I love this card.
It will see a lot of play IMO.
The fact it is a 4/4 for 4 (fairly common nowadays) is a good enough reason to play him in a Mono B deck and if there are multiples in your deck which I would sincerely hope, he gets bigger if you draw more.
What else could someone wish for?
Granted Putrefy and ***/Damnation can kill him, but isn't this the same for any critter minus DSC.
The fact that on turn 4 you can have up to 10 swamps in play at EOT is also ridiculous even though not likely.
The Timmy in me loves this card
Turn 4? Screw turn 4, as we have Dark Ritual. Turn 2 baby!

Well the flavour I felt reflected knighthood, An heir to a sword seemingly. unless of course Blackblade is something from Magics Past that i don't know, and also he grows in power as you get more land. Like a lord or knight/
Blackblade is a reference to Hakkon Blackblade, his ancestor. Part of a cycle of Grandeur creatures who are decendants of past legends.
Bane's Reading Suggestions David Eddings: The Belgariad, Mallorean, Elenium and Tamuli Series. The Redemption of Althalus Jim Butcher: The Codex Alera Series
Grandeur makes Legendary creatures more playable. You can only have one in play at any time, so in Constructed when you have a load in your deck just discard any pointless extras in your hand for even more power!
I really don't like that new format for the cards. They look more like WoW cards now. the formatting for magic was perfect already. I hope they don't make use this new format for all the new cards.
It just might be enough to convince me to stop spending money on magic altogether.
If by format you mean the new layout of the "future"shifted cards, then i agree.
Luckily i believe MaRo specifically said it was just some fun they were having with Future Sight, and that they would not be changing the layout in the future.
I really like the idea of grandeur, and Korlash is a great creature.
Very nice... almost too nice to be getting for free just for going to the prerelease. I thought they had a policy of releasing only semi-good cards for this?

While most of the cards really aren't that good Lightning DragonGlory etc.. were pre-release cards. For there time in T2 they were both quite popular maybe not power cards now but then.
i really like this card............AND its prerelease. this is gunna be my fave prerelese card ever methinks. bye nightmare, hello korlash. great card.
i really like this grandeur ability, finally a legit reason to run multiple copies of a legend.
