Wow, its kind of scaring me that I have loved every single card they have previewed so far. Usually there is at least one card that I don't like.
Then you missed the Evangelize preview. Good for you.
Yeah, the Dal and the Vec are clearly human (although the Dal have funny hair), if you look at the art. The Kor, not so much. If you need more proof, Paladin en-Vec is a human these days.
What about the artwork in Rosewater's post? I don't think it is, but it bears at least a passing resemblance to Dakkon Blackblade. I don't have a place to upload the image, if someone could help with that. It's mentioned in the Flash section, so I guess it could be some flash guy...could be a Knight of some kind.
the looter seems ok, nothing that really makes it an eye opener although it seems pretty useful in reanimator decks, barring the return of the "crypt" as others have speculated it should see some play...
sudden death was like blah....for 2 seconds, then i realizes how powerful this is....it kills nearly anything! awesome... looks like MBC is going to be a contender with MUC or UWcounterpost for the new face of control
Again, we're back to weenie shadow guys and I like it better that way. The en-kor is clearly little more than limited material, but is an excellent pick.
Sudden death is a little weird. Granted, it's one of the best removal spells in a while, but I doubt anyone will replace Putrefy or Mortify with it if their decks support them, and as for sideboard space, I find Deathmark superb. If there was a mono black deck this would be an auto-include, but unless something drastically changes, I think this card will wait for Ravnica to leave before becoming a staple it obviously deserves to be.

Unexciting previews. 3 mana to potentially kill a creature? Dark Banishing much?
Dark Banishing doesn't work that well vs Ghost Council. Sudden Death does. Dark Banishing is countered by... any counterspell, or Plaxmanta. Sudden Death is not.
Creature removal that can't be responded to is pretty sweet. It's constructed playable, depending on what creatures are played, and it's first pick quality in draft.
Another thing is that I don't remember seeing too much 1BB removal getting played. The spot removal that generally gets played at 3cc+ is very effeciant (2+for1), versatile (vindicate), or on legs...
And I'd like to know why all the il- were suddenly given shadow....
The il were at or near the stronghold and got shadow. The massive demon overseer of the stronghold got shadow. So I assume the overlay had a delayed shadowing effect around the stronghold.

What, this one?
Nah, shield and mask are way different. I do belive that's the other RKF art, though.
uncounterable + unregeneratable + 1BB = b o m b last gasps replacement? no. addition to control? YES. casting cost is easy to get around with signets and shock lands + the TS fetchland... it goes on.
i have longed for the days of monoblack. could it be returning? is it me, or does it seem like B U are getting the choicer amount of cool stuff? could be wrong...
new looter is pretty nice. will see a little play in MUC. but limited? WOW.
i have to admit, im a huge fan of limited. and time spiral is amazing for that format.
i for one, am counting down the days. thanks for resparking my interest WOTC.
With madness being in the set again the shadow creature is amazing activation and speed of a madness or reanimator deck. The -4/-4 ss spell is a nice death knell for alot of annoying creatures in T2. Very good indeed.

Anyone who says Mortfy is better than this is a fool. Putrefy is on par because of the regeneration clause, but you may as well add that to this card. Split Second won't allow for regeneration. With all the speculated Hierarch/Magus/Glare/Hermit decks they've been speaking off, how valuable is not having regeneration or activation of very good abilities, like Disk?
This card is a bomb, period, in limited AND constructed. Takes out many win conditions, which will make people think long and hard about their 4 toughness creatures.
Sudden Death is amazing, best removal in some time.

Small point. Sudden Death won't stop Thelonite Hermit from making tokens.
the Kor is a great card since it can filter your deck, is practicly unblockable so it's fun with jitte or SoFi.
It helps the Ninja of deep hours.
will probably go in fish decks or sea stompy, maybe even vintage or legacy fish builds, since this feuls up the lavamancer
the sudden death card is yust great removal, period.

Creature kill for 3 that can't be responded to? Yes please! I definetly like it. You know, this thing kills Morphling. Anything that kills Superman has got to be good.

CarefulwithTax- Read closely, i never claimed it stopped the hermit, but u cant respond with Glare, activate Disk, or Hierarch to regenerate the gang if u let off a Disk. Those cards make Glare viable on their own, but this card makes it that much harder for that deck (and many others for that matter) to get along.

Split second is a truly powerfull mechanic, can destroy entire deck archetipes so easily, i love it.

Yawgmoth, the ruler of Phyrexia, Lord of the Wastes, Father of Machines, is DEAD. He's passed on. He is no more! He has ceased to be! He is expired and gone to meet his maker! He is a stiff! Bereft of life, he rests in peace! He kicked the bucket, He has shuffled off his (apparently)mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile!

Really? So you must be a freaking genius right? Mortify is not good because it kills random guys, it's good because of versality. Because sometimes you just have to get rid of that annoying Phyrexian arena or Debtor's knell. Sudden death is good but saying it's better than Mortify puts you right among those radical fools that get taken over by the latest hype.
Oh yeah, and sometimes you have to kill a 5/5 guy too.

Saying this is better than Mortify is like saying tunafish is better than beef. They are just two different categories altogether, with different uses.
The Kor guy I really like for some reason. I wish there was good reanimation in TS. I like he is a Kor. I don't like he's not a Knight.

now people wont be able to just sit back on the Magus of the Disk, use him or lose him
if they dont got priority i dont think they can unmorph , unmorphing doesnt use the staack but that doesnt mean they dont have to have priority
They do get priority. They just can't play spells or activated abilities.
