Just over a week to go until Prerelease time, and I think most of what we've seen here as "Rumors" we will probably see. I myself love what WRhas to offer. I am soo looking forward to playing blueless control permission decks again.

The common species on this world is content with what they must do from one cycling day to the next. As for myself, I am proud to be not like them. Sure there are the difficulties of blending in, but having the ability to leave this place and travel to a new one is worth it. I have met others like me, unfortunately not many have survived that meeting. I am destined to be alone. Immortality has its drawbacks.
Perhaps he means that the U/R Avatar's power and toughness are each equal to the number of flying creatures in play or that you control?
That'd be pretty horrible considering in Mono-Red the only creatures you usually have with flying are huge dragons. Wouldn't work well in the hybrid flavor.

Oona's Grace is actually still really good. You know why? Because it's an instant. Turning lands into cards is pretty amazing for control decks, especially whenever it wants to. I hope the art befits what could be an iconic control card (Retrace is really cool!). Spikes should realize this is good. Think Twice costing one less means diddly squat. Are you telling me you won't have any extra lands to use this card with? Not to mention, this card is just as discard friendly as TT. You shouldn't be running 4, you only need one in your yard to use it well. It reads:
"As long as Oona's Grace is in your GY, lands in your hand have Cycling 2U."
I think that's pretty playable.
Right... so now we just need to solve the MINOR issue of control decks having diddly-squat on turns one and two (especially turn one on the draw)...
Seriously Oona's Grace won't be played only because Control as a whole has less than a rat's chance in hell of being played, unless CaptainBlue is withholding 1- and 2-drop countermagic for last (which I doubt)...
...see you next season (maybe)...

People hiss and grunt at Mark Rosewater for the state of the game. Few realize, though, that it is Aaron Forsythe who is directly responsible of the current state of affairs due to negligence as head of Magic R&D and a completely skewed view of the game as a whole.
So next time you want to make an avvy with Rosewater pissing on something, take a deep breath and consider pasting Forsythe's face there instead...
I think Oona's Grace will be very good in MUC-decks (if they ever come back). Having instant and reusable card draw for surplus lands in the late game .... well what kind of decks uses lots of lands? Draw-Go, MUC etc (I used 26-30 during Mirrodin/Kamigawa standard). Lands without "Comes Into Play Tapped" and "Cycling <any cost>" are very good in my book.
The most important part of a MUC deck is its drawing capabilities. What kind of counters you use doesn't really matter much. Maybe a MUC deck can rise now???
My current U/R deck has needed two things for a while now
1) Better draw
2) Better early game counters.
Oona's grace settles #1 for me quite happily as the primary idea is to play nothing during outside of my opponents end phase (flashy creatures, counters, burn). I still need a better 1 CC counter, but let's see what this comes up with.
Currently the only cards that I find worth playing during my own turn has been Painter's Helper and Vexing Shusher and both are in the sideboard. (Helper against token decks like fae and elves and shusher for the mirror match)
Mirror Sheen - :1mana::symru::symru:- Interesting card useful against opponents with lots of discard or burn, limited sideboard, constructed might be worth testing, multiplayer very enjoyable.
Yeah I would love to copy my opponent's mind shatter, cabal therapy, duress, flame javelin, char, shock, you get the idea...;)
Seriously though, this card is loads of fun for casual players all over the world. IMO this is what izzet cards should look like in this new set. It may end up being useful in constructed too, its always fun to copy draw spells and life gain effects.
Great, Faeries now has an answer to Doran Rock, Faerie Decks really need MORE ways to beat the few decks that can do well against them... *is a peeved Doran player*
Cool beans dude, thanks for posting. This set looks great.
yes, but flectomancer cannot be played by using only islands. just wait till I make my mono blue goblin deck with this and some changelings.

Hey, me too! Except that I had to leave my wife who was having a baby to go to the computer. I feel kinda bad about that, but magic cards are more important than family.
Yay! A retrace card drawer! And it's not too powerful by costing 3. Inside Out is pretty cool, mess with a Thunderblust or something and draw a card. Mirror Sheen also looks fun to mess with. Careful Consideration twice is cool. The hybrid that gains flying is ok.
Virtually,
Oona's Grace 2U
Instant
All your lands have cycling 2U.
Draw a card.
Almost, except that they can be countered. Although I'm still a bit off, I'd say something more like:
Oona's Grace 2U
Instant
As long as ~ is in your graveyard, all lands in your hand also have "Discard this card from your hand and add a copy of Oona's Grace to the stack."
Draw a card.
Mirror Sheen - Considering your opponent obviously wouldn't bother aiming an Incinerate at you if you have this out, it's one of those cards that does nothing, unless you design your OWN deck around it.
To say it does nothing is not really accurate. As you imply yourself, having this around makes them think a lot harder about aiming that Incinerate at your head. A card like this makes your opponent make choices, and any time that happens, they may make the wrong one. The real question, is that worth the mana cost and card slot? The answer may be that it is not unless you have a few cards that you can get benefit from. Mono-red burn might find this card useful in the mirror if they also run Browbeat. And mono blue control may find this useful since it might slow down a burn deck enough to get it under control. I don't know if this card is constructed playable, I kind of think that it falls just short of that, but I wouldn't say that it does nothing.
On topic: Yay inside out cantrips! And the blue retrace spell is an instant which means at the end of my opps turn i'll pitch a land and draw a card. Double yay! The rare looks like i'll have no problem trading it away to all the johnny players in my area. I must say bad rares are not a problem to me as long as some johnny player likes them their just delicious bate.
that's not "soon". what's "soon" is that that block can have its 10th year anniv "soon".
hunter was WAY back from old card face era hehe
He was trying to illistrate a point that goblins were already in blue. And it is a very unique card, so unless you weren't playing during apocalypse, you should/could probably know it.

and i was trying to illustrate how archaic that is.
the pie has been more defined, as well as, until just before shadowmoor, each creature would not see play outside certain colors. goblin turncoat is the only non red goblin pre lor, and we already know that these razorfin hunter and gaea's skyfolk style corss breeds are not exactly comfortable for wotc. alas, changelings instead hehe

Inside out is much fun. A friend of mine had an About Face deck for a while; this card is SO much better.
Mirror Sheen + Early Harvest = infinite mana if you have the right lands.

OK I'm done now.
Mirrorsheen is very nice, it'll be a limited bomb if your opponent has the right spells.
Inside out, I knew that was gonna be a "siwtch" cared since the preview. Good-bye Doran Rock.
Oona's Grace isn't half bad for 3 mana. At least in the "Draw to kill" kind of decks you can use it on your opponent multiplie times.
How soon we all forget Goblin Flectomancer.

It wasn't an argument about mono-color Goblins though. And with artifact filter it can be played in an Islands-only deck, albeit not a good one.
Stream Hopper will see Limited play, if only to get in a few points of damage and trigger various color-matters abilities.
but wheres the (R/U) burn/draw spells? =(
[Currently praying for Counterspell in 11th.]
All the other's look bad too :-/.
Can we get another diety or something? I hope the b/w liege is good...
Mirror Sheen, copy a spell once, or twice, or three if you have the mana.
if you got any spell that gives 3 or more red/blue mana (and targets a player) you can go infinite!
Almost, except that they can be countered. Although I'm still a bit off, I'd say something more like:
