If I didn't see it, I wouldn't believe it. I think that confirms W/U is creature based somewhat eh? Just such a weird card... and definitely for Johnnies everywhere... I'm already trying to use it... but the symmetry... it just kills.
Think of it this way. Lotsa instant and sorcery, and Pride of the Sky. That is what makes the pride so great now. It stops all but creatures, turning it into a crazy ultra bird-battle to the death. If you have a glorious anthem, your birds win every time. No pyroclasm. No wrath. No nothing. Beautiful.
I'm kinda lost on applications for the card. Countering spells repeatedly seems like a nice asset, but I don't like giving my opponents creatures with evasion. Maybe with Night of Souls' Betrayal you could create some sort of hard lock?
This could be very nuts in block control decks, you'll keep on activating the guild key word during your upkeep and get a silly huge army, much to large for anyone to deal with.
Also perfect protection for your other perminants.
That sounds like its more of a power card in combo decks, pity it costs 6.
Bad advertisement by Anthony as we were all expecting some Counter/*** hybrid of DOOM.
HOWEVER, I think this spell totally rocks out. Especially for creature based decks that really don't want their opponent to play non-creature spells. Probably has no competitive value but very fun casual.

you guys are all lame. Imagine this in a draft. Ya, rakdos will murder it, but if your playing against another azorius? or an izzet/azorius? thats birds instead of burn. And in casual? O my god this card is gonna be hilarious.
And hello? Forecast?
Have a lighter attitude, guys.

I really do not know what to think about this card. At first glance I thought great itll counter almost everything . Then I check and it says non creature which sucks. This really pushes Im not even sure what style of deck would play this card. Control cant do much since this turn any answers they have into birds. Aggro cant really use this because as the opponent starts playing answers they get chump blockers which works just as well as the answer most of the time particularly with fetters. All Im really seeing is an enchantment that cant be removed. This is really disappointing

Every rarity gets good cards. That means that some mythic rares will be tournament quality as will some commons, some uncommons and some rares. My promise wasn't that mythic rares wouldn't get good cards but that we wouldn't limit the good cards to only being mythic rare.
Bear this in mind the next time a powerful mythic rare is spoiled

Dovescape + Wojek Embermage or Trophy Hunter = GG.
That card is hilarious in a number of ways. Scatter the seeds becomes puts 2 extra tokens out... and the tokens fly! Note that replicate spells still work in general, it's just that the first copy is countered. So Pyromatics gives you 2 birds and deals 1 less damage than before. Chant of Vitu Ghazi convokes off the bird tokens... giving you EIGHT tokens (which are ready to convoke again). Of course, you can't Rally the Righteous them (Orzhov Pontiff is the only T2 way of pumping that I'm aware of, though he doubles to take out your opponent's aviary) And any spare dovescapes become six birds. X-spells are of course great too.
Still, while this card is kinda cool it doesn't really fit anywhere. Sure, you could play it in limited. But for constructed? Control loses wraths and counters (and any spot removal) for a bunch of birds. Aggro loves you playing this because though they lose their burn you lose any sweepers you may have had.
I want that artwork in foil. It is beautiful enough to be a museum piece...*drools* Oh yeah, but the card sucks (should make it easier to get in foil...right?). Then again, no doubt someone will find a way to break this. Get crackin', Johnnies, you've got your work cut out.

Blech. Lemme get this straight, you cast this, you can't control the board by anything but abilities? I guess it works with forecast, but... who really cares? What's it's use, against other control? What sort of control would let you get to 6 mana, and still be hampered by it? If that's not enough, it doesn't actually stop anything... if your opponent is playing control, this lets him transition smoothly into aggro.

This card, for tournament play, isn't good. The problem is once it hits play you cant even Wrath to kill all of the tokens. You cant wrath and you cant counter and no aggro decks really going to want this soooo..... Yep, casual only.
Does anyone else here see that between this, forecast and the guildmage, you can completely lock up the game while being able to utilize your own effects?

As much as I'm against the OTT view that this card is going to solo tournaments, cure cancer and make Susan Boyle attractive I'm not really a fan of the opposing camp who think it slaughters puppies and sired Justin Bieber.
Just kidding... yeah, it's worthless outside of casual multiplayer, of course... I see that, evidentally. I see it as a card that I can play in a three way casual game to mess with another and glorify one.
wow... uhhh... i wish i knew what to say about this card. Its interesting to say the least. I doubt this card will ever actually see play because of the high mana cost and it would still be hard to play in a G/W deck because of the triple white it would require. If it ever does see play though it will be very hard to kill since it would require a creatue with enchant destruct as an ability like Viridian Zealot or Absolver Thrull.
I don't see how it could possibly be good, it takes away everything that U/W as a combination are good at...
This card flies directly in the face of that philosophy as well as the traditional UW control model...
This card is everything that UW is not.
I'm starting to think that that's kinda the point, actually. And, I like it!
OK, how many people were worried about U/W devolving into draw-go or other permission-oriented deck models? Well, it looks like people don't have to worry about that, and I'm grateful for it. WotC is trying out a different kind of control deck with Azorious, one that seems a lot more focused on board control than on sheer counterspell denial.
In that context, this card might be OK. It does cost 6 mana, though. But, you can power it out the turn after you drop Augustin, which seems like an interesting line of thought to pursue, if combo-ish.
Dovescape + Leyline of Singularity = Non-creature-Lockdown.
I think you could spam mana accel to get it out, but once you do get it out, you're locked out of control too, unless you start abusing Activated Counter abilities.
Seems more like it should've been Simic. Lucky for me, Odds was sooooooo cool, that I'll let this slide.

And Forecast is a card ability which won't be countered.
This makes me think that we'll be seeing a lot of Collective Restraint / Questing Phelddagrif style WU decks.
Overall, I think people will be quick to dismiss this card, but it could easily end up very contructed-worthy.
