The blue one is fine the way it is. A lot of people don't notice, but blue has color fixed with lands for years. It doesn't tend to search for lands, but it has the power to turn any land into any basic land type you desire. Really, I'd say blue is #2 in mana fixing after green. In Planar Chaos, it even got the Harrow spellshaper.
This is true. While I dont consider it an amazing card, Blue got Terraformer in Ravnica and so on. But I dont know if I'd say 2nd best.
Anyway, the cards arent bad. I like the Blue and Red ones. Kinda the Black one too. I've always kinda been partial to leeching effects.
EDH/Commander is a social format, right? So why don't people use their social skills to discuss what they like and don't like, instead of adopting a list with 60+ banned cards?

As for the green one being weak, it seems like the lifegain of Primal Command has gotten its fair share of play even in constructed. It does gain a significant amount of life as well as doubling as a mana fixer. It's really not that bad. Pure lifegain isn't worth playing in most cases, but this one does something generally useful, while getting the lifegain into your deck in the event that you do actually need it. It's unlikely to see constructed play, but in limited, I have a feeling, people will value it more after they've played it a few times. Having an extra 8 life to play with can be a really nice cushion if your life total got pretty slim before you got board advantage. After all, you want your huge fattie to kick some ass, not sit back and block. Besides, like people have said, these cards are mana fixing with a bonus spell tacked on. I'm pretty sure that lifegain will steal at least one win for someone, about every other limited tournament or so.
Yeah let's use Planar Chaos as an example as to what colors should be able to do...
I remember another lifegain spell with a kick, maybe you played it in limited as well, Dosan's Oldest Chant.
I'm pretty sure the 3 other abilities of Primal Command are what make it playable. The times I've used the lifegain option were the times I flipped a card back on their library to gain tempo.
Green got hosed, like it usually does. People need to start being truthful and say it like it is.

I didn't say close second. So, what color would you pick besides blue for second in color fixing, though? Red is second or possibly first in accel depending on how you look at it. I don't think it's ever fixed colors other than this cycle and some land changing Kavu from Invasion block, though.

Dosan's Oldest Chant wasn't too bad since it was a cantrip. This is even better, though.
Primal Command's lifegain is also pretty good with the creature tutor so that you have more cushion to swing away.
Green doesn't get hosed all that much anymore, though. It got Vigor, Garruk, most of the best lieges, its demigods are pretty bombish in limited, it got the indestructible aura,... Green has gotten some great **** in cycles recently.
:symr:: You're paying more for the landcycling option.
:symb:: You're paying more for the landcycling option.
:symg:: You're paying more for the landcycling option which sucks in this colour.
:symu:: You're paying more for the landcycling option which is great in this colour and the card it's based on is constructed playable.

My opinion is that they all suck in constructed. In limited: the green one is horribly overcosted and not even useful, while the white one is less overcosted than the rest, and the blue one is not only the cheapest but has the most potent effect. Typical cycle screwup, Hasbro!
hasbro... i dont think they even understand mtg hehe well at least not all of them
So the red one is only the 4th, according to you? I would rate it above everything else, then black, white, blue, and green.
I was rating the cards that were revealed. Red is decent since its removal in limited but it is 6 mana removal which is pretty late game.
The black one is best late game because there if it costs more its pretty irrelevant.
Normally you want to remove creatures earlier then 6+ turns unless they drop big bombs. I think the black on is better then the red but they are both really close 8 point life swings are nothing to joke about.
I also have lost count of how many limited games I have killed someone at 4 or less life by attacking with everything then dealing those last few points with a burn/drain spell. Absorb Vis is at its best here and fiery fall can not pull that off.
my teammate has been doing a break down on the spoiled cards on our blog. he's been batching them so we have batch one and batch two as of now. we'd love to get feedback on his breakdown. cheers!
As far as I have heard, Richard Garfield was inspired by Ars Magica when he desighed magic and the mana system.

LOL, I hope you're being sarcastic.

Traumatic Visions: C+. A five-mana counterspell... I prefer Countersquall.
Gleam of Resistance: B. Not horribly overpriced, just overpriced.
The basic landcycling is not that great either.
1. Baneslayer Angel 2. Birds of Paradise 3. Lightning Bolt 4. Honor of the Pure 5. Goblin Chieftain
My top 5 Zendikar cards:
1. Eternity Vessel 2. Chandra Ablaze 3. Beastmaster Ascension 4. Ob Nixilis, the Fallen 5. Rampaging Baloths
