Hostility rocks my socks! there are some good times ahead with him and Garruk, Wildspeaker I'm telling you.
T1. Forest, Elf
T2. Mountain, Pitch SSG, Garruk. untap 2 play Radha, Heir to Keld or Wall of Roots or even Smokeroller.
T3: Mountian, tap all, untap 2 with Garruk, Hostility. Shock/Tarfire oponent for 2 to get 2 x 3/1's and swing.
T4: Shock/Tarfire/Incinerate for some more 3/1's and Overrun with Garruk.
If you can play Hostility and still have a couple of mana left over to Shock/Incinerate/Tarfire your opponent there's big trouble ahead.
Even better, but needsa bit of a god hand:
T1: Forest, Magus of the Vineyard
T2: Mountian, Garruk, Smokeroller
T3: Mountian, Tap Smokeroller and use Magus Mana for Hostility, Shock/Tarfire opponent for 2 x 3/1's, Overrun via Garruk and swing with 2 x 6/4's, a 9/9 and a 4/4 all with trample.
Laugh maniacly with glee as your opponent pick his jaw up off the floor and the smoke cears from his side of the table.
I'm old school, about as OLD school as they get. think 4th Edition/Ice Age old school. Unfortunatley in the "Real world" you cant Incinerate your bank manager and sadly now I have joined the ranks of the older population, and my time is taken up by things like reasearching Mortgage Refinance Rates and where to get the best possible mortgage quotes. I have however discovered the joys of Online Forex Trading which at least allows me to keep the bills in check!
Man, this card with Pandemonium is gonna be the nuts. It makes incinerate deal 9 damage plus you get 3 3/1 hastys to swing with. I could see some mono-red decks centered around this. Even if they aren't tier 1, I will still play with it.
This thread is full of idiots... Lightning Bolt is NOT being reprinted.
Many times has a writer in Wizards said so, because of the plain and simple fact that it's too powerful for what it costs. x/3 creatures shouldn't be able to die at instant speed for one mana without a signifigant drawback. (like PTE giving you a land)
I absolutely guarantee that LB will not be printed in M10, and you can quote me on that.
OOOOOH! good call on the browbeat, I always wanted to make that card playable. Too bad it doesn't say spell or ability, cause I would make one hell of a deck with Pandemonium. In fact, I think I just may anyway. Furnace of Rath, Pandemonium, Hostility, Shock, hey, I just did 36 damage and I didn't even swing yet!
I'm being hostile with that card....(even thoug i'm not gonna play it but i will build a deck around him just for fun XD) he's a powerful card but for a combo/Bomb start you need a pretty good hand a VERY focused deck...still it's a nice casual card with constructed potential
I have to say that I am pro red cards, like this. Win more? Maybe. If you are playing U/R Control or G/R Turbo Mana, Hostility is just the sort of thing you want finishing your games. Because its a good reach after there is a board clear. (On either side) You can point a burn spell at their heads and make an overwhelming army that crushes their last bit of life.
[card=Dismal Failure]"Two magi could trade spells all day and never crown a victor.
The real battle is not one of power but of will.
If your confidence breaks, so too shall you." —Venser[/card]
There has to be a way to get Hostility out using Deathrender as well, that leaves your mana open to throw burn at your opponent. The fact that your 3/1's don't even die at EOT is just gravy. Most likely an opponent won't survive more than one hit with this guy and his little friends.

You sure? The card says for each 1 damage... which makes it broken if you ask me. The ability that is.
Edit: Forgot to add, this card could be very dangerous, especially if those 3/1's do not die at the end of turn. Think of shock.. for One mana I can possibly get TWO 3/1 creatures? For one mana? sweeeeet

Or, you need to stop saying shock and start saying Pyroclasm more. Because the only deck I think I would play this, would be ones running Pyroclasm. Edit: This is directed at SpacemanSpiff

I could be wrong, but Hostility really seems a winmore card.
Why would you point burn to the tome if you wouldn't be winning anyway?
several options:
A-burn deck, you can go for head TO TAKE the lead (trust me. it possible to take down 10 life in a good turn with a good burn deck.) by making his life so low he has to protect, or by taking down nasty PW's.
B-you got this freak in play and you want to attack, 3 spark elementals will serve better then a removal usually.
C-you are attacked by multiple creatures, you use your burn TO THE OPPONENT, gets creatures to block, take down the attackers AND protect your life total/ PW loyalty. while burning the attackers wont cut.
D-he is got a heavy lead, but you think you can burn him to death with your newly drawn card, and thats kina your last hope.
2 of the 4 might happen WITHOUT the elemental dude. the other 2 are quite likely when he is in.
Don't know if Hostility will make the cut in a Constructed deck, but it still looks like the nicest Lorwyn incarnation so far. Rorix Bladewing (and a slew of other fatties) was very nice in the Onslaught/Mirrodin Era, and although this lacks the evasion it will probably win you the game even faster if you get to use its ability.
Or, you need to stop saying shock and start saying Pyroclasm more. Because the only deck I think I would play this, would be ones running Pyroclasm.
Pyroclasm doesn't deal damage to players. And with no player damage, there is no token generation.
I think this card is great as a high-end beater for an "elemental deck wins" type deck. Smokeroller/Smokebraider can make it come down as early as turn four, and the Flamekin Harbinger can fetch it in a pinch (when you're not going for the nova hunter loop with it). We just need a good Elemental Blaze. Or Volcanic Hammer. SOME elemental burn. But most of it will probably be in Evoke form, unfortunately.

Anyway, really a good card. But I'm sure you need to build a deck around this card, you can't just put it one for full potential.
I like this card the most because it isn't an Goblin, neither does it make Goblin tokens. Though, it's still easy to put it in a Goblin deck. With Siege Gang you create tokens, with mogg fanatic you can do some stuff, etc.
But with full potential, you need the elemental accelerater, card draw (browbeat), an tutor, damage cards, and some extra's. Looks like Wizards just build a deck for us all.

hey i have managed to evolve my axolotls by feeding them thyroid glands the thyroxine contained in these gland is enough to change these water dwelling creatures into land based creatures

Tay, that's not evolution. It's metamorphosis. Evolution means descent with heritable modification – individuals cannot evolve, unless they're Pokemon.

Wow, I love hostility. What a cool card. Not amazing as a toss in to a normal red deck, but strong enough to create its own archetype and maybe show some people that red isn't just the color of kird ape and mogg fanatic. With coalition relic and maybe some other artifact acceleration, and a bunch of burn + browbeat & the elemental harbinger, a mono-r hostility deck sounds quite nasty.
Also a R/G or even R/B deathrender-hostility deck could be quite cool also. Turn 1 BoP, turn 2 mogg fanatic, turn 3 deathrender, turn 4 equip, sac, lay hostility, incinerate, attack for 17.
Could even try a U/R (or B/R w/Liliana?) pandemonium version. So many possibilities for building something fun around this guy.

You should be capable of fitting in another burn spell on turn 2 as well, ensuring the win for turn 4.

Why did I ever think a signature in comic sans was a good idea?
The haste by itself makes it the most useful Incarnation from Lorwyn. Since most people attack every turn, this could be better than Rorix in a dedicated burn deck. I'm going out on a limb and say this is the most Constructed-worthy Incarnation.
I would throw in some Favor of the Mighty and Brions too, with all the typical burn/artifact mana accel/wrath.... i like <3
There's really anymore interaction than any other 6 power creature. It triggers from spells only, once Pandemonium is in play its no longer a spell. So, that won't do anything.

Between Chandra, Lash Out and Hostility, there's a fun burn deck on the way!:)
“Homo homini lupus est.”
Red seems insane this set.
Hostility is great fun. Sulfurous blast in multiplayer and you get a whole lot of tokens while also clearing the board of most stuff.

Pandemonium - Burn you for 4 but instead I put 4 3/1 haste guys in play which deals 12 damage to you AND I attack for 12 more.
Earthquake in multiplayer? Wham, I kill all non-flying creatures and put several dozen 3/1 hastes into play...

Well, you can only prevent damage once, then it doesn't exist anymore, so after the first ability resolves, theres no more damage.

Also, this card is awesome against PW's.
Burn opponent for 3, get 3 tokens, send 2 to PW and 1 to opponent
