Alas this mighty Naya themed BEAST doesn't have the Gravedigger ability as he comes into play...... but when YOU put the next Naya themed big boy in play (Or anyone of the minimum size requirement) after him, you can then and only then use Gravedigger ability. And by the way, his power and toughness would trigger if a second Paleoloth hit the board as well. Enjoy
Zesty;)
Sorry if its in "Slight" riddle form.
EDIT: Yes the Power and Toughness are the same.
EDIT 2: This creature wouldn't be on the cover of the intro pack if it were common. Also, I didn't say Gravediggers ability functioned like Naya's Ability... only the trigger to "GET" the ability functions off of Naya ability.
EDIT 3: ZeroMD Got it Correctly in Post 14.
Paleoloth - :4mana::symg::symg:
Creature - Beast (R)
Whenever another creature with power 5 or greater comes into play under your control, you may return target creature card from your graveyard to your hand.
5/5
Paleoloth 4GG
Domain - Whenever another creature with 5 or more power comes into play under your control, you may return a creature card from your graveyard for each basic land type among lands you control.
5/5
So in other words:
Whenever a creature with a power of 5 or more comes into play, return target creature from your graveyard to your hand.
edit: sanarth'd.
also, who's saying it's a 5/5? It could be 5/3 or 6/7 or something. Unless it's mentioned somewhere else, all we know on it's P/T is that the power is greater than 5
edit2: Oh!
It's:
Whenever you play a creature with a power of 5 or more, return target creature from your graveyard to your hand.

Common
...Just a guess on creature type and power/toughness and rarity. I guess it could be Uncommon or (hopefully not) Rare if it's deemed too powerful for Limited at Common.
My reasoning for the low rarity is this: With Naya, when are creatures going to be worth getting back when you've already got your second 5-power creature? Unless they mostly have weak back sides, you probably won't need this effect more than once, maybe twice. After the second one, to me there would be no point to playing your creatures you returned if you've got a massive army ready to pounce.
Guys, its when "another creature" comes into play as the first Paleoloth doesn't activate itself. So the more accurate guess would be:
Paleoloth 4GG
Creature - Beast (R)
Whenever another creature with power 5 or greater come into play, you may return target creature from your graveyard to your hand.
5+/?
Only question is the final power and toughness. Seems like a cool card. Great in limited and casual. Probably won't stick around long enough to do its thing in standard. I wish black, as the primary color of graveyard hijinx would get a Gravedigger that was at least better than well....gravedigger. I think creature power levels have come far enough that black has earned it, espceially since white and green have had effectively better gravediggers for a while now.
Alright, so I think I did get it:
Paleoloth 4GG

So that this post doesn't turn to spam, I also want to comment on the card. I think that paeoloth is exactly the type of card needed in a naya deck, however I feel that it really doesn't fit in flavor wise. The card seems more Grixis. NOw if the flavor behind this card is a Grixis creature coming to Naya and bringing it's ancient creatures back to life, then that is another story. Although as it stands, I think that this card would have been better in black.
Surprisingly, I think that this card may be used in Dredge to return some late game beaters.
Wait, if the card is printed as zeromd had guessed, shouldn't the Paleoloth trigger when it comes into play itself? Doesn't "another" need to be infont of "creature" for it to work as zety suggests (hitting on other dudes but not the first Paleoloth)?
Where Ancients Tread:
"Whenever a creature with power 5 or greater comes into play under your control, you may have Where Ancients Tread deal 5 damage to target creature or player."
Paleoloth's exact wording (probably) :
Whenever another creature with power 5 or greater comes into play under your control, you may return target creature card from your graveyard to your hand.
"Whenever you put [such and such] into play" would probably technically work, because IIRC that still applies to creature spells you control as they resolve, but WotC doesn't tend to like that template.

No thats not right either. Its not a rare not even close to being a rare am uncommon maybe but not rare
*faceplam* Why don't people like read the threads they post in? On the very top of this page there is a link that shows that this is the foil rare in the "Naya Domain" precon for Conflux. Not only that but this is a very powerfull effect. Turning all your other 5 power dudes into gravediggers? That would nuke limited at any other rarity but rare.
EDH/Commander is a social format, right? So why don't people use their social skills to discuss what they like and don't like, instead of adopting a list with 60+ banned cards?
