Seedguide Ash is awesome. I can think of a couple of ways to sac him into the graveyard to power out some more mana, and thin out your deck. Everyone likes a thinner deck.
so you sacrifice seedguide ash to search out 3 dryad arbors, then sacrifice them to reanimate something in your graveyard with dread return. Fun!

Oakgnarl Warrior- Fantastic card in limited, fat vigilant and trampling. Too expensive for constructed though.
Seedguide Ash- WOW! a 4/4 for 4G isn't horrible and this one has a massively beneficial effect when it dies. Early game death gives powerful acceleration and late game death filter's out 3 unnecessary forests from your deck improving your draw. Great for limited, should make the cut in standard as well, especially if a treefolk tribal deck proves viable.
really, smallpox and no rest for the wicked look like the best options. saccing to gargs is meh and perilous research is ok (draw 2 and go get 3 lands for 7 mana? I'll pass).
No rest for the wicked however. yeah. sac to smallpox, lose a life, a card, a land. go get 3 land, pop no rest for the wicked. mmmm.

That is tech not sure that makes him constructed worthy but definitely a nice interaction there.
He is solid though thats for sure 1 mana above a 4/4 for 4 and that death ability is card advantage no matter how you slice it.
