I don't know if its mentioned on another forum but there is the "promo card" MtGO named Gleemox.
"GleeMox, 0, Artifact, Rare, PRM, T: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool. This card is banned." No art for it yet.
The thing that I haven't seen anyone mention is that if you are in collection, and you scroll your mouse over a card it normally tells you the cards text, flavor text, ect. For Gleemox it only says "/". Since backslash is so used in command files and etc. I figure this is a clue of sometype. I did try "/gleemox" and "/gleemax" on MtGO but to no avail. Maybe they need to wait till 5/29 pacfic time for it to work?

there's a slightly cleaner version of what you posted. but yea, you could be right.
I also received a brain in the mail today. Sent an email. For those looking for common information, I think it's pretty random. I'm a member of player rewards but I've only played in about 20 tournaments or so and have only been in the program since last fall. I've never won. 2nd and 3rd only a few times. My ratings suck. I have no RPGA account. I played in city champs but again, didn't do well. I've submitted one question to Ask Wizards a few weeks ago. I've emailed Mark Rosewater on an article or two here and there but never got a reply.
I posted saying it was an adlib as a joke, which should have been obvious since I typed in the words gravy, kitten, and poop to fill in the blanks.
Hiya Folks!
I just wanted to drop you all a note and say hello.
With regards to this Gleemax thing, it's really just a [GLEEMAX EDIT]. While I agree that it's an [GLEEMAX EDIT] to imagine it as a [GLEEMAX EDIT], clearly that's not possible. I hope that answers all the questions you have!
o.0 what the duece is going on here "mike" created his account april 19 and this post is his only one to date......WotC spy? seeing our progress?

98% of the internet population has a MySpace. If you are part of the 2% that isn't emo, put this in your sig.
If anyone knows why G0-DRAW was banned I would love it if they would PM me. That guy was pure entertainment 100% of the time. Plus he never publicly responded to his Contraptions "Proof" that never panned out.
A friend of mine got a brain apparently, told me to send over an email because he didnt want to do it. I sent the email on Saturday, no response yet, and www.gleemax.com redirects to wizards.com
This will become harder and harder to figure out as more and more people lie about their involvement...
If you got a brain, give your number so we can keep track of who has responded publicly. If it specifically tells you not to give it out, then say that instead.
Maybe it's like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? Heh.

While it may look like an error or being pointless, it's clearly an indication that Gleemax has taken over the internet portion of Magic, at least in terms of this little game they're playing.
Instead of wizards.com (wotc being the owner) it's gleemax.com (gleemax being the new owner) Same site, new boss
Yes I know, I'm a master of the obvious but I think the websitem redirection is perfect flavor-wise for their little riddle so I thought I'd point it out
Here is my Magic Rewards card, DL, and brain taken with my camera phone. No reply from Gleemax yet but I assume he probably has a lot of emails to go through and figure out who is lying and who isn't.
Well, they could do better. forwarding from gleemax.com to wizards.com isn't 'lost control'. but if wizards.com would forward to gleemax.com, it would be something like lost control
I don't know much about web designing but I'm going to assume it's easier to make a blank site that links to their already well-developed one rather than copying the entire current site to a new name. Maybe it's the easiest thing ever though, I wouldn't know.

All it would require is a DNS update. Not a big issue actually.
However, I'm interested to see what becomes of our gleemax.com site. I have doubts that it's just a new redirection page.
Meh. We'll see I guess.

Check out my articles on http://puremtgo.com/ I'm the nerd you see there... wait, not that one. Nope, not that one either... yeah. That one.
I have learned from my informant that the devs were slow on getting the site up, so it is not up right now. They hoped to get it up by May 29th (today) but they didn't. Their HAVE to have it up on June first, and it won't be 'activated' (whatever that means) until a week later.
The contents are suppose to be articles, blogs and games.

It would require them to invest the money for a new server for their new web space if they didn't reconnect the server to gleemax.com, and it would be very time consuming. Also, they would either have to leave the wizards site up, redirect based on typed url which means programming and applying a redirect code on a very wide scale, or annoying lots of folks who are getting loads of dead wizards links, which would also look very unprofessional. And, of course it is a very time-consuming process. Yes, it would be a bit of a headache to do.

Gleemax is a brain in a jar that runs Wizards of the Coast behind the scenes. This appears to be some sort of viral marketing for something upcoming. Most likely.

Looks like The Brain is getting lazier, he didn't even anoint me with some of his other canned lines. Plus the typo on respondent... :nono: I'm surprised the number's risen so quickly though, didn't someone post on here recently with a #7?
I didn't get a rubber brain in the mail either btw.
UPDATE: Fine, so the numbers are quite high. Still, a copy and pasted message with a typo, lol.
Well the first few were obviously human written, becuase they specifically talked about things in the emails that were sent.
Now they are probably tired of reading and are just cutting and pasting.

what's interesting is the lack of the "YOU WILL HAVE A HIGH PLACE IN THE NEW WORLD" line that was in the earlier emails. i wonder if there's any significance to the numbers, in relation to some sort of game/contest hierarchy???
Forward Slash
I wonder if the card will be gone by next update.
