esper. Not much else to say really, 3/3 flier for 4 is pretty bland.
