That's one crazy removal spell. Swords to Plowshares in the majority of situations, just like Hinder was a 1UU Counterspell.
Grand Arbiter Augustin IV also has potential. I wouldn't go over the top and say he's Tier 1, but definitely a nice prelude to any Instants you'll be playing in the future (:symu: Mana Leak, Otherwordly Journey, WUU "mysterious control card").
The Simic hybrid is far too expensive for a symmetrical effect. I know against the majority of control decks it'll be a seven-mana "draw five cards" or so, but against Zoo you'd be committing suicide. That said, there are bound to be some situations where it comes in useful.
These are translations of Cards taken from the official Japanese MTG site.
'Blame/Denouncement/Censure' W
Instant Uncommon
Put target attacking creature on the bottom of it's owner's library. That creature's controller gains life equal its toughness.
Daren Bader
8/180
A very fine addition for W/x control deck and combo with Tunnel Vision in limited format!! (sorry if it's already mentioned).
Biomantic Mastery: Soon to be banned in 2HG?
I guess not while millling is still a viable strategy in 2HG.
1.Swords to Plowshares for any control
2.Combo outlet and sphere of resistnace in one. Stax will welcome Augustin.
3.Powerfull card for 2-headed giant, but real crap in other formats.

Whenever enchanted land becomes tapped, everyone goes WHHEEE
your mom uses the stack
Someday all lands will be controlled by all players and all creatures will be equal.
If this is the real wording this card just got a lot better...
Anyone else who can confirm?
That's the second time someone said the translation in the first post is wrong... The new wording would obviously make it a lot stronger, although 7 mana is still way too much for drawing cards at sorcery speed I'ld say.
The other two cards are very... nice. The blew me of my socks kinda nice.
Could a mod update the first post with the new wording for the draw spell?
1cc W removal? I'll take some. This will see play in W, W/G, W/U, W/G/U decks, everything else has far better removal, especially as decks with R or B in them tend to be more 'agro,' and this card is definitely better for a control or combo player.
4cc WU Helm of Awakening/Sphere of Resistance? A card like this would have to be a creature, it's way too powerful to not make it vulnerable. An Enchantment or Artifact version of this would be way too good to cost it aggressively. The jury's still out on how much play he will see, but he's definitely a fun casual card. I would love to play this in my U/W Time deck...
The U/G spell is not symmetrical, you draw cards for all creatures in play (unless playing multiplayer)
This makes it on par with Collective Unconscious, while giving blue a(nother) massive draw spell.
If some random Dream Halls/Mind's Desire-type card was printed before this rotates out, I could see it seeing play in tourneys, maybe sb.
Now that we know the U/G spell isn't symmetrical... It's still bad. You're not going to want to pay seven mana for a lot of conditional, sorcery-speed card drawing. (Quicken + Wrath of God counters it!) If you want a lot of draw, you're much better off with Tidings.

Censure- Its not StP but its the closest thing since, very playable and sure to be a chase uncommon.
Grand Arbiter- 4 mana for a 2/3 is mediocre but his abilities more than make up for it: Its a UW medallion combined with a one sided Sphere of Resistance. This guy makes everything in a UW control deck better(with the exception of wrath of god), dragons can be cast the turn after him, mana leak is now a 1 cost counter which counters spells unless they've paid 4(3 from leak + 1 from Arbiter) and any other uw gold card becomes a full 2 mana cheaper. He is of course pretty vulnerable but i think his abilities are powerful enough to allow him to see play.
Biomantic Mastery- a 7 cost essentially 2 sided Collective Unconscious is not a good deal especially since Unconscious was cheaper and still didn't see play. This card is only useful in team or 2 headed giant formats.
EDIT: okay now that i know Mastery is not symmetric and counts from 2 players(all players in a duel) creatures, i rate it a bit higher. But still at 7 mana a card should win you the game or at least majorly effect the board and this just doesn't.
If this is the real wording this card just got a lot better...
Anyone else who can confirm?
Yes. The text reads as "Target one player and another player. Draw cards equal to the number of creatures one side controls, then draw cards equal to the number of creatures the other side controls."
If the card-drawing action is performed by different players, subjects must be added to respective sentence(, which, in these texts, doesn't say a subject at all) , otherwise, the subject will be the same. And in Japanese, if a sentence is said without a subject, the subject is the speaker by default.
Besides, in Masashi Osio's comment, he says "...1対1の対戦では“場にあるクリーチャーの数に等しい枚数のカードを引く”ことになり..." which may translate into "...in a 2-player game, it equals to 'draw cards equal to the number of creatures in play'...", which can also confirm this.
Holy crap! That white card is excellent! One mana?! Wow.
The other two I don't like nearly as much. Not that I think they're bad or anything, just not my kind of cards.

Karma doesn't exist. You can't depend on it. If you count on it for justice or catharsis, you will find that you have placed your emotions on very unstable ground; and you will either repeat your disappointment in society over and over, or you will engage in a persistent delusion to protect yourself from that feeling.
Condemn/censure/wossname is probably Mike Flores preview next week as he mentioned it would be "the single best card in Dissension, and possibly all of Standard once everything is said and done".
I disagree: a) Condemn is good, but it sure isn't the best card in Standard; and b) Wizards doesn't preview the same card twice.

The new StP is obviously great, but the fact that it can't remove blockers (and can't remove creatures in response to a creature enchantment) makes it worse than Putrefy and Mortify.
GAA is good but not a bomb by any means. It will make life a little harder for your opponent and a little easier for you, but he won't win you the game.
The Simic sorcery is just nuts in a slower limited deck. It's usually "draw 5 or 6 cards" which will probably win you the game in short order. Insane sealed card, just like Tidings.
YYYEEESSSS!!!!!!!
All ur multi blue an white cards cost 2 less to play
and all of ur opponents spells cost 1 more
awsome
this card is control
imagine him out with the experiment kraj
kraj puts a counter on him and gains his abilitys
Swords to plowshare is back... this time more fearsome then ever! Now you can play 8 eight of'em in a vintage deck
BTW: Kraji won't work with the arbiter! It's not an activated ability! Lets hope no noobs open the kraji under the pre-release, it whould be a hell of a mess!
"Judge! I had a +1/+1 counter on my Guardian of Vitu-gazi and used it to convoke out my kraji, will it also have vigiliance?"
Guys, Censure is absolutely rediculous. One white for the equivilant of Devouring Light? Seriously, this is going to be one of the best constructed cards I've seen in a long f-ing time. This will be a 4 of in pretty much every White control deck in pretty much every format save for the eternal formats. The boss thing about this card is the fact that is meshes so well with countermagic.
Except that MaRo (I think) stated that the cycles are big legend/small legend and that while in all RAV and GP cycles the big legend was the leader, in DIS this is only true for Rakdos.
That tears it. I'm getting the money together to buy some boxes of Dissension. Azorius was the guild I was most looking forward to anyway, and Augustin looks like a pretty good card.
The white card looks alright as well.... not very fond of the Simic one, though. I'm going to have to go re-read it, can't see why you wouldn't just play Collective Unconscious instead, if you had the option. Unless, of course, you were coming up against a mass-token deck and wanted to make them draw out.
doesn't his mean that Augustin is the guild CHAMPION, and isperia the leader?
Something i have suspected since the sphinx was comfirmed as having a strange, and not color related ability. Especially since i read (prolly on the wotc site) that the sphinx is pulling the strings behind azoruis.
still, neat cards those two. The hybrid doesn't impress me.
The sphinx isn't pulling the strings. It's an oracle, and the azorius translate as best they can what they think the sphinx is saying. They could be getting it completely wrong.

Evil is boring. The universe is friendly. Life is on your side. Joy is your birthright. Cynicism is idiotic. Fear is a bad habit. Despair is lazy. In fact, all of creation wants you to succeed. Act as if the universe is a prodigious miracle created for your amusement and illumination. Assume that secret helpers are working behind the scenes to assist you in turning into the gorgeous masterpiece you were born to be. . . Life always gives you exactly what you need, exactly when you need it.
This is the impression I got from... Rei, I think:
Isperia is like the "god" of the Azorius; he/she serves as an incredibly old and wise consult, should the guild's members feel like they need guidance (though, as the poster above me said, she speaks in riddles). Other than that, he/she is a recluse. Augustin, on the other hand, overtly directs the guild.

And it is not suppose to but it is suppose to quicken the defeat of your opponent and one must admitt it does that very very nicely. It works exceptionally well with the other cards in the UW control genre which is what a champion is suppose to do. This card is probalbly one of the best designed Champion in the entire block. I can't name one champion who is a bomb and just by its presents wins the game. I would hope people stop overexagerating the ability of this card to win games and I hope people stop criticizing this card for not winning the game. It does what it is suppose to disputably better than any other card in the cycle. For that I say it is an awesome card, anyone agree?
I was talking about Limited. If we're talking about guild champions in Limited, I'd rather have Agrus-Kos, Tolsimir or Lyzelda (maybe even Savra). They are bombs in Limited. GAA is probably the best champion for constructed, I agree with that.
so... branching off again... i think the decks will have
Isperia
Rakdos
Momir Vig
they aren't as good... i think... as their counterpart champions/leaders except for Vig and that's only cuz i think Kraj would be too confusing for new players...

-This signature intentionally left blank to increase general intrigue and mystery-
Condemn is nice, actually, but Swords to Plowshares was still better because you didn't have a requirement; in Condemn your target must be attacking. Of course, in draft this is still very useful as a cheap, easy removal spell. But nevertheless it isn't too bad overall.
Augustin looks very, very tempting. Play this guy down with the Loxodon Gatekeeper or Spelltithe Enforcer and most casual players will probably want to kill you after the game. But if this card finds a place in a good combo deck, it'll prove awfully good. I'm quite impressed. Not to mention the messy things it can do in draft^^
I still think Augustin is the guild leader, in a theoretical sense he's the public face of the Azorius Senate. Isperia could be the silent advisor whispering orders, perhaps...
Biomantic Mastery doesn't exactly pique my interest. Drawing cards is all well and good, but it's a little late and probably you'll draw approximately, say, 5-7 cards?(maybe more if your opponent is running a Saproling/Doubling Season deck) Of which you must discard at least 2-3. At the end you'll get a whole chunk of cards in your graveyard doing nothing at all. Nothing too exciting, not even in draft.
Oh dear god. I might have to get a box of Dissension. The Blame/Denouncement/Condemn thingy is just crazy. Finally, some nice tools for Azorius lockdown, and it's almost as good as STP!
Augustin is amazing. I want 4 of him. Windreaver costs 1WU. Aethermage's Touch costs WU. Your opponent's cards cost more! This was exactly the sort of taxing card I was looking forward to.
I won't evaluate the Simic card yet, it's probably very useful in a creature-heavy GU deck.
