I ran a search and couldn't find anything on this. I don't think we already know this.
I was at FNM and in the case advertised for some weekly Saturday tournament (maybe an Arena-esque thing?) were a foil promo Calciderm and a foil promo Reckless Wurm. The Calciderm had alternate art and the Reckless Wurm may have, I didn't have a normal one to compare it to. Looking online, the arts seem similar but I think it was different.
Yes, this is new information, and it sounds like it would fit as the next set of promos for Gateway/Arena.
I must say, as a promo collector, I enjoy having all these cards coming out, but I'm getting a little tired at the rate that these cards are coming out at.
Hmm, it seems that Gateway promos are one classic card (Wood Elves, Boomerang) and two great cards from the new sets, for TS block - timeshifted (Icatian Javelineers, Fiery Temper, Calciderm, Reckless Wurm).
This is quite sad, the art on the new ones is just as good as if not better than their originals in PC, but they didn't use the spiffy new cardframes. Oh well.

I think you mean "PoN", but it seems to me that "PwN" is more appropriate
(the 'w' stands for 'win', I think)

I think that WoTC felt that a lot of the players thought Standard was becoming mundane and a joke from all the nuked cards floating around. R&D took a vacation, and MaRo just started reprinting things.
I'm sure Guay fans will LOVE this, but I'm HIGHLY dissapointed in the Boomerang - ugh. The Calciderm is sweet and the Wurm isn't bad at all. I will definitely need to get these minus the Boomerangs, beacuse I'm sticking RKF's or Legends.
They aren't using the planeshifted card frames... I hope it doesn't come true, but if WotC isn't binding itself from reprinting PC shifts in the regular frame, this could be a precedent for other reprints down the line (such as Damnation over *** in 10th or 11th).

Why should they bind themselves? They didn't bind themselves from printing a card foil in the core because it's never been foil before, or because it was never in the new card frame. So why should they say "since it was planeshifted, we can't put it in another set with a normal frame."? Actually, through many things that have been said by Wizards employees, it seems a lot of the planeshifted cards (mainly the ones described as "toms" by Aaron Forsythe: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgcom/daily/af156) were printed to be able to be put in the core set (like how the shocklands were given non-area specific names to be easier to reprint later).
Some of you may have been in shock since we invaded Canada and Mexico, but fear not, it was for a good cause. Now that we conrol North America, we produce an extra 5 armies a turn.^_^
The Boomerang is nice, but I don't see the point with the other two. They're so similar to the regular foil versions and will probably end up being even more common. No reason to bother with a "promo" like that imo.
i think it's much better that they used the "normal" frames for the timeshifteds. makes them more collectible, plus easier to spot as different even from a distance...
i want 4x reckless wurm badly.

Now playing Transformers: Legends. 27-time top tier finisher and admin of the TFL Wikia site.
Asking out a girl is like trying to cast a first turn Necropotence. Sometimes the other player will have the Force of Will to say no. You shouldn't let that stop you from trying it.
Hmm, didnt know that this was new news. I saw these about 2 weeks ago. My store owner said that he bought them from WoTC and then he can do whatever he wants with them. I think he sold a few and used them as extra prizes for FNMs.

Well, the original date on this thread isn't a day ago or anything, so we've all known of these cards for awhile now. Your store owner didn't really purchase the cards from WotC. He or she purchased a Gateway package to participate in running Gateway events and was thus shipped a Gateway package outlining the details of the program and prizes, along with other information.

But it's a pity they didn't used new frames
