The new jackal pup will see LOTS of play, the mirrorwave is a potential *** if you got a 0/0 creature (for example the ones that come into play with X +1/+1 counters)
forgot about the wall...insanely good in limited, may see standard play
I would compare him more to savannah lions, but yeah I have a new one drop plus its only uncommon. the wall is actually a half way decent blocking trick for white, and mirrorwave is interesting can be removal, or a finisher if someone is tapped out.
Green Red aggro will make a strong comeback now, this is an amazing one drop.
Did anyone read the NON LEGEND clause on mirrorweave. Interesting card but don't see much practical use unless you have a lot of small tokens that can get into something really ridiculous like a spectral force.
So the new Jackal Pup, aka the Maniac, is without a doubt the best "SPIKE" card shown so far.
just amazing. will be a tournament staple (at uncommin, no less). Sligh, gruul, goblins, you name it.
Whats that 2/1 reveal an elemental do again? Oh right... sits in junk boxes.
Mirrorweave is amusing. First thought, of course, right now is to copy some revelarks. I want to see someone copy a godhead
had it cost 3 instead of 4, you'd see it in weenie. as it is, it may be overpriced for that. But time will tell. Ultimately it will fit into some silly broken thing at some point.
"All My merfolk tokens are revelarks bwahah!" says some random johnny at some random kitchen table.
I also, for the record, DO NOT look forward into driving into 4/4 flying defenders at instant speed... well, ever. What a nightmare. Phyrexian Ironfoot just got obseleted, big time. (unless you counted on him as a win condition).
As I've complained about my lack of 'spike' cards, here are two of them for sure.
Sexy little goblin. I Love you. Lets eat faces together
Good previews today. I absolutely love Mirrorweave. The Johnny in me demands that I get a playset! The artwork is great. It really shows the shift between Lorwyn and Shadowmoor. That 2/1 Goblin is going to be awesome. Too bad you can't play Obsidian Battle-Axe turn 1. Ah well...it'll draw those tiny burn spells away and just plain beat face. I really, really like the flying wall in limited. The fact thats its 3cc and has Flash makes this an early pick.
I just realized. Mycoloth perfectly demonstrates the devour mechanic.
Mycoloth: NOMNOMNOM on Dragon Fodder.
One turn later, 1/1 turds come out.

btw i did it because i could. i was bored and decided to let my little med-free spree go ahead. I am bipolar, explaining all the drama that ensued after. I have problems.

...mirrorweave is awesome... just picture this, you copy one of the "lords" of lorwyn FTW, all your creatures get +1/+1 for each other creature you control...
if it's merrow reejerey for example, after you mirrorweave you play a merfolk (any merfolk you wish) and each reejerey copy will trigger, letting you tap out your opponent (if you have more creatures than he does you can even tap out his lands), then attack FTW, and there are a million things you can do with that and merrow reejerey. i can already imagine the insane combos this card will enable...
The wall is a good tool for those draw-go decks that completely suck right now. I don't think this will be enough to push them back into the fore, especially with Jackal Pups beating down at your door.
Wow, that Maniac just made my night! You don't get more Gruul then that lil beatstick. The wall looks like a great limited trick, but despite the aggressive cost, its still just a wall The potential U *** looks like insane casual fun tho, or at least combo shenanigans.

Mirrorweave is a limited bomb, I feel. Turn all of your 1/1 and 2/2 dorks into the biggest creature on the field. Delicious if they declare no blockers.
Plumeveil will also be a high pick, because the odds of it 2-for-1ing is high, as was Shriekmaw. It may not be quite as strong, but it has the same potential. I'd put it in the same power level as Briarhorn for limited, and a tad stronger.
That little 2/1 guy is more for you constructed folk. At least, it's hard to gauge a 1 mana 2/1 that attacks each turn [they really need to just Keyword that as Berserk] for limited, as they are far and few between. The last one we really had in non-core set I think was CHK with Isamaru, and he was rare and legendary. The only reason he'd be picked high is he was worth something in terms of $$$. I bet this guy can get about 6 damage before hitting an X/3 butt or pull off a 4 damage and trade, so that can't be bad I guess. His awfulness if he isn't played on turn 1 should be enough to consider him 'meh', I feel for limited.

Waiting patiently for MTGO Leagues to become a priority again. It's been 4 years .

The sorcery is a very fun johnny card, good with "to the graveyard from play" triggers.
the wall is a strong limited removal spell, I would pick this over neck snap.

The munge is obviously good, I don't think anything else can be said.
Mirroweave is really interesting. My first thought was "Mirror Entity" but then I realized that wouldn't work. That said, the problem I see with it is "good card, but where to put it?"
The Plumeveil is an interesting blocker. It has pretty limited applications, but it could find play. Good in limited.

Greedy Artists make me sick.
I propose that anyone offended by their commentary about Richie ("Good riddance that he is dead", ect.) NEVER credit these artists on custom cards where their art is used.
My cards will all have ComboFTW as the artist from now on.
Nonetheless, it's a pretty strange but awesome card. Turn all your creatures into matching "Lords" to pump to insane levels, make copies of your (or your opponent's) best creature, make a bunch of Reveillarks, lots of potential for abuse in this card.

That's what I call over-overrun
It seems about as balanced as a one-legged cat.
The 4/4 R/G haste one is very interesting - We don't have a card for that yet, do we?
Uktabi Drake... though I get your point.
If you target your lord of atlantis then all of their creatures will pump yours also. So thats a lot of damage.

Tattermunge is clearly ridiculous and should easily be first pick in limited.
Mirrorweave is crazy tech, it works with everything.
The flash defender is practically removal plus a wall. Useful Control deck 3-drop.
WotC just opened the Candy Store!

i just hope you don't have to discard cards to do it. be nice if it were a land. "Webbed cave" or something...
